There is NO BODY like the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, It stirs the blood in this American Scot Irish, my grandmother loved the sound of the pipes and introduced me to it when I was very young listening to her records...

I love this tune so much. I listen to it all the time when I'm driving. As a student piper this is the sound I aspire to have when I'm performing on a competition level.
Our band did this a couple of years ago. It's tough. Very, very tough. And we didn't play it this fast. I hope you can get this down, my friend.

I took the actual steam train to Mallaig last Thursday - I was hauled by 62005.
I'd love to take the steam train someday, alas the only time I've been to mallaig was on a diesel locomotive.

@glenzboyz The camp site I was at was a good few mile from the wee fishing village, loved it though, was right next to a golf course, right next to the Atlantic Ocean, superb view. But aye, am definitely going to need to see Skye some day, never been.

This tune is so wonderful. I play bagpipe since a year and now is that moment that I have to learn this wonderful monster :') it sounds so great and my finish is that I will play this in 1 year perfectly on my pipe. The practice Chanter will be burn because there is no day that I won't practice 😂

I had a CD years and years ago of a band playing Steam Train and it was this good but had drums in it and lasted a few minutes longer, I just can't remember the band that played it :(
