Man its been a while. For what its worth, your content has def brought my wife and 4 daughters much closer as a family. Gathering wild fruits smoking and preserving fish catching crawdads, and making rope and other crafts... Well it was a grand blessing, and so are you. From my family and myself, thank you. You are a man of wisdom, patience, strength, a leader of men and a great father and husband. We love you, we miss you, and we pray for you and your family Bob.

Just wondering why he quit making videos. 🤷♀️ Maybe his new adventures are keeping him too busy. Hoping his health is improving. Anyway, he is a treasure, a wonderful teacher with a wealth of knowledge. I hope he can find the inspiration to start making videos again soon. : )

Just stumbled upon your channel and I am hooked. You know those shows that relaxes you and just grounds you? That's what your videos does for me. I'm fascinated with the simplicity and realness of your content though I'm not the outdoor type. Shame it seems I got on the bandwagon late seeing from the comments you haven't been uploading. Hope you and you're family are doing good and I appreciate you making and leaving these gem videos up!

Why is no one else asking the question of where is Bob? It's been over 7 months now with no new content, no messages to let everyone know what's going on. It's like he has completely disappeared from UA-cam. I'm praying he and his family are safe and well.

Idk. Maybe he is just the type of person that doesn't like to give bad news, or simply quit doing videos because he can't anymore.

Hello Bob! As with all others, I’ve learned a lot from u! Ur land has always been a grocery store, u have a variety of eats, and now ur expanding ur food source, and that is totally awesome! A long time ago, as u well know, people depended on the land and waterways to acquire their food, these days people r dependent on grocery stores for their food, which is not a secure thing to depend on, not to mention how the weather system has been for a while, and seems to be getting worse. U r one very smart young man, though u r working hard now, these ponds will basically take care of themselves + provide u with plenty of food for years to come, as with ur wild edibles, wild animals, Crawdads, snakes and such. It would not surprise me if one day u’ll have a video on how u plan to use natural water sources, pond, river to water ur garden. Enjoyed it! Thank u

It's Sept.. now.. maybe it's cooling off a bit in MS.. My buddy has a tractor I can use, but I really need one of these excavators.. Dang .. Just about to retire.. need a pond or two on the property.. I have a swamp way in the back.. but it's pretty shallow.. Cool channel Mr. Hansler.. appreciate you posting your videos and glad you survived the snake bite.. *got snakes too*.. DMAX

When did Texans stop calling ponds "tanks"? I used to live there and that's what they were known as. I can't wait until you have full ponds and can start stocking them! Those will be some awesomely fun videos. And yes, I'm familiar with humidity. I have escaped to NM.

Idk how I missed this video 2 weeks ago but I'm glad I found it today. I'm down for any content. Leatherwork, survival, the ponds and your plans for making your land fruitful for y'all, all of it. We're wanting to buy land eventually but we have been clueless what to do with it when we buy it other than lease it to ranchers for grazing. Hubs has 0 interest in cattle or farming but I think something we can make useful for us like this would be a good balance for us. Glad you're up and about and you and the missus got the equipment fixed so you can keep making progress. Stay well sir and give mr Huck a good ear scratch from the Permian.

I haven’t seen a video of how this pond turned out, but the steep sides and lack of directing runoff water into and a form of drainage spillway out have me concerned. Would love to see how it turned out.
