You tend to use my favorite favorite colors…I am a newbie, but have finished two pieces..both inspired by YOU..of course mine tend to orange, LIME green, yellow and a touch of turquoise … You have been my inspiration and believe me I have watched hundreds of videos…but then I tend to be funky and love to add sequins.. THANK YOU
If you wanted to actually mail them, you can get 4 x 6 cello bags to protect them as they go through the post, you just have to stick your stamp on the outside of the bag so it can be cancelled by the posties. I've done it before and usually have no problem. And it's really fun to receive one in the mail!
Haha Sheila! I have always wished that one day I would become a time lord so I could fit everything into my day that I needed to 🤣. I’m so pleased you enjoy it 🥰❤️
Loved watching this, Im stuck "under the weather" today with an ear infection, it also is so hot here, today(and having a bit of a temperature does not help, ...nor does feeling sorry for myself, because I NEVER get sick😮). ..But pushing cool liquids, antibiotics, being quiet and watching you is great company, on sort of lonely day.( Even my cat deserted me!😢😂)... ..So thank you, and I bet you never know how many lives, that you touch with each video! ❤)
Oh Kathy - I do know that an ear infection is absolutely horrid!! I hope you feel better soon my lovely and I’m happy that my waffling chat and everything has helped in a small way. Many hugs and wishing a speedy recovery 🥰❤️
Hi Tori: I think they’re both fabulous! Fun, colorful and so creative! If you don’t give these away, I think they would look great in a fabric book. Thanks for sharing. 💜😎🇺🇸
Loved it Tori. Sorry, my phone kept losing signal - dropped out every time a camper can or caravan passed my window. I am now digging around in the stuff I brought with me. Watch this space!
Aww I love the idea of joining two and having pages inside. Been thinking of doing a little stitch journal, stitches I use when slow stitching, this would be so cute and pretty to have on my table beside me as I continue my stitch journey. Ok that’s me night sorted tonight. Must get on me art room is a bomb sight so need to organise and clean. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial and video, you make it look so easy too, I know it’s so not going to be when I try, still half the fun is the journey and learning along the way.
That is a fab idea Paula! You should see my studio right now - and I’m covered in glue (don’t ask!🤣). I’m sure you will make a beautiful postcard pieces - can’t wait to see :) 🥰
You may have said and i missed, it the glue stick a regular glue stick such as for paper or is it a fabric glue stick….being able to dab a bit of glue for the tiny pieces is a game changer. Great tip. Thank you!
Hi Leslie - it is a Bohin fabric glue made for quilters. Annie also got me another one and there are a couple more - search for fabric glue sticks in Google and you will get a few variations. Alternatively a Pritt stick ( just a little dab) will work well too :) 🥰❤️
They are all scraps from other projects. Some of them have been sent to me by lovely friends but a lot are from fabrics I’ve used. Quilting cottons, linen - recycled clothes :)
I love this!! You never cease to amaze me with your talent and ideas! Thank you for sharing! By the way, is that a regular glue stick you're using to tack the fabric pieces down? (Forgive me if you shared and I missed it...)
Thank you so much Natalie - I’m so pleased you enjoyed it 🥰. The glue stick is one by Bohin which is especially made for fabric. If that one is not available then if you search on Google there are a few that crop up. I think one is called Sewline. Both of them have refills that you can buy too :). 🥰❤️
You could stitch down one side or you could make a central fabric panel and join one to each side. I am about to load up a tutorial on book/journal making later this week which you may find interesting to watch :)
Hi, I have just started to watch your slow stitch postcard video, could you tell me please? What is the name of the fabric glue called, you are using. xx
Im new here and will subscribe momentarily but may i inquire as to that great glue stick? Im enjoying myself immensely by the way. Thank you for all your work for us to enjoy. Ohhhhh those pots with the flowers are so so adorable. Im so excited i can bearly type. And i have a toothache today so im not thinking normally either. Great lovely work.
Hello and welcome!! The glue stick is a refillable one by Bohin - a temporary fabric glue used by quilters in the main. There are other fabric glue sticks out there too and failing that a Pritt stick works as well :) I do hope you enjoy making some up 🥰❤️

I was just thinking... wouldn't it be fun to make 4 seasons cards. One for winter, one for spring...etc.
It would indeed :) x
❤❤❤
Thank you for watching 🥰
Sew glad you left the buttons off, they rarely add anything. Beautiful work, a real inspiration.
I do like a button occasionally but you are right - not for this one :) 🥰
This looks great fun to make, thank you for sharing ☺️ ❤️
I am so pleased you enjoyed it 🥰❤️
@@KoolKookyKreatures oh yes 😊❤️
Love it! I’ve just made a postcard sized slow stitch, but not with the felt. Your idea is much better, so I’ll try this next.

Completely enjoyable video. I cannot wait to get into my fabric box. Found you via Nina Ribena and so happy for the referral.
Hi Steph and welcome to the Magpie Womble brigade! So happy you enjoyed the video! 🥰❤️
Can i ask where you get your lovely bright fabrics from 😊
They are all scraps from other projects. Some of them have been sent to me by lovely friends but a lot are from fabrics I’ve used. Quilting cottons, linen - recycled clothes :)

Hi Tori what size are the postcards? They r beautiful - warm regards Rhonda
Hi Rhonda - they are 4” x 6” :) 🥰❤️
Could you print the names of the two glue sticks that you mentioned? Bohin? And another one?
Stix2 and Sewline also do fabric glue sticks :)
How would you connect them to make a book or folder?
You could stitch down one side or you could make a central fabric panel and join one to each side. I am about to load up a tutorial on book/journal making later this week which you may find interesting to watch :)
Hi, I have just started to watch your slow stitch postcard video, could you tell me please? What is the name of the fabric glue called, you are using. xx
It is a Bohin temporary fabric glue stick used by quilters but any fabric glue stick would work :). I believe Hemline also do one 🥰
Im new here and will subscribe momentarily but may i inquire as to that great glue stick? Im enjoying myself immensely by the way. Thank you for all your work for us to enjoy. can these be mounted onto a frame to hang on a wall?
They certainly can - I have a few :) ☺️
