Rick could easily start building specialty bikes for people with deep pockets. There's no better job than the one you love doing, and if he can line up enough well-to-do clients, he can make a very good living building bikes just like this one.
Brilliant build. Absolute one of the best! Bring more like for us to see! Eye Candy= Air Box, Forks, Titanium Tank, that HGS PIPE. Love HGS. Excellent welding skills. I love the work from my European Brothers! Happy New Year!!!
Go Polska! Thank you Rick Vork. That was a pro quality build for sure. I hope that someone at Honda sees this video so they can see the possibilities. I think that if Honda brought back 2 strokes into production, they would sell all of them. The look great, sound great, and cost at least $2k less than the 4 strokes. We need another manufacturer to start producing 2 strokes again... especially if KTM does not survive restructuring.
Beautiful bike Rado. Last few bikes on channel have been top notch. Don't see you as much as we used too really enjoy the vids u do put out. Still love the first ktm u did the best I still have that similar bike. A 2005 MXC version with the larger tank.
I'm a Yamaha guy, first bike was a Yamaha PW50 and been racing YZ250's since '05. But as a teen I bought an 89 CR125. That bike was great. 3 of my buddies had 98-00 RM125's and they couldn't touch my bike on a straight. Could wheelie in every gear in the sand on the CR but the RM's could barely wheelie in 5th in the sand. Hate honda 4-strokes but love their 2-strokes.....just not as much as Yamaha's
Say's yes to me. The less 2 strokes we see and more 4 strokes we have lost something as as a X racer the expense of a 4 stroke is ridiculous but also the fun a 2 stroke gives and have raced many KTM SX bikes but this build is very nice and yes there is a business there as it looks like Honda built it.
Why did Honda,Suzuki and kawi stop making them ? I know emissions reasons is one. The yz’s is basically still built off like a 06 era bike and they’ve not changed it much at all. Ktm I know has gone through many changes over the years to comply with emissions and stuff
With todays tech, why dont they just mass produce big bore or stroker kits to any bikes with cnc machines etc? Would be cool to make a +2mm stroker crank for almost everything and have only minor mods needed to fit the cranks. Also big bore kits for all old and newer bikes, learner enduro and racing bikes. I own a 1991 dt125r since 2003 and would love some stroker crank for it (without needing crank machining and mismatching drive gears) like the dt200 stroker builds have) I would be cool with taking 0,5mm off my crankcase and fitting a 52-54mm crank instead of the 57mm one everyone uses. There is a bike called TZM150 from Yamaha sold in foreign countries and that crank have correct dimensions other than the case but I can't find measurements 🥲
Cool project and glad the guy got to build the bike he wanted, but putting a KTM engine in a Honda frame is nothing like what a modern day Honda 2 stroke would be like 😂😂. I know guys who build Frankenstein hot rods, Ford body's, Chevy engines. But they don't claim it's how Ford would build a good car if they did it today.😂 They just say look at my cool hotrod.
i see very little or close to none torque used on the frame, engine mounts etc... according to "Keefer testing youtube" this is paramount int the handling of the bike
Another ktm 300 2st stuck in a alloy frame. Boring. Unless there is some mind blowing performance increase its just fashion. A cr 250 2st blown out to 300cc would be much more interesting. I do like your show.
I gotta ask. Why the love for honda? Yea they made some good 2 strokes at one time, but they dont anymore. Its like buying gifts for an ex girlfriend, many things were once great but no longer are. Idk, i see it as like free marketing for honda. He spent a lot to advertise for honda. Perhaps its because im not brand loyal, i ride bikes from manufacturers who are manufacturing things i like. What is honda doing to earn this loyalty?
Blame it on Yamaha that had convinced the AMA to allow 4 strokes into motocross racing that eventually led to part of the reason for preference for 4 strokes. And and other part was the Californias restrictions on 2 strokes. As someone that had the pleasure of owning a 2 stroke Honda 80R in the 80's there is just something especially about a 2 stroke bike.
@@evoman44 correct. Didnt Doug Henry win the first race on the yz400m? All provided by "experts" using bad science. I hope the E bikes don't get in on bad science either. No one wants to listen to RC bikes in the stands. Bunch of qu€€rs riding those things.

Not if he can’t put the rear axle on the right way 😂
Potato potardo.@@jangoreo
2-Stokes 4-ever. I love it.
Grew up with them, love them, 4T are good, would also own one..

So sick!! Rick is a real master mechanic.

What a beautiful thing to watch. What an art, building one from the ground up. It's like watching someone paint a picture.
What an incredible job. The man has got skills.
Phenomenal work guys absolutely amazing love this idea all too much
What a superb job! I really like that he used whatever was best, regardless where it came from
Amazing 👍 Rick pulled off one special build.
That's awesome. Great job Rick!!
Wicked looks straight out of the box

Awesome build great Dream bike, For most . Clean factory looks
2 stroke heaven
Very nice job!! 100!!!
The netherlands has a great mx culture & gnarly sand tracks. you shouldt visit once
What a show off. I wish I could show off like Rick. DAMN. DIRT BIKE ARTIST. Very nice work. ☝👍
I agree 😉
@dirtniron great channel bro.
AMAZING!
This is a proper Honda ;-)
Cheers.
We agree!
GREAT VIDEO, especially at 4:15. That music made me wanna ballet dance. Lol
That’s pretty cool I like builds with a bit of engineering involved.
Es com un unicornio 😍 espectacular!!! Gran trabajo felicidades 👌
That thing is sick aside from the dodgy coatings on the hubs and triple clamps.
Nice bike. Like the music too.
this combo could be my dream enduro bike build
Wow beautiful bike
It's a pity the build didn't take longer, I was enjoying the calendar in the background.
Amazing build
Everyone can thank KTM for 2T still being alive !! Rick did a great job, kudos to him
Ha-hum... Yamaha

Nice build!!!
What moment should the bolts have? - All Nm they can 😁
Calibrated elbow 👍😉
Realy cool!
Amazing!
Beautiful Honda build DirtNIron.
thanks bro, glad you like it!
Awesome job 🤙🏻
thanks man, glad you like it!
Zur Überschrift,
Wir wären alle besser dran😉 Däng,Däng,Däng💨
You bet!
Definitely a really cool hybrid!!😮
Glad you think so!
Super sick.
Omgod!!! I don't get envious much, but damn that thing is sexy. Great job, you could make alot of money if you put those into production.
It's a beautiful bike ❤
Beautiful but 😂the funny welds shows up 😂
awesome bike!
glad you like it!
Now that KTM’s open the door for all the other bike builders
AMAZING
your a winner! sweeeettt
Not sure if its the same bike but I saw Hunter Lawence riding a CR with a KTM 2 stroke power plant about 18 months ago?
Bring back 2 stroke nation.
Perfect 👍
Sensacional 👏👏👏✊✊✊
i would love to ride it
BOSS
I want to know the weight, torque & HP for this 300.
I found 2024 CRF450f = wet weight 245 lbs, 34.1 lb.-ft. torque & 51.9 hp
Rear axel is the wrong way
The nut unscrews itself easyer that way.
Se how its org
Nice bike love to ride it ❤

Is it a Konda or a KTONDA?

Gas gas
Why the "RC" denomination ? it stands for ??
Apparently thats how Honda names their prototypes
That clutch is shot
👍 Nice
❤
Base gaskets around the wrong way

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just buy a TM Racing 300 ... even better than what you just built 😅
Probably cheaper too
Beta 300 is great too and has kyb suspension
Too late, the stark varg is out and the EX version is out.
what if they never stopt making 2strokes .. i would drive a new one not my 25 year old cr .. very nice build really engineer skill
Damn build in Germany
i see very little or close to none torque used on the frame, engine mounts etc... according to "Keefer testing youtube" this is paramount int the handling of the bike
Looks like it came from the factory
Beau travail !!!

Next cr will probably be electric 😉
The first time I left Honda was for KTM 300. I hated that bike. I'm so over 2 strokes.
Honda should make this bike to replace the KTM’s
HONDA CR-500
BEST MOTOCROSS ENGINE /BIKE EVER MADE !
Get rid of the unreliable fuel Injection and go to a carb.
I gotta ask. Why the love for honda? Yea they made some good 2 strokes at one time, but they dont anymore. Its like buying gifts for an ex girlfriend, many things were once great but no longer are.

Quit bastardizing Japanese bikes with KTM engines!
I would love to see Yamaha use their 400cc single cylinder direct injected snowmobile motor in a dirt bike.
@@microsoft790whaaaat!! That would be awesome!

All that attention to detail and he puts the axle in backwards. 😂
Amateur hour.
Are you ok bro? Something must be bugging you..
and its not sound like a honda
TBI sucks hahah you got no clue I have one it wicks my suspension tuners TBI sucks they al suck
Jeffrey Herlings would be KTM.
Tim Gajser would be Honda.
He was on the video, on ktm.. go watch it again. Thats why i put his name on the screen since he was passing by
@@dirtniron Yes. But, I was reffering to the statement who is the fastest European. Cheers!
I know this is a tiny nit pick but shouldnt he call it a CR300 and not a RC300? all the honda 2 strokes came with a CR badge
Honda calls prototype a RC
Boo....couldn't find a CR250 engine?
Before i watch the video you get my like. Every Honda that has a 2t gets "slam the like button"
Also, i think a 6 speed 300 carb in that would be 😙👌🤌
