If I remember correctly, this video came out just after release of the 'Army of Anyone' album before Ray was announced as Korn drummer. Maybe he was practicing his audition for Korn!
Ray played for David Lee Roth also.
Hey, if you're interested in more Ray Luzier, I've got one for you - from his time with Army of Anyone, their single 'Goodbye'. The group is Ray, with Richard Patrick(Filter) on vocals, and Robert & Dean DeLeo(Stone Temple Pilots) on strings; they put out one solid album with a decently successful single, then the other 3 went back to their previous bands and Ray went to play with Korn.
This song may have the last great drum solo/outro to hit radio, and the cymbal work in the chorus - Ray really does have his own signature style!

David Silveria was KoRn's original drummer, he was alright, not great, and he wasn't near Ray's level of amazingness.

@@JasonSayersDrums He has done some drum clinics, and there is youtube, drum-cam footage during a live version of Straight Out Of Line(Godsmack song naturally). He was also drummer with Ugly Kid Joe. Im a frustrated drummer mice elf so i love all these guys.I bang on but Tim Yueng i another killer skinsman.
