Hi Jack, I don't know much about plecos, but your endlers are looking great. And good luck on your breeding project! Hope to see your updates soon!

Thank you Bo for watching and I appreciate the comment! Those endlers just keep multiplying and don't slow down. I do enjoy them.

      Dear Jack:
I see that you also feed French-cut green beans to your, aquatic pets. Do you get them canned without salt? I do believe that is best. I’ve avoided the salted type (which I eat). I suspect that adding salt to the tank in the food would be a mistake (as it would build up, over time). I also don’t know if shrimp or fish would eat it.
You might enjoy Alf’s content on his, UA-cam Channel.

He keeps cichlids, so plants are out. But, he has caught some, interesting footage of his, fantastic, fish-keeping hobby.
Thank you for sharing this, terrific video of your, charming, ancistrus breeding tank. I’m super-jealous of your, colorful Endler’s livebearers. I can’t get them at any, local, pet store. Perhaps I’ll order some on-line, eventually.
Keep up your, awesome, aquarist hobby and YouTubing.
      All my best,
      Sincerely,
      E. J. Brinegar
P.S. Hi, Bo. I tried to start my, own, comment string, but UA-cam gives me not joy, today.

Hello, I noticed that I missed this message. Yes. My greenbeans I get are without salt or say no salt added. I find my plecos love them, my shrimp like them, but not as much as some of the other goodies I put in the tank for them. If it helps to know, I do give my endlers BBS and I just get some out with a pipette and put them directly in the tank. So far no problem with my shrimp getting an overload of salt. I'll also check out Alf. I try too check out and see what everyone is doing.

      Dear Jack:
I'm not surprised that Endler's livebearers don't mind salt. I've heard that many livebearers appreciate salt in the water, especially mollies (Poecilia sphenops). I wouldn't want to add salt to a shrimp tank, though. They are very sensitive to changes in water parameters. They might grow accustomed to a gradual increase in salt. But, when a water change is completed, the sudden drop in salt might be traumatic for them.
Thank you for your, continued correspondence and help.
      Sincerely,
      Brinegar
