Today I am showing you this tutorial on how to make a slow stitched cuff bracelet. This is Part 2 - go back to the last video to see part one.

I have also made a downloadable PDF to go along with this which includes dimensions of the fabrics and some optional appliqué pattern pieces. There is also a list of things you may want to add on there too.

I use a wool blend felt which has a high percentage of wool and I recommend that or a pure wool felt. Craft felt is not strong enough to hold all the stitches and may start to fall apart so I don’t recommend it in this project. If you do use acrylic felt then try to get the best quality you can.

OMG!!! I am so in love with these cuffs. I have so much fabric from my mask making days and I have everything else to make these too. The felt, the embroidery floss, beads and buttons and fabric. Before you even said you wanted to make a monochrome cuff, I said to my daughter I want to try an all black one. I'm so excited to get started but currently in the middle of another project. I love all of them but my favorite is the one with the cupcakes. Reminds me of a quilt. Thank you so much for sharing this technique.

I have been watching videos all week and you have won first Place. I have ordered your last postcard kit and the directions for the felt Owl. And am anxiously awaiting them. I would love to purchase a lime green bracelet kit and something like the burgundy..
I have always made and sold jewelry , knit hats and crocheted baskets etc. But times have changed and we can no longer do shows..I have not sewn for over 40 years so no scraps, but I love thrift stores so not a problem. I do embroidery and have done fun pillow cases , the kind with dancing sheep.. Because I can not walk to much plus will be having major back surgery next month I am going to be all prepared with slow stitching to keep me busy.

They are all beautiful but my favorite color is purple. I’d like to see one with indigo blues and some white stitching like in the Sashiko style.

I did have a thought for maybe a step saver?
I think I will save the blanket stitch around the outside edge for when I sew on the backing, using it to also sew on the backing.

I've only just seen this and i think they're all gorgeous!! My favourite would probably be green then purple then pink however I'm a patchworker and love all colours so orange red blue would all be fine too!!

I haven't started mine yet. I'm allergic to wool and was trying to think of what I could use as the backing. Luckily my son ripped a huge hole in his levis! Problem solved.
