Dang Black66 that was fast! Glad you didn't run out of road! LOL....that's funny your rope broke 🤣🤣. Can't wait to see the top speed on part 2. Good video.
Just discovered your videos about 2 weeks ago and I watch one every chance I get. I'm 74 years old and have really developed a desire to get into mini bikes. I've learned a lot watching you. Don't have a lot of money to put into building a mini bike but I do have a predator 212 that I bought about 3 years ago. Still in the box. Any suggestion on a frame and what to do to the engine? Thanks, and keep the videos coming....
Thank you! Maybe buy one off of Craigslist or a yard sale. I have gotten few of them pretty inexpensive that way. Just the Predator 212 with the governor removed is plenty to have alot of fun with. Thanks for watching the videos!
This makes me really happy to hear. Glad you found his videos they are great and he puts only the facts out there. I wish you luck on finding a decent bike and I’m sure you will enjoy tinkering with it
The comparisons you do is really good from cam to cam. The thing I'm interested in is to degree the cam to see your opening and closing of the valves. I know about it, but kind of lost. That would be a taking it to another step. Anyway I'm subscribed to you channel. Keep it up, maybe 80mph one day and be safe. At 72mph, it's going to hurt if you fall off.
I really would like to see a comparison video with the EC carburetors evolution head versus some other heads on this build. I think it would make a very interesting video and have some very good results. Thanks!
Dude, yesterday I broke my Baja warriors pull cord!, the return spring got all messed up as well. I’ve been starting it by wrapping a piece of paracord where the pull star used to be and yanking it.
I think you should expand your testing points. I.e., 0-20, 0-30, 0-40, 0-50, time to top speed etc. That would tell more of a story than just 0-30 and top speed. Even if the parts end up getting you the same top speed, if it takes 5 more / less seconds to get there, that would be good to know.
I have a .265 cam in my tilliston 225cc Performance Engine and I can't get it above 60 mph, not unless I change my sprockets. I wonder if I put stronger valve springs in if it'll get me a little more speed, because I have a 24mm Mikuni flat-slide carburetor on my engine. I have a billet flywheel and piston, so I should be able to run a little more stiffer Springs without any problems. What do you think?
Did you have to it pockets in the head to run the 32 Lbs springs?? And can you run stock push rods with the 275 cam and the 32 Lbs springs?? Wanting to go to that setup! Or do you have a video on the 32lbs spring install?
Alright so if I get some parts and it adds up to a .040 higher piston would it work with a .010 head gasket without kissing the valves or sparkplug ? Or do I get a lil thicker head gasket?
.080” piston to valve clearance and .030” piston to head are the minimum clearance is the general consensus you should run. I have ran less without any issues but be careful if your gonna try it.
Lol we all know the walk of shame. At least your vehicle was close by. The 265 seems to b better all the time its a good balance of torque and power. Could u test a stock clutch vs a racing clutch but on a stock engine? Maybe stage 1 at the most
So whats everyone think??? I know it wasn't a full video but is it worth the extra 50 bucks for a f275 or go dynocams CM gring super X. That works out to .275 lift with stock rockers and is has 236 duration on both in and ex for 55 bucks can't go wrong. Running simular set up except a PE24mm carb so like a nibbi. Want to keep the Mid range torque.
@@Strict30 I wanna do a mild build on my old engine and get me up to Abt 60-65 but 80 is to much for 2 little wheels and a engine underneath ur crotch 😂
As duration goes up, so does the rpm at which max power is made. At the same time idle quality goes down along with low-end torque. An engine with a lot of duration will scream and make lots of power but can be a dog off the corners and/or trying to get started, not to mention idles at 3000 rpm. F275 is a poor choice for this gearing too much duration.
In my head I hear the " PRICE IS RIGHT "losing horns when the rope broke 😭
I actually have a mega moto frame and you're one of the only ones who actually make videos about it constantly so I really appreciate that.keep it up
I hope to some day have a channel so well established like yours. Great channel 👍
This man really has a lot of patience with those things.
You need a little tool box in the back of that truck for times like that out in the desert hood video though be waiting for the second part!
Always eager for your next video. Thanks for the treats.
Thank you! Thanks for watching the videos!

Broke the rope 😂Arizona desert looks different than the Nevada desert always enjoy your videos 👍 Keep it going
Another great video as per usual!! Still waiting to see a diesel setup or turbo!!!!
Seems like in most of these videos I watch the 265 is almost perfect for acceleration & top speed. A good all around setup.
I would like to see you do a test on the different flywheel advance keys. Use a stage 2 build engine for the test.
💯💯 keep doing what you do

Get a Coleman ct100 thats the best too put one in cometjjnh smaller always works faster and weighs less

Evo Head Vs Paul’s karts head would be must see TV
I'm also running those same style roller rockers for the non hemi they're just not roller tip rockers
I just broke mine a couple days ago but it’s a easy fix 😎 nice one black 😁
Impressive build
Thank you!
Dang nice love it
Ahh man! That walk back to the truck is always a bummer. Only thing worse would be if other people were watching…

I'm doing eighth mile runs; my app gives both ET and speed in the eighth and I've decided that's just about perfect.
Keep an extra recoil starter assembly in the truck man lol. Never know when ya might need one.
I try to comment on all your videos, I kno how much it helps! Where do I get that engine plate configuration for my CT100?
Thanks! Its a kart mount. I picked this one up used but you can find them on ebay and BMI karts etc
CM Super X is my go to cam. I prefer it over the banzai and 275.
@@SpaceCoastMiniBikes I believe they are the exact same. They run amazing indeed!
New test road, Dave? Did the cops force ya to take it elsewhere?
😳 I’m going with no! … content creator! 👍 gotta mix up the scenery 🤗
👍
BLACK 66 PLEASE try a pauls kart cam PLEASE add a tach to you hud thanks for all the awsome info and vidios God Bless
Thanks! I will be trying a Paul's kart cam.
I have to ask how fucking scary was it to hit 72 miles an hour on that thing
did you do a follow on the top speed of the 265? im betting it wasnt too far off.
Check out the Mega Moto playlist for many speed tests with this bike. ua-cam.com/video/xV8i59aGUao/v-deo.html
I'd love to know where you got that clamp for the catch can!
The clamp you’re referring to is from Studz Racing. It’s called the Coffin style catch can clamp. It’s $55.00 on their website

I can do 71mph on my mini with a 265 cam and 26lb springs, 5:1 gear ratio
Nothing personal mate but you consider your size/weight into the equation? 🤷♂️ jus’ throwing it out there!
Very hard to break 60 on a torque converter

Black 66, over 70mph is flying lol…do you know what those ultimate street tires are speed rated for?
No, I sure don't. I figure I will test the limit and find out LOL. I think about 73 MPH so far...😀
@@Black66 😄…be safe out there brother! Keep up all the great content👍
hey black66 hope you doing awesome i wanted to ask what cam should i get for 26pounds springs
A Hot 265 from GoPowerSports would work or a Banzai 265 from EC

Did you know the 275 cam and the 310 cam have the same duration and LSA the only difference is the lift .
What sparkplug do you run & what gap ?

i am putting a 308 in my 223 wild cat are thoses cams good
I used a 308 in this video ua-cam.com/video/KwF21Tbe4Vo/v-deo.html
That’s some pretty thick oil if you gotta bang it out with a hammer ! 😆 😂 … ✌️🤙

F275 is super rough on valve train due to huge duration and square shaped lobes. Much more high maintenance than most any 265, 275, or even 308 cam
Need to compare the regular Dyno 275 to the Banzai 265 thats a more fair matchup, the F275 with 260 duration is too big.
I'll do some more cam comparisons .
What app for mph should I use??
I use digiHUD on the phone along with the camera GPS for top speed and a Dragy performance meter for 0 to 30.
Thanks for watching the videos!
I would not want to go over 40 mph on one of those things. I think a gear ratio around 6:1 would be better for my use.
I used to think it was scary but u eventually get used to it I've been 50 on mine(blew that engineup) it's not bad I do 40 maxed now it seems slow
Try going 80

Ya, its the way the bike is geared. More of a highway gear.
