Dear Jack: After giving away my bullhead catfish (Ameiurus nebulosus) or (Ameiurus melas), I searched for a species of cat, which would do well in captivity. A bullhead gets too wild, when full-grown, and panics, running into the walls of a tank. I wanted a cat with a wide mouth and settled on a South American bumblebee catfish (Microglanis iheringi). Although they have the look I like, they stay hidden, most of the time. I really like frogs, frogfish, and deep sea anglerfish. But, they don’t do well in captivity (or are impossible to keep). They have wide mouths, which I find charming. Dwarf African frogs (Hymenochirus boettgeri) have a narrow mouth, but are still adorable. Do yours ever get out of the tank? I would suspect this is problematic. Thank you for sharing your, fascinating look at your, terrific, frog tank. It is a beautifully, planted tank. Is it a 10-gallon? All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Hello. They can get out of the tank from what I've heard. It is suggested to keep a lid on the tank. The task I have them in is a 10 gallon. I don't fill the water to the brim which I think serves for a couple different purposes. One of them being thatthe need air so having a gap keeps them from suffocating. Also, allowing a gap there, makes the frogs less likely to escape if I should remove the lid for maintenance. I really don't think you have much to worry about with them. You have black worms. They love black worms.

I try blood worms and tadpoles pallets even brine shrimp they still don’t eat
