The fact first clip was of Peter Griffin says a lot about this list
Why was the baby strawberry crying?
Because her parents were in a jam.
@@Funny.man101 you are not funny
@@Funny.man101failure at life.
Crystal Pepsi God I Miss You.
Bubble jugs were amazing and I will die on that hill
Cheez Wiz is sold like crazy here in Canada. In fact my wife’s family owned a burger stand where they used it for the cheese on burgers. Went through it by the pallet load, stand still going strong and still using Cheez Wiz
*That 💩 works on sooooo many things.* 👨🏾🍳
#JustSayin 🙃 😋
As a Canadian, I am surprised by your claim of cheez wiz popularity.
As a Canadian grocery store owner, I am also surprised by your claim. 😆
@@richardc8795 where do you live. It’s popular in northwestern Ontario and MB.
@@kanoraguy Southern Ontario. I assume you are in a rural area. That makes more sense.
@@richardc8795 ahh the typical southern Ontario arrogance. I may have grown up in rural northwestern Ontario, Kenora if you can think past Barrie, live in Winnipeg now but I’m sure to a southern Ontario person you still consider that rural
Why Crystal Pepsi keeps failing is beyond me. It taste so good & the fact that it's clear makes it unique. 🥤🤷🏿♂️
I loved Crystal Pepsi
@@karmabum21 I always thought the 2015 version had a hint of lemon to it
@@Jesseface94 I didn't even know it came back in 2015. I drank it in the 90's
I liked crystal Pepsi
I want Crystal Pepsi!!
Im a child of the 80s. Candy cigs and chocolate cigs were around too. Licorice cigars were around too.
Indeed they were. There was also at one point, in the late 70's, a sweet that looked like and came in packet the same as hand-rolling tobacco.
As a smoker, can I sue the candy company for early enticement? 😂😂😂
@@soupdragonuk Big League Chew still exists and its whole schtick is looking like a pouch of chewing tobacco.
There was also this weird gum cigarette that if you blew into it, there was enough space to make the sugar powder come out like smoke lol
I only recall the chalky tasting candy cigarettes. I tried the coffee flavored potato chips, not fond of them.
Cheddar bacon macaroni and cheese flavored chips from Lays? That sounds pretty good actually!
The Hubba Bubba Jug was great
The way I would pour that jug directly into my mouth 😂
Agreed, what the hell are they talking about? No kid would complain about that. It was fun and different, just like the bubble tape.
Swedish Fish Oreo are words that don't belong together.
Coke ain't Coke if it don't sting and tickle at the same time.
Coke first came out with Mello Yello to compete with Mt. Dew. But Mello Yello is still around.
"Mountain Dew introduced their Code Red flavour. When Pepsi saw that..." Mountain Dew IS Pepsi!
This channel is a joke anymore.
The south never likes it when people mess with our formulas. I’m also 28 and remember some of these. Nostalgia is real
I've tasted the Peanut Butter & Jelly Soda flavor years ago & shared it with my family. We we're lucky that stomachs didn't curdle after that.
OMG, which states had that.
@@cocoaorange1 Baltimore.
I used to freebase TMNT pies as a kid! They were awesome
I think Ayds should be on the list. Ayds is the dietery candy.
WatchMojo did a video on that before, it wasn’t a fail due to marketing, but unfortunate circumstances. It was doing well before the 80’s, then came the disease with a similar sounding name, though spelled differently. If not for the disease, then the candy might’ve lasted longer, maybe up to now even. So that candy really doesn’t belong here.
Unlucky because of its name. History can be so weird.
Yummy
Not a good name though.
@@whitewolf3051 So does anyone know why it was so effective as a dieting "ayd"? It was laced with lidocaine, which numbed your tongue and made food less appealing. No kidding, that's true, look it up.
Remember SNL's version of Crystal Pepsi called Crystal Gravy?
Haha yes! That bit almost made me nauseous.
Is that Sean Hayes in the dorito 3d commercial?
Yessir
In deed it was
My middle school lunchroom was littered with Surge cans. Never would be allowed in schools today.
I heard it killed sperm cells and shrank your sac so I stopped drinking it
Not really true. They still have mountain dew, and it's basically the same thing.
Mello Yello already existed. The same type of citrus beverage made by Coca-Cola, but not as popular as Mountain Dew.
@@arvurebantra7639j not even close
Wasn't allowed in mine back in the day. :(
want to bet that the ghostbuster key lime slime were just repackaged Shrek Twinkies? I had the ones with the Marshmellow stuff in it that was also with the promotion it felt kind of rubbery
“Get your recipes together man! I’ve had the same fries since I was Willard Scott the weatherman!” Ronald McDonald
The original 3D doritos were great! The ones they brought back were garbage and were nothing but bugles
Yep the taste and texture were completely different.
The original 3D Doritos were just a cheesy flavored Bugle.
They were a different texture Duke. They phoned it in for the comeback
“Once Pepsi learned about mountain dew red” Mountain Dew is literally owned by Pepsi..
I LOVED 3D doritos!
Ironically and hilariously Surge was better than mountain dew.
Much better
Jolt?
damn right
I'm not here for any 3d Doritos slander. Also, cheese whiz is still available or am I crazy?
Got a jar in my fridge right now! But then, I live in Canada.
@@danieledugre1837 I'm in the US (new england). It's in my fridge, too.
This person never had turtle pie obviously. They were amazing
Thank you!
My friends and I all loved them. They were fantastic.
the maxwell one was just ahead of it's time because cold canned coffee is selling really well which that maxwell thing pretty much was and really using movie tied in product as a fali because of it short run when it was always going to be short and they didn't taste bad at all it just food coloring
3D doritos were great
When I was younger, Shake Em Fries were the shit! My sister and I would always beg our mom to take us to BK. We also liked the EZ Squirt Ketchup, green and red burgers and fries were just so funny. We also had a butter from Parkay that was different colors too, that just made making a plate of food so fun as a kid.
Honestly, when they brought back New Coke as a limited edition collectors item for Stranger Things Season 2, I managed to snag some and tried it. It honestly just tasted virtually indistinguishable from Pepsi. Considering everyone saying they preferred Pepsi in blind taste tests, I guess that's probably what they were going for.
The ironic part is Pepsi blue came back out around near when corona hit and I grabbed a case around Christmas time
no it hit in 2020 and blue came back in 21
I didn't realize Sean Hayes was in the 3D Doritos commercial
The TMNT pies were awesome and many 80s and 90s kids have fond memories of them. The green frosting on the pie what is the main selling point. Guess this is what happens when you get some gen z idiots to write your videos.
10:25 bubble jug was AMAZING! maybe that's what's wrong with me lol
Pepsi Blue was my favorite especially when ice cold
I was a kid with a very health zealous parent when Pepsi Blue dropped. Thank God for that brief re-release it had and I got to try it. It was great!
@@FFP_BF2
It was still really good when it was released again, but it wasn't as good as when it first came out
I bought a bottle of Tru Blood when it came out and still have it unopened and displayed on my shelf. I think it looks cool as a prop
Same!
Pepsi blue was amazing
Right!! 💪🏾💙
The worst thing to happen to Coka Cola was putting it into plastic. Two liter plastic bottles changes the flavor...and not in a good way. I will only buy Coke in cans. If I can find bottles I will buy those.
Amen sister, I've been saying this for years and people constantly tell me it's in my head and they can't taste the difference.
Totally agree with you!
I only buy Cokes in 12 oz bottles.
I won’t drink it from anything else.
I memba the candy cigs. Perfect Halloween accessory for your everyday cowboy
I *LOVED* the Cappuccino chips and enjoyed them for as much as I could for when they were available.
I still have my True Blood bottles!
Same! But we only have one.
I actually loved Crystal Pepsi, it was soda that I could drink without the guilt. When it first came out, I was in my last year of high school, and everyday afterschool, my best friend and me would go to our favorite neighborhood store and I would buy my favorite candy bar and a crystal pepsi, boy those were the days!!
I grew up with a healthy dose of candy cigarettes, and big league chew. Though I have never smoked a single cigarette my entire life. Though it likely led to a sugar addiction! 😆
Now they have sour patch kids oreos the way oreo still makes things like this is interesting but a great way to get hype
Oreo does stuff like that and weirder just for fun🤦♀️
They did Sourpatch Kids too! This list is dumb
I actually have tried those before and they were not good at all .
Everyone I knew loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pies when I was a kid. They were just vanilla pies coated in a green glaze.
If Cheerwine is any indication, Cough syrup isn't a dealbreaker for everyone! XP
I saw the candy cigarettes in the thumbnail and was going what the? I know people that grew up with those way back when and loved them, yet never picked up an actual cigarette.
since covid, Diet soda went away and the "zero sugar" crap that replaced it tastes like gasoline and turpentine. even more so than regular coke and Pepsi, it's foul.
Diet soda hasn't gone away at all - they sell it right next to the Zero Sugar stuff! No idea what the actual difference is since the ingredients are the same, but I know people that will fight you over Diet Coke and Coke Zero tasting completely different (spoiler: they don't).
@@MarkZickefoose At most stores, the good diet soda is gone. Diet Root Beer, Diet Dr Pepper Cherry Vanilla, either way, coke and Pepsi diet or zero all taste like gasoline and turpentine.
Wtf does axel grease taste like? Which we use it on the farm sometimes but never been like damn i wanna taste that lol.Or did he mean Axl Roses sweat😂
2016 "Ghostbusters" weren't Ghostbusters, they were Gherstbersters.
When I was a kid candy cigarettes were wrapped and had powered sugar in them that you could blow out like smoke. The 80’s were awesome.
YES!! I’m looking at these boring cigs like where’s the smoke 😂😂
Candy cigarettes are sold at my workplace
You have not lived until you've had some Tayto chocolate!
Love your videos, your channels are one I run to watch.
I have family who insist the only cheese for a Philly cheesesteak is Cheez wiz. I prefer provolone but Cheeze wiz is still loved by some.
At least one of the places that claims to have INVENTED the cheesesteak puts Cheez Wiz on their sandwiches.
I definitely remember lays cappuccino chips I was 14 years old when it came out 😅
You say early 2000’s for energy drinks but in 2024 Red Bull and Monster sold over $22b in sales and it’s only June
Does this include merch and events they do?
@@johnnyjuniorrodriguez3745 No this was just sales of the drinks
I mean right or wrong candy cigarettes have been around for over a hundred years so I couldn't consider that a fail. 3d Doritos like you said came back in 2020. Their popular enough for Frito-Lay to bring back so again not a fail. When Pepsi saw the success of Mountain Dew Code Red they had to make their own. Um Frito-Lay owns Pepsi and mountain Dew duh. Considering the cappuccino potato chips or a part of Frito-Lay's vote your flavor it just didn't win so I wouldn't consider that a fail.
The OG Doritos 3D was where it was AT!
The new ones were trash!
And Pepsi Blue was plenty popular... that wasn't a fail at all...
And the Cappuccino Lays were supposed to be for fun, this list is making them too serious.
None of the Do US a Flavor Lays have stayed on shelves... even the winners...
The product I remember the most is New Coke. It was horrible
The Ninja Turtles Pies were AWESOME!!!!!
Fun Fact: Before Tenacious D was a thing, a young Kyle Glass appeared in the 7Up Gold commercial.
I basically came here for New Coke.
The new coke controversy allowed Coca-Cola to switch to corn syrup sweetener once it switched back, and that saved the company millions.
That spider at the end was a jump scare that I was not ready for
TMNT pies have no business being on this list, those were beloved by every single kid who grew up in the 80s and 90s
😂😂😂😂 I gave Pepsi Blue as Christmas gifts one year. I won them through a radio contest... oh the good ol days 😂😂😂😂
The thing I remember most about Pepsi Blue is the odd carbonation. It seemed more bubbly than other soft drinks, and not in a good way. May have just been my experience, IDK.
As a Brit, I miss Walkers Crisps where you add the salt and shake em' up. This opened up options to unseasoned chips to add whatever you wanted. Paprika was my go to.
Smiths salt & Shake, now owned and made by walkers which are still available.
I loved candy cigarettes. You could blow powder out of the tip that mimicked smoke.
10:32 Hubble bubble jug was my favorite 😂
I remember loving Shake em Up fries and being all puzzled when it disappeared
I remember the sweetish fish Oreos oh my God they were so bad
I've never tried it before
Actually the Coca-Cola coffee drink is still around. And delicious. Plus it seems u guys are turned off by food coloring
How are candy cigarettes a fail? Something that lasts for decades is hardly a fail. But then WatchMojo fails at a lot of their lists.
They are still available. I can get them at the local candy store
I loved Surge which I was a teen then they finally brought Mell . 66 gvg6 g66y😢o Yello back or at least here in Kentucky which I loved also so Mello Yello took back over. Ski is back here in Kentucky which it never went anywhere except small gas stations but now it's in 12 packs on the shelves at kroger. Which it might be a more country southern drink like Ale8 One is which I think they dropped the one I've never paid attention to my bottles. Oh wait just looked at a new summer flavor and the 1 is still there just very small. But Kentucky Headhunters sing about Ski in there song Dumas Walker😂
Honestly I hate it when they put Sour Patch Kids flavor in Go-Gurt and Oreo!!!! It doesn't go very well!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
The Turtle pies were not a failure, they were awesome. The green color just scared parents.
Loved surge.
Fifty years ago an Australian television comedy show, The Aunty Jack Show, included a segment in which one of the characters advertised a product known as "Captain Curd's Fish Milkshakes". Since then life has imitated art.
Cappuccino and Wasabi Ginger flavored chips? What crazy flavor will they come up with next?
ruffles had chicken and waffles flavored
Dont pay attention to Neanderthal English
They have so many weird flavors like they had a limited edition flavor that was biscuits and gravy
ewww cappppunio!
Dont pay any attention to Neanderthal English
Pepsi Kona. Bought one six pack in 1997 as where I went to college was a test market.
Never would eat swedish Fish Oreos
I was a kid when they did the burger King shake fries and the coloured ketchup and honestly loved them both.
Cheez Whiz ... now with less Cheez and more Whiz!
I miss Surge, that and All Sport
I miss surge as well
I bought a box of candy cigs recently at the IGA in Rittman, OH.
Not gonna lie the TMNT pies were actually pretty good.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles pudding pies were quite popular. and sold very well hardly a failure.
I remember having one sip of Coca Cola Blk and throwing the whole 12 pk away
Can you do Top 100 Worst TV Shows, please?
The Hubba Bubba Bubble Jug was my favorite as a kid.
I've had some of these and they were great 👍
I had surge one time in my life. Never again. Way too much sugar
I thought new Coke was surely number 1
I loved the turtle pies!
Who's making these lists? They clearly are under 21 and never experienced any of these themselves
3:40 I actually really love that they SHOWED YOU that it could be hot, use a kitchen towel or something before handling 😂, you don’t see that these days LOL
10:36 the bubble gum jug! 😍
18:00 crystal Pepsi wasn’t that bad. When they brought it back for a while less than ten years ago I tried it again and it was tasty. I appreciate the lack of caramel color too 😊. It was good. If it was still for sale I’d be buying it occasionally for sure.
Top 30 iconic monster types of all

New coke came back though. and they made classic coke, and original coke ( both the same but a % of people didn't notice) There's the chocolate cigarrettes wrapped in rice paper, the boxes have amazing art work, and people would light them to melt the chocolate.
Instant Coffee & Squeezy Tomato Ketchup is pretty normal in the UK
I loved candy cigarettes when I was growing up
