Indeed, we decided to include them as they were gone for a decade. So yeah, we stretched that one a bit. The main takeaway is that fan support can work to revive a dead product! Good feedback and knowledge! thanks

Yeah they sell those down the street in my hometown to at the local Farmers Market. I tend to avoid them because if you eat a box you can potentially put yourself into a diabetic coma. They are SUPER TART but delicious. Always eat snacks in moderation.😋🤣
I mean where's the lie in their statement? I remember growing up in the 80s some of my favorite foods were nothing remotely healthy, just sugar loaded crap that tasted great but had less nutritional value then a bowl of oatmeal 😂
I'm still surprised that those Philly Cheescake snack bars died. Not only were they pretty freakin amazing, I remember them being quite popular. Since Taco Bell is all over this list, also gotta mention the caramel apple empenada. Easily my favorite drive-thru dessert.
Those cheesecake bars were so good! My mom use to get them and had to hide them. But those Carmel Apple Empanadas were incredible! I’m so shocked they ever got rid of them.
The only thing I can attribute it to is that they were refrigerated. And that space in the store is extremely competitive and expensive. If people forgot about them for any length of time, they would be gone and I can only assume that is what happened. Because they were really good and were very popular at least for a while after coming out
Back in the early 90s, I worked at McDonald's. They had chicken fajitas, and the entire time I worked there, that was the only thing I'd eat when I went on my breaks. I got sick of the smell of fries and burgers, but that chicken fajita never got old. I miss them.
The Captain Crunch Choco-Donuts were my absolute favorite cereal when I was a kid. I remember being so heartbroken when I went to the grocery store with my parents, and they were no longer being stocked. I remember a little bit after that my grandma got me a box of the chocolate flavored Lucky charms, and it was so disgusting. She instantly returned them somehow. One day I plan on, heading to the largest McDonald’s still serve as the Mcpizza and trying it for myself.
At least the chicken fries from Burger King is still around to this day. BTW, the McPizza can still only be found in the largest McDonald's in Orlando, FL, while the rest of the McDonald's locations have been discontinued over the past years.
Doritos used to have a flavor called Taco Bell Supreme in the 90’s. It was the best flavor ever. It’s not the same as the Taco flavor they have now either. Also, the first flavors of Gatorade Frost included a greenish one called Whitewater Splash that was the best. Would love both of these back ASAP!
They brought back Oreo Cakesters recently but I do wish they would bring back the Philadelphia Cheesecakes. Those were so good. I can still taste them. And speaking of discontinued cereal, they discontinued Alpha-Bits cereal in 2021. Didn't know they were gone until now.
I wish they'd bring back the Mexi-Melts. For the longest, every time I went to Taco Bell, it's always get 2 Mexi-Melts and a Grilled Stuffed Burrito. Then they discontinued the Mexi-Melts and ended up also removing the Grilled Stuffed Burrito as well. The Mexi-Melts were like my favorite item they had on the menu for being one of the simplest items they had.
Taco Bell has been making very questionable decisions lately. Wings, discontinuing quesaritos, making grilled cheese burritos permanent, bringing back beefy crunch burrito instead of cool ranch dorito tacos (while beefy melt burrito already exists), cheesy gordita crunch is gone at most of the taco bells near me. I’m a little spiteful if you couldn’t tell lol. Glad to hear they’re doing something right though :)
@@xXsnak3bit3Xx To be fair...the grilled cheese burrito is pretty damn good (when I finally managed to get one) The first time I tried to order one, I had to tell the employee at the register that I wanted the "Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito" 4 or 5 times, even pointing to the menu board over the register where the Grilled Cheese Burrito was taking up a full display panel because it was a new item. She was looking everywhere else acting like she didn't understand what I was asking. Even when the manager came up, he didn't seem to understand what I wanted and was treating me like the item just didn't exist. He told me "We have something like that but with steak in the middle" (Steak Grilled Cheese was an option) so I ordered that instead. My mistake in the end was I told the cashier that I wanted classic steak option, not the spicy option. She apparently only heard "classic" and instead of what I was wanting, she rang me up for a "classic burrito combo". I managed to actually get a Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito a couple weeks back and it was pretty good all be it a little messy.
Excellent video! Thanks for bringing back so many great memories. I always love seeing videos on food from the past! Choco Donuts and Magic Middles are the two items that I would want to bring back the most!
The one I miss the most was Mug O' Lunch from the 70s. I used to eat the spaghetti one practically every day. I was heartbroken when Betty Crocker stopped making them.
The mini chicken/steak quesadillas at taco bell on the dollar menu were a crazy deal. Had a ton of the chopotle sauce and came in tin foil nice and warm. Like an extra thick quesadilla for half or a quarter of the price.
I miss McDonald’s Southwest Chicken Sandwich.. I was so hooked on that sandwich… half of the items mentioned I never heard of and I was born in the 70s.. probably because most are American items or weren’t here in Canada.. either that or my parents never introduced me to such things lol…
Their southern style chicken sandwich and fried honey mustard chicken wraps were my favorites 😭 they need more options or to bring some stuff back tbh. The Big Mac, fries, and nuggets are pretty much the only lifelines they have while the other stuff you get bored of real quick.
I was working at McDonald's when the McRib and McRib Jr's came out. One night, I was so hungry I got 5 Jr's and 3 medium frys. I will never regret it. Thankfully me and my family figured out how to make them😋
Fruity Marshmallow Rice Krispies (not Rice Krispies Treats cereal), Cookies and Cream Twix (They did rerelease them about 5 or 6 years ago, but with a more gooey, less tasty cream filling. The original was like oreo cookie filling and it was amazing), Taco Bell Grilled Stuffed Burritos, and Jenni-O/Festive turkey roast (they were processed, but an absolute staple growing up and into my mid 30s).
The Foods I Absolutely missed Throughout the Years are Ice Cream Cones Cereal, Cheetos Twisted, Dairy Queen Breeze, Taco Bell's Volcano Burrito, Kellogg's Yogos, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cereal, Cap'n Crunch's Choco Donuts Cereal, Bell Beefer and Enchirito.
Cakestars are back though... right? I literally had some this month, a local store is selling ones still around expiry date within a few weeks, and that means they must be from at oldest last year.
Please bring back Keebler Pizzarias. There's no other snacks that taste even close to them. They were so delicious because they were made with real pizza dough.
Disappointed to see fruit jammers from sunbelt not even mentioned. Was a highlight of my lunches from home as a kid and I’ve yet to find any fruit snacks today that even come close to them
I want every one of these to come back. Haven’t tried them all, but some of these look really good and probably should have never been taken off the market in the first place
0:38 I bought Oreo cakesters just as recently at Target grocery, werent available at Albertsons snack cookies area. Oreo had it on their website/Instagram it was available for over a year now.
Even though it not officially discontinued, Banana pudding ceral I was heart broken when my mom told me that she couldn't find in anyway in store, and they never officially discontinued it
Cakesters are still available, nestle drumsticks have ice creaam cone cereal available now, and the Volcano menu has been beack for the past month or so by my work. The s'mores crunch is being made by Kellogg's right now.
Whole Foods once sold Peanut Braised Tofu in the deli lunch section i ate it often the flavor was different from jars of the sauce i havent been able to figure out the recipe but that was back in 2000- 2003
I really want to try the Philadelphia cheesecake snack bars! I hope they bring it back it looks good. Awesome so glad you guys mentioned the Hershey's Swoops & the Bites.. these were both like my favourite while they were out especially the Reese's the Reese's circle bites and s5woops holy moly they were good! Nobody talks about them anymore /nobody remembers them it seems like, I hope they come back too.
A similar item to Shakem Up fries exists at McDonald's in Japan. I lived there from 2016 to 2020. I was an English teacher in Japan. They had different flavors. I don't remember the Japanese name for them.
I miss the Mexi-Melts. They were soo good and so cheap for being just a simple small burrito with a bit of seasoned meat, cheese, and lettuce (if I recall correctly). They were like my favorite menu item. Any time I went to Taco Bell, I'd always get two as a side along with whatever else I was ordering...usually a grilled stuffed burrito until they stopped making those too.
I swear, I never knew that the twisted Cheeto puffs were discontinued until I got older in the next decade. I used to have those during my elementary school years and I found out they were thicker than the regular ones. Other than that, I still missed eating that snack.
A comment: Don't do that, it ruins the whole purpose of the video. And...A question: How is it that your comment is 3 weeks old yet the video came out 12 days ago?
Cakesters are still out, I know they changed the recipe but they are still out. My 17 year old daughter loves to get them every once in awhile. Also mcrib is coming back to participating McDonalds soon. I work at one of our local ones lol
They still make and sell oreo cakes terse. I just had a whole box last month! I've been able to buy them from my local convenience store for at least the last decade consistently.
I don't remember most of these at all (and I'm old enough to) so for the most part I don't think these will be missed all that much, except by the faithful few. I did really like the Mc Pizza though. However, I can remember other things from both restaurants and groceries that have been discontinued that I really miss. I think everybody has those.

I don't remember most of these at all (and I'm old enough to) so for the most part I don't think these will be missed all that much, except by the faithful few. I did really like the Mc Pizza though.
