I love your bright colors and am also drawn to bright and sparkly. You inspired me to start slow stitching and the needle case is my first project. I've worked on it constantly for the past few days and may get it finished today or tomorrow. Thank you for validating that things don't have to be matchy-matchy to be lovely! And thank you for sharing your process.
I absolutely LOVE your tutorials! You explain everything so well and this makes me really want to make one or more of these. I love your color choices too; makes me happy. Thank you so much for teaching us this project! I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!
Thank you so much - I am a total giggler!! Glad you enjoyed it and check out all the other slow stitching videos I have on here - I think I have a playlist of them :) Happy stitching!! ❤️
I enjoyed watching your tutorial. It was like visiting with a friend. I am inspired to make a needle case for each type of embroidery I do. That way I will know for sure where my needles are. It will be so much easier than rummaging through a box of sewing notions. Looking forward to my next video. Dewey from the Texas hill country.
I’m putting my goals for this project in writing: I’m going to make a taller one for my leather and beading needles. The cover will be designated to look like a Frankenstein novel…wish me luck! I’ll mKe a day of the dead theme one for my regular needles too.
I loved watching you stitching, its so therapeutic. I am intrigued by your scissors, i have arthritis in my hands and the scissors you use look as if they would be comfortable for me to handle, could you tell me the brand please. Pam
Thank you so much. The scissors were a wide handled soft touch micro tip by Fiskars but they discontinued them. I did buy 4 pairs though because they are the best! They must do a similar one in their range - I know they do snips x
Really pretty needlebooks, thank you for the tutorial. I love making needle books so now I've got to try one like this! It's like a little gem sitting next to you while you work ❤ One question, i think you said you were using a sashiko needle in the first video, the ones i have seem to be huge, like large darning needles, yours looks a more fitting size, so which brand and size is it please?
Thank you so much - glad you enjoyed it. It is a Clover Sashiko needle. I think the pack comes with different sizes. A chenille needle works well too ❤️
This is lovely. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to see you do the stitching down the centre, as this is the bit that is bugging me. But I do love the book
For you I will do a little extra video on the centre stitch :) I realised that I had not filmed that part when I came to edit 🤭. When I blanket stitch around the inner, I start in the middle of the piece and work round. When I get back to the top I then back stitch down the middle - just going through the felt underneath and not through to the front - today I will put up the extra video 🥰
I use any needle I can find that has a sharp point and an eye big enough to fit the thread through 🤣🥰. I have been buying a lot of Sashiko needles and chenille needles recently and I grab whatever fits :) 🥰
This is wonderful! I love your work! This is a lovely tutorial and you are a very good teacher!
Thank you so much!
I love it and I have never seen a button quite like that I really like it. And your style is quite lovely.
Thank you so much! ❤

@@KoolKookyKreatures thank you so much, I have some Clover ones, I'll check them 💜
When you stitched your felt "page" inside the book, did you stitch all the way through to the back side of the book? Love your work!
Hi there and thank you! No - I didn’t stitch right through. Just through the inner lining :) ☺️
This is lovely. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to see you do the stitching down the centre, as this is the bit that is bugging me. But I do love the book

I love the way you stitch, although I don´t understand what you say.
Haha sorry Rosie - try the captions and see if that helps! :) 🥰
Hi, love the needle book, so colorful. What size needles you use for stitching, besides the embroidery ones.
