25 minutes of pleasurable entertainment, articulately presented and expertly filmed. You absolutely deserve 200k subs Claire, I watched you when you only had a few thousand, not that long ago either. You're one of the reasons I rarely watch tv these days, so many excellent UA-camrs. Please keep it up.

I'm interested in your Hilleberg tent. I'm real old school and camp using an old Vango Force 10. All cotton, stays up in anything and always keeps the weather out. Warm in winter too. But heavy. Not too big an issue as I generally canoe camp.
I am thinking about a roomier tent though.
Do you get any condensation on the inner of the Hille. Dies it always keep the weather out?

I'm 41 years old now and since the age of 17 I have not been able to leave my very small town. All this to say that if it wasn't for my mental health conditions, this is the type of life I would have loved to have had and I'm so thankful for creators like yourself that give me a chance to experience in a small way what it is that I've been missing for most of my life.

Hi 👋, what a great experience, I remember to many years ago, going swimming, skinny dipping, and the dishes, gravel pits near, where are used to live, it was very very dangerous, who is the slide down the embankment into the water , even in the height of summer was extremely cold, and I have been there in a traffic thunderstorm, like you, just sitting, laying in the water, watching and listening to the rain hit the water,
These beautiful memories that you have experienced stay with you for the rest of your life, and this one sure thing that nobody can take them away from you , so live free enjoy the moment, and stay safe, Phil from the moulin France

@@WildBeare Hi 👋, sorry about the spelling. I’ve just read back what I have written earlier, my spelling is not very good, but I’ll make up for it with my hands, I am a specialist joiner cabinet maker, that sounds terrific , not traffic, you dozy idiot idiot 😜.
Back to Thunderstorm ⛈️, back in 2013 my ex and I purchased an old Mill moulin , in part of rural France, and we purchased a large caravan, 7 m approximately in length, we have been woken up in the middle of the night. With terrific thunderstorms, I’ve got it right that time., to say the caravan shook was put on an understatement, even the glasses in the cabinet shook , and this year now live in in the moulin find myself I might head, I have even known the building to shake with the storms, and last year, I had hailstones so big, they came through the roof,
I’m very lucky in some respect , NOT WITH LOVE, but that’s another story, but I have a river/stream that runs through my property, which I can hear all the time as my building sits on it, even people from the village and around the area come down the lane near to my property and they go bathing in the river, only problem is sometimes there is cows in the river, a bit further upstream oh poop, 😜😂, Stay Safe, I look forward to your next adventure, Phil from the moulin France,

He was a major in the RAF. There is a very good chance he may have know some of the men who died. The beauty you bring us from England is just stunning! So sorry to hear that, it can be such an awful disease. I got more than 40 bites in one day year before last, and I've been hospitalised in the past with some awful infection after bites. That was over a decade ago though before I knew about Lyme, I had 6 weeks of antibiotics for whatever it was. I use Permethrin on my hiking clothes & socks now, the only thing that has worked for me, although still constantly have to check any bare skin of course. I hope your sister is doing ok despite the circumstances 💚

Happiness is The Gap Between Expectations and Reality. There are two ways to be happy: improve your reality, or lower your expectations. You improve your reality with every outing. Your videos are a pleasure to watch, and every video of yours I watch I remember how you first started out. You've come so far and you are such a stronger person. You are amazing, namaste.

Thank you, Claire! You bring such joy to all of us!
I enjoyed this outing and your musings about expectations. You are spot on!
As usual, your sense of humor is so entertaining! When the flock got a striptease show and poor Gerald 😳 was admonished for watching…so funny!

Been watching your vids for awhile now, your video editing is getting great you can really see and feel the change from your earlier vids, well done. Love the vibe and humour in the vids. For someone who is wheelchair bound it’s great to see and feel what these trips are like. ❤

Another gorgeous video, thanks for bringing us along on these little adventures. Apparently the aeroplane is a Lancaster that crashed on a training mission, they managed to find all but 2 of the crew so their resting place is up there in that wild place.

Thanks for the info. I wondered what type of aircraft it would be, especially with a crew that size.

I love how you become one with where you are and how you take time to express with gratitude and humility, at the end (and actually during), how you were gifted during your stay. Your heart is no less beautiful than the nature you share

Claire, I’m so glad I’ve discovered your channel. My mom’s mom was from Colwyn Bay (her dad was from Lancashire - they came here to Canada to serve in the Canadian military in WWI). She died when I was quite young, so I never really knew her, but in watching your videos of the Welsh countryside, I somehow feel closer to her. My wife and I have a lengthy list of places we want to hike (we did the Tour de Mont Blanc last summer), but I think Wales is now added to the list. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
