Talking through the decades, Vedder explains his evolution from rock fan to participant in the music, to one of the leading voices in rock and roll. He explains his excitement about ‘Earthling,’ an album that took careful curation and extreme attention to detail to execute. Eddie Vedder is a great human being and a artist. He is my living inspiration. This man have inspired me a lot to become what i'am today. I wish i could spend atleast few minutes with him in my lifetime. It seems impossible as i'am just a simple farmer from a small underdeveloped country. I believe Eddie would be happy to know how he inspired a frustrated young boy to become a farmer who is working, struggling everyday to aware, encourage and help people to plant more trees and fix the soil..
Call me crazy but I hope to meet Eddie in my farm one day. I never stop trying and believing.

Your comment brought tears to my eyes. It's a beautiful image you painted and a beautiful thing you do. I relate to what you mean in the sense that I wish I had a few minutes with him just to say thank you, because he will never know how many "small" lives, I mean people he would never know of, he actually made better without being directly in our lives.

I think of all the Chili Peppers, Chad probably had the most natural chemistry with Josh and it's heartwarming they can still utilize it. Feasting on the Flowers is a good example of that chemistry as that was a song that originated with the two of them writing the structure together.

From personal tragedies to collective tragedies, we should all strive to be the best versions of ourselves individually & collectively before it’s too late. We all walk the long road. Ed’s a dragon, 1964 & that fire inside will always burn. We all have been gifted a lot from Ed, PJam & all their side projects. Great vibes from all these earthlings.

Great interview! I always hear fans who may not have connected with certain albums suggest that they should take their time with the next album. I don’t think they realize how spontaneous some of the best music is. It’s all about catching the lightning. Some of the greatest songs were written in under an hour and some of the best albums under a week. Comfortably Numb being written at the Spectrum blows my mind. Good stuff. Seems like everyone has been re-energized.

The Stones wrote words on strips of paper and threw them in a pile and managed to put their songs together. They did not live in England at the time.
