Love these. Thank you for the kooky vid. I too have to keep my hands busy. Can not sit doing nothing. Nope nope nope... Be well and stay kooky and kolorful.
I have been a weaver for years. However weaving is definitely NOT a portable craft (7' and 4' looms). I am so happy I found this portable craft. You have given me so many ideas. Thank you!
Cute! Immediately thought I could add a letter (initial) somewhere in the design, and make one each for the younger grandkids. Thanks so much for showing the processes and creative ideas.
I am totally in love with your videos. I came across you by chance and haven't looked back. I adore fiddling with tiny scraps and have done a lot of crumb quilting as I can't bare to get rid of anything. I found looking at your luscious colours is very intoxicating and heavenly. I haven't been this excited about sewing for a long time. I too have lots of tiny notions and pretty things that make me smile, but I didn't know how to incorporate them into my sewing.......now I do😊. Thank you so much you don't realise how much joy you have brought me xxx
Diane you are so very welcome! I’m so pleased that you have found the videos entertaining and I love that you have felt inspired - this is what I love to do! I hope that you will stay for the journey as I have a lot of ideas to share :) 🥰
These little pin brooches are just the most gorgeous way to use up those little bits of things we end up with after stitching projects. Thank you so much for sharing such a cute project in a fun to watch video! 😍
I’m very happy I’ve found you. 😊 I’ve been ‘doodling with fabric’ for years but for the last few have been preoccupied with knitting socks for everyone I know. I think I’m about ‘socked out’ now! 😁 Watching this video has inspired me to dive into my fabric scrap box and start creating again. Thank you 🙏❤️
I started knitting socks a few years ago and just confessed to finding a WIP half a pair that I need to finish! I’m so pleased you have enjoyed the video 😍❤️
I was at a loose end waiting for a parcel so I thought let's watch your making pins , I have made a few off these now gone to good homes your sense of colours is lovely.🙂
I’ve seen them (pin) called “Kilt”pins. On Amazon. Thanks for all the work, instructions that you put out there for us to watch. They’re beautiful and very inspiring to start stitching on my own. Thanks again
I love your colour sense ... these are gorgeous thank you ❤ Would love a bundle of scraps but I live in Australia so not sure if you post internationally 🐨 🐾
Love these, but think I will make one for a scissor case idea I have cooking up in my brain 😊 the pins remind me of kilt pins 🤔 thanks for all the ideas ❤
This project looks like so much fun. Just received these pins from Amazon. Bought the bronze and they’re really nice. Pretty late here so I’ll give it a go tomorrow. Yours are gorgeous! Thank you for the tutorial. Can’t wait to make some! 💜😎🇺🇸

Sometimes I'm writing a comment in a YT video! Lol. You're a new channel for me. I was drawn to the bright colors and the small size, which is how I work (small, not necessarily bright).

Hi Kooky, I have only just found your channel. I’m like you I can’t just sit and watch tv. I crochet at night with sewing I feel I need to be a little more focused. I bought some of the safety pins a while ago I was thinking how I could decorate them so I could use them with my crochet shawls. Thanks for sharing your beautiful ideas. ❤❤
Hi Julie and welcome! I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video! Yes the pins would be great for that! I have started to take the pieces to make them around with me in a little tin so that I can stitch when I have a moment to spare. These are also great for fetes etc and to give away as gifts :). Have fun stitching 🥰❤️
I LOVE these!! I got some big kilt pins for some project, I can't remember what that was, but I think I'll make some of these babies, just a lil' bigger. I love very bright colors like you, so I love these.
Lovely project….you have so many fun and creative ideas! Love your “Extra” style and you give such good directions. Looking forward to trying this idea!
I must finish the book band (like Annie's) which I started today, then I will be on to the pins. Thank you so much for all the inspiration you give me. Now watching Annie!

@@KoolKookyKreatures yes! Last year on a cruise I worked on a placemat in the Kawandi quilt style which used fabric scraps and hand stitching. It was so relaxing. I sent the first one to a friend and she loves it.

controversial but I hate those clips for projects made with hand-stitching... the sewing yarns/threads get caught on them constantly ... what I do on projects like this is staple the fabric in place ... holds really well, doesn't catch on the threads and easy to remove if/when needed ... any holes are covered with stitches

what are the really shiny bits and bobs you need to really glitz up these brooches?
