Mortske, you and DD speed shop should do a collaboration on a tri 5 project some time, since he is the expert. You could probably learn a lot from him. That wagon could be a two door in twelve minutes. LOL! Love your videos.
I owned one, same color, but BelAir. By the time I got it in the mid-90s, it had been through several owners and drivetrains. Everybody in town either knew of the car, or partied in it at one time or another. I knew it had a 327/4spd in it before I bought it because I knew the previous owner, he was my best friend. He passed of cancer at 25. His wife sold the car and I found it for sale with no engine/trans. I put a 283/Powerglide in it. My best bud and I were cruising in it one day, and the brake pedal went all the way to floor, heard a snap on the RF wheel. The pin that holds the top two brake shoe springs snapped off, this pin also holds the wheel cylinder, so in conjunction with the single reservoir master cylinder, we wound up running a stop sign at 40mph, and literally put her on two wheels making the hardest right turn I've ever ridden in. I replaced the MS with a dual from a 70s Camaro, along with its proportioning valve and new brake lines for the fronts. Highly recommend this mod if you plan on keeping her.
You could put a windshield and some patina oil on it. To bad you don't have an old small block to put in it with that 3 speed people like when they run. I almost dropped my beer when I saw the inside of that motor and the look on your face was priceless. Another fun video keep them coming.

Minute 37 - oh no, don't think this engine is ever going to run. Minute 43 - worst fears confirmed and then some. Very interesting 🧐 an enjoyable content 😀. 57 is my year so I always enjoy anything with a 57 Chevy in the video. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Glad you enjoyed it
thank you, that was fun to watch. and night mares of sliding up on that divider.
That's a great base to work off of for someone. There's so many long roof clubs forming out there they've become more desirable. Someone will snatch that up and go with it.
Love it. Beautiful car 👍💯
Minute 37 - oh no, don't think this engine is ever going to run. Minute 43 - worst fears confirmed and then some. It has to be disheartening at times as you rip into these engines and discover how bad things really are. Props for hanging in there with them and doing your best to add some value for the next owner/s. I always enjoy your content, it's clear you enjoy what you're doing and you're educating/entertaining a large audience!
Thank you
Man I wish I had the extra money and you were closer, that seem like a super good deal. All in all it looks relatively solid, and the core support hasn’t even been hacked up. They almost always are cut.
Right on

I've never seen rotted push rods, I must say. Those are the first. Wow. She'll make somebody a good project car, maybe. Thanks for sharing, Mort!
Fingers crossed!

Another great Mortske Monday! Always nice to see Duff Dog Mojo and Chin
Glad you enjoyed it!
It does have a body nice blue color. Well hopefully someone will save it. My home town used to have Packard plant where there made wiring harness for vehicles used to have a lot of people work back in the days. Nice video hard work man and duff on you tube.
Very cool
Just love seeing what car you have next because I know we are going to get a history lesson as well as a good watch watch
These things only get harder to find or get. As long as they're making anels for them it could become a Tesla transplant or your next BB strip warrior. Very nice to have the framework and layout with a lovely front clip. Cool opportunity for folks Mortske.
Good tip for using Magic Erasers on whitewalls! I was just googling that yesterday after getting greasy finger prints all over mine. The wagon really came around!
Happy to help!

A prime example of a little cleaning going a long long way. The '57 turned out great.
Right on
What a deal, it even came with a chain to yank the motor! 😂
As a kid my dad and I always used 409 and a scotch-brite on white walls. I’ll bed spray nine would work well too.
My dad had a '57 210 wagon. 283, PS, PB, powerglide auto, Sierra gold/Adobe beige, brown interior. He also had a 150, all white, blue interior.
Sweet
What a SCORE Mortske! Watchin from Alberta Kanada.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I agree…better to find one someone else put their heart, soul and pocketbook into.
I totally agree!
Great video, as usual! The comet wash really brought that paint around!
WoJo makes enough sound for 2 guys working. What a deal :)
