Very Nice Job! I am glad you talk slowly so People can understand your process. Excellent steps to take in doing wheels! A+++
FINALLY a correction video with a sandblaster. Thanks for the upload and easy to follow directions.
YOOO.... the center cap trick is genius. I always wondered about getting my OEM caps to match the wheel color finish from painting.
Before I used to tape them easy could take me 1 hour taping them and then they didn't look professional at all.

Nice work!
Thanks for the comment 👍
thanks for the vid. For bolt holes it better to cover surface where nut meets rim surface, because if its part of the paint its going to crack and can cause corrosion and more damage
hey thanks for the comment, but would you be so kind to explain better I'm curious.
@@kennycharneca1 Hey sure, if you cover bolt holes with masking tape it will not be the part of one finish, so when you put wheels on a car bolts will crack paint, and knowing cracks they can extend like on the windshield. if you tape up holes for bolts so there is no thick paint. Once paint gets hard overtime its easier to damage it when tightening bolts. So it leaves this kind of weak spot to potentially start braking chunks of the finish in the long run.
You can watch AMMONYC giving his rims to paint shop they have done that there
@@apesintanks162 good point of view I do the everyday and didn't notice something like this is a customer comes back I will take a look at this
@@kennycharneca1 just a suggestion, I can see you like to do a clean work, though I'd share and it might be useful to you. Cheers.
@@apesintanks162 you the best but I still have the doubts if I don't paint the lug hole so how you cover from corrosion??
What's the name of the base paint, and where can I buy it?
Looks great, you're too humble lol
Excellent work! just out of curiosity, how much did your customer pay for that? I wanted to make a a rough idea.
I charged him $200 for the labor but I've found out that's really cheap so I'm charging $300 now.
$400 is what they charge here you did a great job.
@@davidsimmons4491Might as well get new RIMS for that amount
How do you remove the old paint job?
Normally I just sand until I feel is smooth then I use non sandable sealer/ paint / clear
Nice and cheap
DiY life !! 💪💪
