Get 2 LEGENDARY Silver Swords of the Astral Plane in Baldur's Gate 3 by Cheesing Voss

- We show you how to get duplicate legendary two-handed great swords, the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane. Doing what Githyanki Kith'rak Voss is not the way to to get two versions of his legendary two-handed silver great sword. If you ambush him twice (in Act 1 at the Mountain Pass and in Act 3 at Sharess' Caress in Act 3) and get him to drop his sword you get the best reward. Plus, you get the very good Voss Silver Sword. You need to ambush him before agreeing to Rapheal's contract. If you turn down Rapheal, you have all the time in the world to ambush Voss . This will not affect your ability to free the Gith Prince Orpheas since you can get Orphic Hammer by agreeing to Rapheal's contract or stealing at the House of Hope. Rapheal does not care if you off Voss for his sword. Cast darkness in Sharess' Caress in Wyrms Crossing to not aggro the patrons while you use disarming attack (fighter), command - drop (cleric), or heat metal (druid). If you do what Voss wants in Act 3, he will not give you the second sword, but he will not care about you ambushing him in act 1.

You can also, start the convo with Voss and Tav, make sure La’zel is far enough away to not get involved. Then mid conversation switch to La’zel run up, disarm him (has to be on the first or second hit or it will activate TBM). I used, Luck of the realms then Paralyzing critical. Don’t bother casting Darkness or Fog. Still no one aggro’d but La’zel does act “disappointed” if you care about that. Then fast travel La’zel to camp. Finish the conversation with Voss and fast travel out immediately or everyone will aggro in less than 10 seconds.
You won’t get a third sword, even though he says he’s giving you one if you show him the hammer but if you can pass the DC 30 deception roll when you fast travel back, he’ll be gone and your quest log will tell you to meet him in the undercity. So you don’t have to kill him or knock him out and you can essentially proceed as normal, getting the sword and not having to piss off the guardian.
I did this, but had Lae’zel in my party. (PS5).
As soon as combat ended, dialogue began… and she left the party, then died. I kept the sword.
My saving is broken now, as only quick and auto work.
Still worth it.
Try sending her back to camp as suggested. Then kill Voss without her.
@@LinusWilson - That was many hours of gameplay ago. She’s here, just as a corpse in my inventory. I mean, what’s the worst that happens? I can’t complete?

Act 1: you sneak up behind him and use disarming attack to make him drop sword
Act3: shares caress use disarming attacks to make him drop a second sword
Act3: u can also buy Voss very rare sword if you trade with him
You can get three good swords from him still.

While this method is good i find it usless unless u are playing custom gith as main to benefit from 2 silver swords however what i did was engage laez in conv for the silver sword reward then use my main chr ( rogue ) to pickicket voss long sword from him p.s if u take the silver sword from him he will no longer have the long sword and if u pickpocket the long sword he will leave without giving the silver sword
Stole his sword in act 1. Killed in act 3 and got another legend silver sword and a very rare silver sword

It works as of an hour ago. It seems that the sword scales. I used Varanna Sunblossom with a Giant str potion. (melee disarming attack is a str check). It dropped @ 11-26 dmg. Picked it up with Astarion and the dmg dropped down to 5-20. I used Karlach to pick it up while using a Giant str potion and it was 11-26. Died in the process, When I handed it to my Gith Pally who str is only 18 the dmg dropped to 10-25.... Playing on PC btw.
I think its damage is a function of strength and proficiency.

Voss will find you eventually. Keep playing.

@@ragna6410this video is about Act 3. Actually watch the video about how you will meet him then. How you would meet him in the mountain pass in Act 1 is explained in another video. If you sign Raphael’s contract he is happy and chattier but won’t give u a 2nd sword. As I said in my Act 1 video he talks to you when you go through the entrance his dragon was guarding. If you go through the Goblin entrance to the mountain pass and fast travel his camp visit can be missed. Its tedious repeating things who only watch 20% of the video.

Ya bro I’ve heard 3 different versions now, a lot of people get the crossbow it seems, the next most common is the 2 handed. Last and most rare it seems is the 1 handed longsword. I’m still working on my first play through and literally got the 2 handed my first try ever, 1 command to disarm and all, it was easy for me admittedly however my issue is, I already have the fussur great sword which I like alot, I was going for the 1 handed longsword and have been looking it up since. I haven’t gotten far in my play through so I may reload a few times and see the results. The 2 handed isn’t bad it just only benefits githyanks and I was doing a elf/human play through…..so I’m pretty bummed as of right now even with the 2 handed
