Great list. I feel like Limp Bizkit should have taken a cue from Alter Bridge and ditch Durst for a better vocalist to go in a different direction after their initial success faded.

@4:20 I think his stick breaking gave the song a nice breath❤with the bass drum coming through more. It really prepped and reinforced the lead singer’s climax; pounding home the point. 🥁🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🎸🎧

Hi all, due to the very sad recent loss of my father we have his slingerland 5 piece kit. The kit comes with everything needed to just set up and play. Ride cymbal and two crash, with paiste crinckle edge high hats. I am based in york and are looking for around £1500 for the whole kit. Its in white. I have pics of kit and serial number from illanoi. Saw him during his week long residency with the Buddy Rich Big Band just before Covid struck .. Ronnie Scott’s Club. I don’t think any other rock drummer could have pulled off what he did that night. Amazing. So many great moments. Fav was .. Pick up the pieces by The Average White Band. He smashed a stick, shouted out , grabbed a new one then immediately pulled off one of the best fills I’ve ever heard. Before one of the big band standards he got out a piece of paper with some notes on it .. reminders. He held it up and said .. “This stuff’s complicated you know” .. at which point a guy in the audience sang out the riff to Smoke on the Water. Ian led the laughter from the whole room. 😀 Saw him with Purple in 1972. Still the best gig of my life .. and with Paice Ashton Lord in 1978 .. Glasgow Apollo. At that gig after his solo the crowd stood up cheering and wouldn’t stop . Eventually Tony shouted “Shut the fuck up and sit down”

Ive been trying to find what snare and snare head he used for the final countdown tour. Looks like a 14×6/6.5 something. Probably a tama snare like the rest of his drums. Either a granstar or something else idk

Yea Jasons awesome man.I got the DVD he put out.When I stopped playing drums for a while and got back into it I got his DVD.Practicing the stuff on that Dvd helped me get back to where I was when I stopped.
