With that "full sleeve" of stitched-together bits, you do have the opportunity to do literally one thing- you could get like half a tattoo on each bit of arm arranged so that they're cut off at the stitch lines to look like the arm is literally stitched together from several different tattooed people. Can't think of much else that would actually work around it though.
Idk if that would look good. I feel like if they were all done like actual sleeves the dividing lines wouldn't pop out. So it would just look like a weird style mash up. Just my 2¢ but I think practically it wouldn't shake out like you are picturing it
@@DavidDoingLife The way you'd do it is by having the styles and colour pallettes be radically different; like, put half a strong-outlined trad panther with lots of negative space and strong colours into a relatively light BW realism piece into something bright red or even just a section of blank skin etc. so that there's plenty of contrast across the lines. Either way I'm not suggesting anyone actually *do* it, just spitballing about what you *could* do if you *had* to do something with that arm as a tattoo artist.
Road to 100k+ Appreciate the constant updates and material. Not spending a full 5 minutes on each tattoo review sets you apart. Straight and to the point. I'll send in my sleeve once it's finished.
Please show us all of your flash around the shop, Kirk. Or rotate the flash on the wall behind you each week so we get to experience more of your work 💪
Well 1500 for a sausage tat, and buttholes being way dirtier and gross, id say 3k ish ? Also how do you keep something like that clean and not infected during the healing process
I had NO IDEA they can use filters on pictures of tattoos. Hey! I'm old. I'm not in touch with my inner juvenile delinquency. I thought that giant body tattoo REALLY looked that gorgeous! It's almost 3-D!! the colors and the sheer talent painting that thing. My Gosh Josh!! That's some very pretty ink!
I met this dude at my brother's baby shower he had the same spill. He's actually pretty cool man. About the logos and the tattoos are crazy. But he had the exact same saying
Hear me out… the Frankenstein tat could be made significantly more interesting if he had different styles of tattoos that cut off at those lines like they were body parts from different people. That being said, they really missed the mark especially making the finger cuts so even. Varied lengths would have sold it so much better.
I was thinking you could do each segment like it was taken from something else, like one patch is dragon hide, another is leopard skin, another is zebra... but you'd have to find a really great artist because if it isn't convincing, it'll look terrible.
With the stitches tattoo in every section you could get a different style of tattoo that way it kinda looks like you have like different skin patched together. I would never do that but I think this makes Frankenstein stitches tattoos look better imo.
So, we're not going to talk about how dude had a giant Home Depot pendant on a chain? Like he's the uncool version of Flavor Flav? We're not going there? The tats may be the least of that guy's problems.
Hey Kirk. Fancy catching you 4mins of you posting 😂😂 Forget the nails…. 10:48 You come with labels on you, you gone stay opened, hot and ready all your life. Untouchable.
So, just hear me out for a quick second, what if the guy with the reassembled arm were to do each section in a distinctly different style..... like each arm section (with maybe finger tie ins?) Was taken from a different heavily tattooed person and assembled into the ultimate frankensleeve!!! I think it could be something more interesting than what he has right now. But a better way to get the point across.
I can't lie, I saw that horrible scrungly Persian cat goblin with the tusks during the 'tears' segment, and thought 'I kinda love that though, I could make it work .' I'd redraw it, obviously, but... I kinda love him.
I actually think there is at least one creative sleve Idea for the arm with the stiches arround it making it look like the arm is diffrent parts sewn together. One can just add to that aesthetic by doing sections of comoletely diffrent styles of tattoos and even tattoos that look like they where cut where the stiches are. So make it look like the diffrent body parts are from diffrent tatooed people.
aye this one was mostly negative and a bummer, wonder if the upside down sparrow was like they were catching it but it's still upside down. Also, maybe (and more probably) it was a tiger shark that chomped the dudes pec at 1:00
It took me a long time in 2001 to find someone to tattoo the jackhammer tattoo on my jackhammer I think the stitched Frankenstein arm could look very cool if you took different tattoos and made them look cutoff from a different arm like an incomplete cutout tattoos skin sewed onto your arm
The " Claw" one looks like he hasnt got a hand, looks like hes an amputee until i faze into the hand, the hand needs some work now imo to even it out jmo of course.
11:06 I met this guy at my brother's baby shower. He said the same thing that he told the cash register lol. He was cool I'm not going to lie. But The tattoos are wild 😂
At first glance that shark tattoo over that scar looked good... at first glance. 1/10000 of a second later all I could see was a giant nipple on the fin AND it looked like sombody dumped a bowl of spaghetti on top of the shark.😢 that's such a bummer coz the face and scar coverage was really good. Oh well.... can that shark be saved?
lol he doesn't know SHIT about tattoos, he's been stuck on apprentice level his whole career, if you think this dude knows ANYTHING about tattoos you're not a tattoo artist, guy starts the video saying you shouldn't do textures over those scars and that's OUTRAGEOUS and any decent artist will tell you that. just look at the tattoos he "likes ",or his own tattoos and that should tell the story, his and the people he learned tattooing from
4:39 It's not cool. Color realism is stupid and doesn't age. I hate it. It will just look like mashed up dark crap in less than ten years. 17:07 Same deal.
Wait wait wait I'm not getting super deep into tattooing as like a career I'm just getting into to give myself and (if I really feel like it) maybe my wife and close friends/family one or two here and there very rarely ever so not for money or any kind of personal gain but I'm an artist and a maker and their isn't any creative thing I won't try that being said of course not everything I do is perfect but I'm ok with that sometimes I mess up on very small parts of very difficult things and just leave it cuz I'm not going to trash something so hard to create for a little blemish anyways you're telling me that volts don't matter but after spending 15 minutes not understanding what the fuck I was doing wrong and why the area I was trying to pack with black wasn't holding the color and was coming out faded and just not taking the ink the way it should I no joke over the last few days have watched about six hours worth of videos not about how to "color pack" or whatever it's called but instead about cpm and hand speed compared to the voltage you use and needle depth and showing all sorts of comparisons between how different voltages with faster and slower hand speeds are like this and blah blah blah truly mind numbingly boring shit that I was watching purely for educational purposes but straight off the cuff you're saying" anybody getting into tattooing voltage doesn't matter " like wtf does it matter or not cuz if you say it doesn't then I need you to explain why these people have in depth ass video with tests and comparisons and all that shit if it just doesn't matter cuz I mean no disrespect to you when I say this but like I'm expecting you as a legitimate tattoo artist to know what the fuck you're talking about if you're giving advice
If your using a coil machine, I use 6.0 to 7 when I'm doing line work using a 5rl or a 3rl. Packs great. When I do shading, I usually 8 or more. But that's with the speed I go at. I am not good by any means. Like yourself, I only do myself or people close to me for free. It's therapy for me yo. Just never had a tattoo lose the ink like you've described.
Dude honestly, you are a tattoo Artist. Why would you call one of the Most traditional bird Tattoos ever, a Sparrow? It was a swallow, you know Like one of the most tattooed bird ever! And real sad you didn't notice the smudged (painted on) Paint on the Guy with the Brandnamens Not one of those was a tatt.
Debating going to Kirk to get a panther on clean skin or waiting for a tattoo I regret and getting a panther as a cover up
Get the panther you want on virgin skin. Dont go into getting tattoo’d anticipating needed cover ups. Thats like a dead horse pulling the fancy cart
😂😂😂
I say cover up, it's part of the full panther experience
I did the panthers on virgin skin. Get the best tattoo you can with the best artist you can afford.
get a panther by some random guy and get it covered with a panther from Kirk
With that "full sleeve" of stitched-together bits, you do have the opportunity to do literally one thing- you could get like half a tattoo on each bit of arm arranged so that they're cut off at the stitch lines to look like the arm is literally stitched together from several different tattooed people.
Can't think of much else that would actually work around it though.
That's the first thing I thought too, lol. Might work...but what do I know?
Idk if that would look good. I feel like if they were all done like actual sleeves the dividing lines wouldn't pop out. So it would just look like a weird style mash up. Just my 2¢ but I think practically it wouldn't shake out like you are picturing it

First thing I thought
Dude just wanted the hand noose so he could truly choke the chicken 😆
I liked that one😂😂😂
Exactly 🎉
So he can say he’s “hung.”
Road to 100k+ Appreciate the constant updates and material. Not spending a full 5 minutes on each tattoo review sets you apart. Straight and to the point. I'll send in my sleeve once it's finished.
The "arian lions" bit had me in stitches lmao
Loved the traddy talon tat, but 100% thought dude was an amputee at first. Weird optical illusion on that one at the wrist lol
Thank you for the “cut your nails” PSA. I couldn’t agree more 🤢
Please show us all of your flash around the shop, Kirk. Or rotate the flash on the wall behind you each week so we get to experience more of your work 💪
So we’re just not gonna talk about the cost for the butthole panther?
Well 1500 for a sausage tat, and buttholes being way dirtier and gross, id say 3k ish ?
Also how do you keep something like that clean and not infected during the healing process
I saw this comment at the beginning of the video, and I don't normally like spoilers, but I'm super curious about this panther.
I remember hearing a tattooer saying they would never tattoo a butthole because the potential for infection is so great.
Butthole Panther would be an amazing band name
That talon is so well done but I hate it so much anyway, makes the arm not look like an arm and it messes with my tiny brain!
Same here, I expected a hand amputee or something, it weirded me out personally but it was sick
Same here, the million times the clip started over his hand disappeared to my brain each time. It’s a crazy illusion.
That little side rant on fingernails was epic...... get 'em!
The old English lettering is because it's a logo for a British punk band called The Damned.
Ok but the guy with the logos having that whole spiel makes it all worth it, surely.
No
I met this dude at my brother's baby shower he had the same spill. He's actually pretty cool man. About the logos and the tattoos are crazy. But he had the exact same saying
You’re so entertaining Kirk 😂 Your gf has her hands full 😂
Kris is a beast! Thanks for the Lucky Horseshoe shoutout too! We are THE one and only purely traditional shop in Northern VA 🙏
@13:30 I am freaking dying. One of my kids heard me laughing from the second floor and I am in the basement. I am still dying as I type this.
Ayrian lion 😌
All the scales on that snake with the hannya mask are backwards 😂
Hear me out… the Frankenstein tat could be made significantly more interesting if he had different styles of tattoos that cut off at those lines like they were body parts from different people. I posted the same comment before seeing this. I say we save the frankensleeve!!!
With the stitches tattoo in every section you could get a different style of tattoo that way it kinda looks like you have like different skin patched together. I would never do that but I think this makes Frankenstein stitches tattoos look better imo.
Idk whats worse that claw or the moustache on the fella and noose hand tells me all i need to know about em with the oversized gold bling watch.
I like the claw arm. I wouldn't use that much space on one tattoo, but I like it. It looks good, and I like how it moves. I just dig it.
So, we're not going to talk about how dude had a giant Home Depot pendant on a chain? Like he's the uncool version of Flavor Flav? We're not going there? The tats may be the least of that guy's problems.
The hannya snake at 8:19 has the scales in the wrong direction at the end
that sasuke was CRAYZTYYYY
Hey Kirk.
Fancy catching you 4mins of you posting 😂😂
Forget the nails…. 10:48 You come with labels on you, you gone stay opened, hot and ready all your life. Untouchable.
That first shark shave been a traddy daddy. Would have looked siiick
So, just hear me out for a quick second, what if the guy with the reassembled arm were to do each section in a distinctly different style..... like each arm section (with maybe finger tie ins?) Speaking straight facts about color portraits 😂
Manassas rhymes with molasses.
I can't lie, I saw that horrible scrungly Persian cat goblin with the tusks during the 'tears' segment, and thought 'I kinda love that though, I could make it work .' I'd redraw it, obviously, but... I kinda love him.
Trimming my nails as I finish up the video and they don’t even need it
How do you heal bhole tatt? How do you keep it sanitary and clean?
Instead of pooping on it you pee on it.
Kirk, you rock dude!
That claw is AHHHHMAZING!!❤❤❤ that black is BLACK! I likee!
I love your videos kirk, but I have no idea how you do one of these a day without descending into madness.
8:22 the scales on the snake are backwards halfway down
I actually think there is at least one creative sleve Idea for the arm with the stiches arround it making it look like the arm is diffrent parts sewn together.

The claw is an eagle claw he just got his Eagle Scout award
Kirk, can you draw a starfish around my chocolate starfish? Perhcnace?
DUDE that claw is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick
I love the Kirk rizz tips
aye this one was mostly negative and a bummer, wonder if the upside down sparrow was like they were catching it but it's still upside down. Also, maybe (and more probably) it was a tiger shark that chomped the dudes pec at 1:00

Worst tattoos? Should've just showed a bunch of blackout crap.
"Traddy Daddy," my favorite talker of shit!!!
LOL my blue eyed lion is for my blue eyed Leo son. That's my reason
It borthers me that the guy with the lazered eagle has a date in roman numerals on his shoulder that is written wrong..
14:30 I believe is a Mac 10 or Mac 11 btw! I don't think its an Uzi
I think it's a tec 9?
Crazy person here -- obsessed with tattoos, have no plan to ever get one.
You’re not alone. I like seeing the creations but won’t get one myself.
This guy cracks me up 🎉
Thanks for another great upload!
Good evening everyone
And to you.😊
namastè
They murdered itachi twice 😂😂😂
I thought the claw was that Pokémon caterpillar thing
Throw half tatts on the seams of Frankensteins son tattoo
The " Claw" one looks like he hasnt got a hand, looks like hes an amputee until i faze into the hand, the hand needs some work now imo to even it out jmo of course.
who's the beauty behind Kirk? 😍
11:06 I met this guy at my brother's baby shower. He said the same thing that he told the cash register lol. He was cool I'm not going to lie. But The tattoos are wild 😂
im glad some else shares the same level of cringe when it comes to fingernails.... bluh
so early my comment cant even possibly be about the video... but im sure its fire as always Kirk
Brother… voltage absolutely matters. Try stipple shading 5.2 volts in a circular pattern and you’re able to get pretty amazing texture
Small circles, start with a 6 drop and just build up
I will never understand why people get tattoos on their faces. ??????😮😮😮😮
The nuce on the fingers is super perfect though
for the stitches/staples on you could 100% fit things in the gapes and that. 100%
22:58 Is that dude's bellybutton between the eagle's claws???? 😮
Yes, yes it is.
Yo! What was shawty doodling in the corner? I wanna see.
Those logo arm is the grossest ode (alter) to capitalism I've ever seen. Sweet Jesus.
Bro you know so much about tattoos it blows me away, but I think it’s hilarious you call swallows, sparrows! You know it’s a swallow….right?
lol he doesn't know SHIT about tattoos, he's been stuck on apprentice level his whole career, if you think this dude knows ANYTHING about tattoos you're not a tattoo artist, guy starts the video saying you shouldn't do textures over those scars and that's OUTRAGEOUS and any decent artist will tell you that. just look at the tattoos he "likes ",or his own tattoos and that should tell the story, his and the people he learned tattooing from
I thought the pic i saw once of a dude calf roll call tattoo of all his car mod parts was bad.
Greetings from Canada! 🇨🇦
I guess it's "swallow", not a sparrow
How do i reach out to send him pics of my tats to shit on? Lol
⚠ sparrows are an invasive species ⚠
Fuckin hell yes, nothing but traditional from here on out. One day we’ll line it up man, still choked I had to cancel on ya when I was down there.
It's muh-na-suss hahaha I've never heard of this guy and I'm local to that area. Gonna check him out!
That’s a big ole face tatt ,when u don’t even have anything on your neck etc
She has a dead sparrow on her hand...
Wait! You telling me Kirk doesnt love me irl??? You telling me Ive just been watching a guy make tattoo videos this whole time?!!
I don't like the claw.
4:39 It's not cool. Color realism is stupid and doesn't age. I hate it. It will just look like mashed up dark crap in less than ten years. 17:07 Same deal.
Its not an ak, its Homer Simpson.
Kirk, I have a question. Do you needels brand's and machine type matter for a tattoos
Right on with the fingernails! Keep em short to keep the schmoo out🤮
1:46 no it’s a tatnoose
Chicken claw!
😂Your clients hole will pay your rent this month.😂

Panthers stay winning
Butthole panther tats
That chick drawing in the corner was very distracting
I used to hate traditional tattoos, and then I found Kirk... yeah I'm a changed man now🤣
No they still janky
Omfgwtfbbq I was having a pretty stressful day until I heard about all these aryan lions out here, poor little critters have a recessive gene
Cool? That claw looked horrible.
I feel like this guy can only do traditional tattoos pretty boring.
I hate it too lol 15:22
That iron man tattoo easily could have been 10-12 years old. Not a month 2 touch up kind of like you were insinuating
Justinked only likes religious tats and roman statue tats. In other words, ass tats
Muh-nas-sis VA. lol
I love whats going on in the mirror over there lmao did anyone cathc thay tat being done over there
