The Irish people are a nation who fought for their independence, don't include them in your so called roll of honour. Your blood stained English empire is long since gone.

As a Scot born and raised I am super proud of my Country. Alba gu bràth ❤
Same! Clan Campbell! Though family has been in the US for a looong time
And what about that sign in the background?
RITUALS THAT UNITE US
We could use more of that here in the US.
I am a New Zealander with family heritage from Scotland. Visiting my roots made me proud to have that DNA. Just hearing the skirl if the pipes gives me goosebumps.
Lots of Scots migrated to Kiwi land! And Australia. From an Aussie across the pond!
Growing up in Utah, USA, most parades had at least one pipe and drum band because of our strong shared heritage with Scotland. This was next level, but brought back good memories of that.
From South Africa. I was raised on the music of Scotland and Ireland. This brings back many memories.
Shed lots of tesrs watching this I love my Scotland the pipes sre so moving
What a wonderful sight, coming from an English Man, you better believe that was a compliment.
A just love being Scottish 🏴🙋♂️🙏 the best people in the world 🌎

Stay true to your countries values and traditions; it's a beautiful country.
It’s what every patriot feels no matter what country your from, pride of those that are willing to die to protect their families and their way of life
Its like my daddy told me...Aye, fight and you may die. Run and you’ll live, at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take our FREEDOM!
Just Admiration for Scotland from Tennessee
Goosebumps is exactly right. A quick tear too!
Oh yeah my father was Scottish, and played the Bagpipes in every Parade,❤❤❤
I am American born of mostly Irish and Scottish heritage. I always love hearing the pipes but , to see American military members ( and other countries) marching along side was something to behold. :-)
I was brought up on my mom's love for anything Scottish. To this day I still listen to bagpipes. Gives me a sense of peace.
Scotland the Brave is some BADASS Music.
it was used to fill the hearts of the enemy with fear!
They had the nickname The Ladies from hell!
"Rituals That Unite Us" - - - So desperately needed!
Sorry for your departure.
Europe likes Scotland more then ever!🥰
A Wee tear to the eye. Thank you for allowing us to see this amazing piece of Scottish Heritage in all its glory.
I’m Canadian but so proud of my great great grandfather Jamie Fraser, to coming to a small town in Canada and opening a men’s store of suits and kilts for his Scottish ties that came to Canada. The store in Renfrew Canada was opened for many many years ago because he was a suit maker. Thank you Jamie/James Fraser for bring up some Scottish family members.
M husband's mother was a Fraser and her dad was a history and math teacher in New Brunswick wonder if your related? Small world. Beautiful culture. My husband is very tall with reddish brown hair and dark skin. Very handsome. Had fusion of his spine and now is just painful.
A sassanach here !! Wow.. Bagpipes always make me cry.. they give me goosebumps.. I get so emotional 🙄🤣 Going to see the Tattoo next week. So excited!!!
I am not Scottish, but proud to have Scots in the family! We stick together
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Edinburgh Tattoo some years ago, and it was thrilling beyond belief. I'll remember that glorious spectacle as long as I liv
I’m an American out of California and I was first introduced to Scotland the Brave and the sound of pipes and drums with the film, the Devil’s Brigade when I was about 5 years old.
I’ve never forgotten that iconic scene when the polished Canadians march to join a group of American roughnecks to form the First Special Service Force.
To this day, I am moved by the sound of pipe and drums and Scotland the Brave and Black Bear are my go-tos when I need a little inspiration and a 🔥 under my ass.
I’m less than 1/16th Scottish decent, but damn, my heart would believe otherwise when it hears those pipes.
I’m English and everytime I hear Scotland the brave I get so emotional to the point I can’t explain how or what to even feel, hearing Scotland the brave makes me feel courageous and proud of Scotland so I suppose I may of definitely been Scottish In my past life! Love you Scotland 🏴🏴❤️
3 of my 4 grandparents were scottish. My grandmother was born in Paisley. Goosebumps don't even describe how I feel when hearing this.

Scotland FOREVER!!!
@stitch626aloha Your Irish brethren are neutral and not in NATO, so don't expect reciprocation, but thanks for the offer. 😄
Canadian RCAF brat here, of Scots/Irish descent. I am with you!
@@anthonyferris8912 That may be true, but I don't think there will be any refusal under the right conditions. I don't think NATO matters as much as many people think in terms of our peoples uniting in defense of our homes and families. Reciprocation cannot happen without someone starting the ball rolling...and we won't fail to help unless some fool "leader" stops us. Imho, there are far too many Irish-American families with strong ties to Ireland for your attitude to hold sway overall.
I am an American and my heart swells listening to this.❤
God bless Scotland! Greetings from Bavaria! 😊
Respect from USA
Deep respect
Get your flag away from our song princess
My wife is from Scotland- over the years Ive always loved stuff like this
I'm an American of English ancestry but honest to God anyone who watches this and their soul isn't stirred should seek Medical help. God Bless the great people of Scotland we consider ourselves very fortunate to have spent 3 weeks last fall there.

We can't lose this as a nation even though this is Scotland we are seeing it's something that makes u proud to be British
United in music and symbolism. One military force with one aim.
I've never cared a thing about traveling around the world but I would give anything to see Scotland.
Put your mind to it and make it happen!

You wouldn't regret it!

@@chadUCSD yep! There is just something hauntingly beautiful about the Scottish bagpipes,my son travelled the world and fell in love with Scotland.❤️
Quelle classe, love pipes and drums, Scotland the Brave ! Super moment !!!!!!
Merci de partager ces moments !!!!!
I never take for granted the privilege of being born in Edinburgh. Its home....i wouldn't want to be anywhere else. No better sound than the bagpipes. Well done those pipers and drummer's ❤
The best little country in the world 🏴
Actually, Switzerland scores a lot higher on education, economy, trust in politicians, healthcare, etc, but I have to admit that the pipes and drums beat the alpine horn every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
@@peterpluim7912. Yeah and a tunnocks caramel wafer is better than a toblerone
@@James-yl1ox I hate to admit it but there is almost nothing Swiss anymore about Toblerone. It is owned by the American conglomerate Mondelez and the production has almost completely moved to Bratislava so the packaging lost the “made in Switzerland” label. Sic transit Gloria Mundi. :))

As an American of Scottish heritage everytime i hear Scotland the Brave it really does give me goosebumps.
I love hearing Black Bear into Scotland the Brave.
As an Appalachian American and US LRS Airborne Veteran . I weep with pride every time. Long Live Scotland 🏴
As an Appalachian there's a very high probability that your people came from Scotland.
We all "feel it" when we hear the pipes played well.
I am a Hong Konger. I'm so happy that I have been to Scotland for sightseeing. I'm so glad to visit there and I love it. I wish to go there again. 🎉
When you hear and see this in person it is utterly heart wrenching in a positive way
❤
I’m from New Zealand and my Grandparents migrated there many many moons ago. Grew up with listening to the bagpipes, and Nana’s accent. Long long gone but not forgotten.
Love Scotland ❤️ being born there was lucky enough to go the Edinburgh tattoo. Love Edinburgh
My Mother passed recently and even though she was not of Scottish descent she asked for a piper to play at her funeral. Very touching.
The banner saids it all.."Rituals that unite US." Beautiful. ♥️♥️♥️💯
And we need to unite now more than ever
I guess being arrested and jailed for "offensive" jokes and parodies isn't one of the rituals that unite you?
I’ve always been torn between eating to fight or cry when hearing Scotland the brave. Now I know. FIGHT
Although no one in my family is Scottish, my mom, who never was enthusiastic about most things outdoors, loved the Scottish Games that were held in Sonoma County, California for decades. We went every year to watch and cheer. It drew competitors from all over the USA , Scotland, and the world. The Braemar Highlanders honored us by sending a genuine Scottish caber some years back. The Games moved to Pleasanton in the 90's, but continue the SF Bay Area tradition that's been continuous since 1866!!! Not many people know that it is the longest running sporting event in the USA!!! Every time I hear the pipes and drums I get goosebumps❤ Scotland Forever!
We the Irish ARE the Scotii.
Only us could tame these lands.
Let us, Irish and Scottish, proclaim!
Stop talking bullshit and bow your head to your English masters.
As an Englishman, I have nothing but respect for our Scottish, Welsh, and Irish brethren. Our relationship is complex and emotional, we've fought and fallen out many times but we are brothers and a family. Our blood runs deep through the hills and rivers of these special islands; we must unite to protect our land, cultures, and values...
Well spoken
The Irish people are a nation who fought for their independence, don't include them in your so called roll of honour. Your blood stained English empire is long since gone.
@@johnhiggins779the British Empire had many, many Irish men serving in it at all levels, you dishonour their memory
If they come for one of us, they are going to get all of us. Living naively within a freedom given and supported to you by others is an ignorant place to be in life.
@@johnhiggins779 It was the British Empire and therefore not composed of just Englishmen but either way that's the past, if you want to live there in hate crack on. Whether you like it or not we're neighbours and therefore share a common threat plaguing our nations. I'm not a Scot, but I have the memories of taking my Mum, then 85, to watch the Tattoo in 2019. Mum always loved the sound of bagpipes, and I'm so pleased we managed to do this one last time. She passed away in January, and we just had to play "Amazing Grace" by the Royal Scots Dragoon pipers for her as we said farewell.
How lovely!
