    Hey Group,
First collaboration with my daughter Bre as spring starts up. Apologies for the wind, Texas has been uncommonly windy this year and we are actively looking at camera equipment that has a shotgun mic with a wind screen. Looking at models and financing now, your advice would be helpful and appreciated.
The Gee's trap extender featured at the end of this video is not commerciallly available. Bre and I plan on making a crawfish trapping vid in the coming weeks to show them off and see if there is any interest. If there are enough folks that want these, I'll get in touch with the Tackle Factory to get production going. We'll see.
Wooded Beardsman will be here in a few weeks, everything's greening up and we're filming every moment we can. Thank ya'll for watching, special thanks to those who support this channel through Patreon, and...
    Until Next Time,
    Bob Hansler

You win the father of the year man, taking out your daughter, showing her how stuff is done in the wild. Nothing like parent-child bonding time. Immortality? No, but you are into something there.
The folks who GET OUT into nature, out of the cesspool of cities and breath.... LIVE in the FRESH clean air, her their hands dirty, feel the dirt under their feet and connect with nature..... That really DOES bring life.
I mean, human beings are part of nature too. When we isolate ourselves so completely from our own nature, surrounding and submersing ourself in nothing but concrete, metal, machines, chemicals, all the things that are the very opposite of what we ARE ....That's unnatural, and the natural does not do well surrounded and consumed by the UNnatural.
So yeah, the more time we can spend out in the country away from the pollution of so called "civilization" the healthier we can be, which means we simply don't age as rapidly.

Even when the boys wasn't up to it she always was.

He taught survival to Naval personal during WWII so when we were out with him we lived out of his rucksack and what we found along the way. There are more activities in life than just hunting/fishing. Also raising a kid "right" is about teaching them manners, respect, and how to live life.

When we were kids, we used to catch them by floating a piece of plywood on the creek, then stepping on it to push it down. When it floated back up, there would be a bunch of crawdads on the board...there would be two or three of use working quickly to grab them before they skittered off the board.

I've done this. We were camping on the Monterey peninsula. This was maybe thirty years ago. We didn't actually sit in the stream. There were so many on the banks we just bent over and picked them up. Incredibly delicious.

You must be the most wonderful Dad in the world.....to have a daughter that will do what she does. Some absolutely lucky damn dude is going to marry her! Most won't even LOOK at a worm, much less crawl around in a muddy creek grabbin' stuff from under rocks. Dad, you have done a super job with her. Thank you!!!

You are making some splendid videos Bob. You are reminding me of crawdad fishin and cookin when I was a kid in Rhode Island, using basically the same methods, however with different materials. I really appreciate you putting in little details like propping up flat rocks to create more hiding spots for the next year. Thanks much, Ted

Howdy Bob, as always, Yu have brought us & yur family along to teach us how to catch crawdads! I’m w/Yu on learning what Yu have available near yur home , to catch & cook , & not going 100’s of miles to see sumthin new ! Yu have opened up a whole new world to me ( us ) by bringing us along in yur very diverse, “backyard” !
