    Super helpful- I’m going on several flights soon and I have my first layover ever in this airport, arriving from the US with a similar amount of time- this is really reassuring :)

    Excellent video. Obviously you couldn't film during customs but it would have been nice to have had a written description when you were at that point just so the view knew that this is where customs takes place. The machines were a give-away to those who've done it before.

    Very helpful video! I'm also traveling in a week from US to Germany, with a layover in Toronto, but i barely got 1 hr and 20 mins and I'm very anxious about it since I'm not sure if I will need to go through customs. And also as a US citizen, not sure if I will need a transit visa. Do you have any information regarding this? Thank you in advance for reading the comments and taking time to reply. All information is very helpful!!

    On July 29th we are taking Air Canada from Philadelphia into this same Toronto YYZ Airport. 3 hours after landing we are to get on another Air Canada flight to our end destination of Denmark. We are never entering Canada itself. Just getting on another plane and then we'll visit Denmark. Upon arrival in this YYZ airport, do we have to go to customs and immigration???

    • @OnTimeReports
      @OnTimeReports  Рік тому

      No. There will be a separate entrance to the international part of the terminal

    Hello, informative video👍🏼 I’m catching a connecting flight in Ontario Pearsons from LAX to Madrid. I couldn’t distinguish which Channel I would use to catch my international connection?? E, F etc?? Also, would I have to pass immigration and security again ( I would have already gone through it at LAX)??
    Reading the comments , I’ll be watching for ITI OSS on my boarding pass but what about immigration?? thank you, any info will HELP.

    • @OnTimeReports
      @OnTimeReports  Рік тому +4

      No you won’t need to go through immigration. You’ll just follow the signs for international connections (E gates)

      From international to domestic, you'll need to pass through Canadian customs. From domestic to international, is the same as domestic to domestic - there's no extra immigration or customs procedures.

      @@OnTimeReports Hi, thanks for this helpful video! I'll be flying from US to Canada then to Japan and I'm wondering, do you have to go through security check again or just pass through Canadian customs? I know you mentioned it already but I'm making sure about it. Sorry if it's a stupid question!😅

      Usually, you would not need to recheck your bag. But if you do need to, it is after both customs and immigration.

    hello! i'm so anxious about my flight this coming 17th of april. mnl-hkg-yyz-yul. my port of entry is in toronto. i have a connecting flight to montreal & i need to change terminals. i'm arriving in T3 and i need to tranfer to T1. i'm so confused.
    Do i need to do immigration, customs & security.. then change terminal? or
    do i need to change terminals first, & then undergo immigration, customs & security?

    • @OnTimeReports
      @OnTimeReports  4 місяці тому

      You will first go through immigration and customs in T3. Then you will take the Terminal Link to T1 and go through security in T1 before reaching your gate in T1.

    I have a trip coming up in June to Rome, Italy. We are flying from the USA and we have a connection in Toronto YYZ. Do they require us to go through security and customs for connecting international flights? If so, which line would we get in?

    Im a future international student, traveling from Argentina, my destination is Ottawa, Flying with Air Canada,

      You will go through customs in Toronto

    • @b3ki771

      I ASK Chat GPT Here is the answer
      Hello, this is Chat GPT. I’m happy to help you with your travel plans. 😊
      According to the Canada Border Services Agency12, you need a valid study permit or a letter of introduction that shows you were approved for a study permit to enter Canada as a student. You also need a valid travel document, such as a passport, and a copy of a valid letter of acceptance from your school.
      You will go through customs at your first point of entry in Canada, which is Toronto in your case. There, you will present your documents and get your study permit issued by an officer23. You do not need to go through customs again in Ottawa.
      I hope this answers your question. Have a safe and enjoyable trip!

    This airport is making customers zig-zag through a massive customs line-up for nothing. They could easily move the custom card inspector to the beginning of the line, instead of right up near the custom officer desks and check through many travelers. Purposely making you wait an extra 40 minutes to 1 hour after a full day of travelling. Horrible..... starting to hate travelling, that's what they probably want to happen.

      NYC-YYZ-TYO qualifies for sterile international-to-international transfer in Terminal 1 so you shouldn’t need to go through immigration and bags should be checked to your final destination
