The dismay from Lucy when she said “I haven’t changed the rules in any of these” was the perfect preface to the 9 episodes of utter chaos that followed 😂😂😂
Not gonna lie I thought I misheard the conversation 'cause Lucy didn't give the impression she believed herself to be an octopus XD Glad to know it was greg and not me having a bluescreen moment.
I'm a bit surprised nobody deflated the duck. It was my first thought. I had to go back and listen to the task to make sure it wasn't excluded as a solution.
I remember this was my first thought back when I saw this episode. This needed a Rosie Jones type contestant. She would've stabbed it and deflated it immediately
Nah, usually those low, stationary angles (like from below a flamingo) they just use things like GoPros I think. Nowadays their quality is decent enough.
@@Sheer_Falacy They edit them out a lot, and sometimes they do forget. There will just be slightly blurry parts of the background and that likely was a camera person.
I used to know someone who used 'beak' as a name for cocaine. He'd probably have the same ethos that if the beak were in front of him that he'd struggle not to touch it
... There was a rule saying IF the fuck leaves the course, it must return to where it left it, BUT... There was not rule that said it must enter the course in the first place!
0:36 I've rewound this three times. That has to be special effects replacing the sky with a time lapse of clouds, but why? It's lovely, but is there any other reason? (I haven't watched the rest of the video, in case that's an easter egg that gets explained later).
The more I watch of this series the more I realise that people love to love an absolute moron. It wasn’t that long ago that people would be ashamed of being seen as a dunce but now it’s celebrated.
Why would you think about moving the boundaries and the obstacles but not deflate the duck? That was the 1st thing came to my mind when they read the rules.
I thought this, so I looked it up. Turns out there's no difference. There's no consensus as to which term is "correct" in which circumstances, at least not in ornithological circles, and both terms are synonymous with each other. Therefore they're perfectly correct in calling it a beak, and I've learned my essentially useless fact for the day 😂
i might be outing myself as a huge idiot here.. but how heavy could that duck possibly be? it is only full of air, right? i fell like one could grab it by the wing and just hold it above the head? am i missing something? 😅

Haha yes. 😂😂😂
2:02 Alex is about to correct the 4 *sets* of arms comment, and then realises that it's not worth trying to inject any sense into this conversation
One of my favourite Alex moments.
"We have to move on with the show, Greg"
Horne inner monologue:
'Wait, four _sets_ of arms?'
Not gonna lie I thought I misheard the conversation 'cause Lucy didn't give the impression she believed herself to be an octopus XD Glad to know it was greg and not me having a bluescreen moment.
🤨
☝️😧
😮💨

Was my first thought as well.
@@michaelangellotti4773 mine too.

My first thought was that you're not allowed to leave the course, but you start outside it and there's no requirement to enter it...
It would probably take too long to get all the air out of it, but I guess it's still worth a shot.
I love this season so much. Lucy just absolutely perplexing Greg with her legs are arms but without fingers is just *chef's kiss*
That duck would have broken John Kearns.
Imagine how big the pharmacist shop is
Or Ed Gamble
Then he'll say you can't buy them that big!
7:30 will always make me laugh 😂 😂, both Julian’s question and Alex’s answer whilst the duck bobbles along is just stupidly funny.
I just now realized how many cameras they own, there must be like 50 for all these shots
The fact that you never see any of the other cameras, even in the wide shots, is really impressive.
They probably rent some or all of them.

I would have just delated the duck
To see Greg so utterly speechless at Lucy and her 4 arms...priceless 🤣
8 arms (four sets)
"Legs are just arms without hands". Such a profound statement!
'Legs are just the arms of the hips'
Julian being mildly exasperated at Alex the entire time is my spirit animal.
You can't buy them that big
Well, not at the pharmacist.
_You can’t_ doesn’t apply to the Taskmaster!
@@Taolan8472😂😂😂
why was my immediate reaction after hearing the task stab it
Mine too!
Same
Sue in a Napoleon Dynamite tee!! A lady of sophisticated taste.
I submit that while Sue and Susan's methods were more effective, Sam and Lucy's method looked more fun
This was my favorite season. I loved this cast!
i would have wanted to just bust it and take the deflated version :D
wish someone would've just picked up the rubber duck and walked with it
Rubber ducks and pineapples? Add in a leafblower and it's the platonic ideal of Taskmaster tasks
I used to know someone who used 'beak' as a name for cocaine. He'd probably have the same ethos that if the beak were in front of him that he'd struggle not to touch it
0:37 - what is happening with the clouds in the background ?!
Regardless of them no longer being together, Lucy chastising Sue for using lateral thinking was very Jon Richardson-esque
And then she breaks the only rule that actually was spelled out
I loved this episode. Thanx for the re-view. 💙🌻💙
7:04 Julian does a reverse 'Everything you need is on the task' to Alex
This task epitomizes the joy of task masters. Smiling the whole time. 😂
Surprised me that it wasn't revealed that there was a small duck hidden somewhere
love this crew
Julian being robbed by the wind though :(

How does a FUCK leave a course 😂😂😂😂
@@taidjemullen5723 When you forget to put the handbrake on first.

This is amazing hahaha 😂
Suprised no one thought to just not enter the course to begin with.

Only thing I can think of is that it's the same thing as with the taskmaster intro sky
Heh, they do random stuff like that all the time. Check out how many times planes overhead are in shots for tasks at the house.
They don't sell duckies that size at the chemist.
The more I watch of this series the more I realise that people love to love an absolute moron. It wasn’t that long ago that people would be ashamed of being seen as a dunce but now it’s celebrated.
Is this a reupload or am I from the future? Could have sworn I saw this one a few weeks back. Still hilarious upon second viewing
Flamingos and a pineapple... Is the taskmaster in "the lifestyle"?
5:54 Alex of course means *gooch.
Why would you think about moving the boundaries and the obstacles but not deflate the duck? That was the 1st thing came to my mind when they read the rules.
9:26 😂 i react the same way
That's no beak, that's a bill. It's not a giant rubber chicken, is it?

I love Lucy!
Why didn't someone pop it ?
i might be outing myself as a huge idiot here.. but how heavy could that duck possibly be? it is only full of air, right? i fell like one could grab it by the wing and just hold it above the head? am i missing something? 😅
How does a human like Lucy exist?
You mean someone with four arms, right?
Did Jon not give Lucy some advice before she started the show?
Do you seriously think it would have made any difference?
@ yea, you need to think outside the box for most of these tasks
@@bamitslori9750 I don't think Lucy's thinking has ever been 'in the box'! She is just so far outside of it that any advice wouldn't have helped.
It’s a bill people, not a beak (quack!) 🐤
Why wouldn’t they deflate it? 😅
literally what I thought, just pop it and carry it down 😂would probably land you in the cheaters video though
Why did no one just deflate the duck..?
It would probably take too long
@iliketrains3495 there's no rule saying you can't damage the duck
No where did it say the duck must be inflated or use the course.
*This is a re-upload. why the fresh upload of the same video?*
*Executive producer* Alex Horne.
