To the Nigerian American woman: there are a lot of things about your story that reminds me of me. The reason you may be attracting lots of bad friendships, bad relationships and jealousy is because there is something about you that may be coming off as really naive and overly friendly so people think they can get away with a lot of things. You might need to work on having stronger boundaries with people and it needs to show in your energy. Then people won’t approach you crazy like that
Nah, I think she sounds like the problem. She sounds aggressive and angry.

In the first email I appreciate her coming to her senses while typing her story out. Most times we know exactly what we need to do in these love and relationship situations yet don’t always have the strength to do so.
Writing (journaling) is powerful for transformation.
Girl #2 has a spirit on her that’s attracting this type of energy. Everyone is saying the same thing and getting the same vibe from her. She’s the common denominator. She’s being a chameleon. Her view of herself doesn’t match what she is actually projecting. Sounds to me she struggles with acceptance and validation which causes her to overextend herself and appear disingenuine/naive/fake to others. This is what I’m picking up spiritually. She needs to work on how she’s showing up and make sure its whole/authentic. That its true to the best version of herself at all times. That its true to the person she is when there is no personality to conform to. Once she becomes consistent I think she’ll form better relationships. People aren’t receiving her well because she hasn’t learned to receive herself. They don’t see her for who she is bc she hasn’t given them the chance to see who she really is. Do Inner work to become whole and confident. And then present that.

That last story sis was not one of them for real and she showed it. Almost gave up on watching Talks with Tony but this story gave me hope again lol. Don't even know her and she is my hero, she deserves the rounds of applause and more.

That part. That's how I found out I was dealing with anxiety. Everyone made me feel like I wanted to fight them. I took a step back and said, "everyone else can't be making me mad". And I was diagnosed with anxiety.
Wrong. Was not Jesus the son of God, a perfect person? Still he was bullied, maliously slandered that so many people were constantly and fiercely jealous to the point of killing him.

Brother you know I’m from the South as well & have a kin sense of the racism and bias on tv especially. You are spot on about these commercials. But it didn’t even hit me hit me until my now 15 yo son was just 8 or 9 looking at the news and he said momma why is it bad to be black or brown I don’t want to be black b/c all the reports on shootings and robberies are of black men. Then as much as I loved the Rarnest movies as a child my sons fave was Earnest goes to jail and one day my son asked again my way is it when Eatnest goes to jail are of the other inmates are mostly black men? Wow 😮 I knew then it was time to instill and fix this indoctrination that surrounds us. It even lead to a convo on the way to school when driving through the “hood” this was a juvenile detention center and the bus in route to the facility often. I told him it begins in school especially for black boys we’re they start attempting to single you out as what you will become. I told him that is not his story, but we still must be aware.
