I'm building a 236 stroker myself. Just started it. Trying to clearance everything. Mine has a 58mm crank, 6270 billet rod, ceramic coated 72mm flat top piston, 6mm fat push rods, 37/50 dual spring valve springs, new bearings and seals, fresh race block, billet lifters, heat treated stainless valves, big valve setup, hemi head, cut for bigger springs and valves, ported and polished intake/exhaust, 26mm keihin race carb with complete nitrous jet kit and 6 sigma nitrous system, amr300 supercharger, 1.2 roller rockers, 32° billet flywheel with another 2° advance,.050/3 match books thick coil set, NGK spark plug, clear covers, wiseco fuel pump, billet side cover, race exhaust/header, 2 pulse setup also with oil catch, a.m. anodized intake, brown box 320 cam
I think you did a fantastic job here brother but I’m Leary about the short pin in this application and the distance between the crown and top ring land. I’m going with a slightly bigger 3.004 single compression ring Wiseco and Briggs pin on my 3” build. Where did you get the crank?
what was the max lift you was able to get with that head i currently have it im at 320 with 260 duration what are you at, and does it have work done to it
Anything bigger than 26lb springs you have to cut the spring pockets to fit ! I believe that cam requires 37lb or bigger to get the correct power curve it’s designed for. I’m not real sure why he has that billet cam it’s strictly for competition so you can change the center line or ram timing !
Could you tell me the part number and brand of that cam? I think you mentioned the lift on it but i didn't catch if you said the brand of it. Great video buddy, very informative. 👍
What length valves did you use? My EVO head didn’t have enough travel for the 965s to fit and I can’t cut the spring pads much before they cut into the roofs of the runners
@@TroySchill95I’m excited about my 3” build coming up soon. This one is getting a Wiseco piston, 36x27 billet work of art, larger undisclosed Cam but we’ll test a few different with it. If it lives, it’ll get a billet crank and get sold to the highest bidder to make room for the next one. Also have a 228cc in the works now along with another 236, both going to be test mules. The last 2.8 I put together ran 95mph in the 1/4 with an out of the box Blackmarkit 32x25 head.
It's expensive lol. But fun at the same time 😃👍🤑🤑 I have around $2300 invested in mine so far. Gotta few more dollars to spend on it yet before it's complete and ready to start
hi, i like your build, and your dyno results, although I have zero interest in this type of engine :) I am building a Briggs Vanguard 23 hp v twin , hence vg23air moniker. I am awaiting my crankshaft rebalance right now, I have piston coating arriving any minute UPS, so I hope to be building very soon after 1 year of planning. Can you shoot me an email, I wanted to ask about the DLC stuff. I also am seeking info on sourcing things like head bolt studs and other special bolts. I will add my email in a reply to this in case utube nukes it from this comment. My email is also on my channel. Thanks

Nice, very nice.
*In my Borat voice*
Why did you not anneal the copper head gasket.
awsome ! this is one of my Dream . to build like that
I’ll give you a 11 out of 10 bro lol nicely done 💯🔥🦾 I also just subscribed bro great work!!
You the man thank you very much sir
i like your work will ypu help me list all the stuff i need need to builder like your engine please, thank u
All the parts I used I listed in the video
START IT UP!
It’s crazy 😜

I believe stock evo head supports .400 lift I cut my pockets for more
I have the tool steel cam because I have high comp springs 80lbs resting longevity and yes I can change cam centerline if I desire
Where did you get that wrist pin

Thank you this is going to come in handy

Dyno cams billet 335 clone specs
@@TroySchill95great cam. Run in all my stuff.

Standard has pockets cut

Did you have to measure how much you needed to have the piston milled? I’m building ECs 263 and putting the same 59mm crank
Yes it had pop up and I milled it down to zero deck
Run a .045 gasket and don’t cut the piston
Why
@@TroySchill95 because it saves you money from cutting the piston and you’re still at about .035 with the piston popping out .010
@MesaMinis piston pop out also will make the piston unstable and I prefer 0deck if achievable
Why does the cam gear have 2 dots on it ??
All other cams that I have seen just have the one dot
Can advance or retard billet cams
Nice build, I am going to be building a 236 this summer. Which coil wire are you using?
Hot coil from eBay
4:25
What kind of fuel you running
Methonal
💪👍💪👍💪👍
How much for that build
Can build one for around 2-3k pending parts used

Ok
how you make it an 267 nd why did you shave the piston?
59mm crank shaft and because piston pop up
