Hi Tim, really enjoy your videos, we use your advice and recommendations thank you. Could I ask where you got your coat from in this particular video please?👍🏼
There are 2 things I love about Tim's videos. 1: He's relatable and always being himself and doesn't downplay to his audience. 2: No matter where he is, (whether it's the worst hotel in the world or a business class flight), all of his videos are watchable and really fun.
What I love most about this channel is the 100% honesty. There are so many channels that are sponsored by the business they are reviewing and just give all reviews with rose tinted glasses on. Tim gives the most honest account out there 😊
😂😂. Yup I'm sooo grateful for his honesty regarding the luxury of him flying business class. Soo grateful I get the opportunity to see him fly first class.
I flew that exact same trip 1st class yesterday. It’s a pretty accurate representation. I fly Emirates 1st from NZ to London return about 6 times a year. A couple of comments: 1. Yes the food & drink is top-class but when you fly so much, what you appreciate most is the simple quietness and privacy of 1st class service. And being able to get what you want when you want. I mostly sleep. 2. You asked about what happens if you get turbulence in the shower. Step 1 is sit on the seat in the shower. Step 2 is you quickly grab the towel and return to your seat in your suite. 3. You missed the best bit which comes from flying 1st with a connection. In Dubai as you exit the aircraft you get greeted by a personal escort who guides you through the airport - including riding on a buggy if it’s a longer transfer - and fast-tracks you through security directly to the 1st class lounge. The London-Dubai flight is only 6-7hrs which is too short to enjoy all the comforts and get a good sleep. I prefer the Dubai to Auckland leg which is about 17hrs - this is enough time to enjoy the amazing service and still get 10-12 hrs deep sleep. 😊 You also get a chauffeur car service picking you up from home and dropping you off at the other end. If you reach Platinum status there are also some additional benefits - which are not openly published but you get told in a personal letter from the Emirates Chairman when you reach Platinum - which are very useful and makes flying Emirates 1st the nearest thing to flying via private jet. I’ll be doing it all over again in about 6 weeks time…
What I don't get is people's obsession with food on planes... no offence but whether it's a free ticket, redemption, business paying for it or paying full price, airplane food is just average at best. If one can afford to pay full price, they should find the food to be terrible! As you can get a great meal for $500pp which is a fraction of the cost of the plane ticket and would blow airplane food out of the water. Ps. I travelled for 6 years internationally flying at least once a month for work (so free), business paid for business class seats, but flying so much i had top status on multiple airlines, and after about 6 months, all the novelty wore off, I skipped most of the meals and I couldn't wait for the journey to end.
Sounds like you’ve had a better experience. The attendant didn’t like me. Woke me up with her face a few centimeters away. Scary. I agree about the escort for 4 of us to the lounges.
No inbetween with Tim is there? One minute he is in the depths of the Worst rated Adelphi hotel in Liverpool, the next he is flying first class Emirates to Dubai. Best channel on UA-cam atm, keep it up Tim!
When you fly Perth Australia to Dubai, 12 hour flight, then 1st class makes sense. Put your pjs on, champagne, meal, sleep, breakfast, shower then land, wonderful.
Not everyone can afford 1st class ice if you can though, I lived in the middle East for years, and dubai is great but its not the best place to visit Oman and Jordan are amazing.
You know when someone is rich…. They refuse all the food in first class and only drink water the whole way. I worked in first class and that’s what I noticed.
I, as an Emirates Cabin Crew Member, I did something ridiculous that I don't think anyone did as a Cabin Member. I worked for 2 years just to get enough money to buy my self a 1st Class ticket to experience this as a passenger and it was incredible what we do for the passengers. I absolutely love this job! P.S: at 23:30 you just flew over my home country, Hungary. 🇭🇺 This is so awsome.!
And if they were a little smart, you would have an internal forum where cabin crew could sign up for unsold first class seats, last minute, so that you could cycle through the experience. Having to save for 2 yrs to afford to try the product you were hired to sell is frankly a terrible approach by the company.
As an Emirates Employee don't you get access to heavily subsidised travel in all classes? I believe this to be one of the perks the company provides for their employees.
I cannot imagine spending the money that it would cost to fly first class. It's like a wedding, an enormous amount of money wasted on one day, that's the same way I would look at this. Beautiful, but not worth it.
Having travelled to Dubai nine or ten times with Emirates and enjoyed each trip I never have experienced first class. Although everything looked lovely and very luxurious I never, ever , would be prepared to pay such a large amount of money to be pampered on a plane journey lasting 6 - 7 hours. Good luck to anyone who feels that it would be worth it - I’m not so sure !!!!

I was lucky to be upgraded to Emirates First on my way back from Melbourne to London. Upgraded for the Melbourne/Dubai stretch then back to Business for Dubai/London. I was fortunate to have the 12 hour stint in First to eat (loads!), sleep (loads!) and shower. Saying that, Business is really good on the A380 as well but big smile when I got upgraded. Your video brought back some great memories from 10 years ago, so thank you. Nothing looks like it's changed - and I still use my PJs!!

Only Tim could get a broken shower, trapped in his pj’s and slippers and struck by lightening all on his first class emirates experience 😂😂😂. This is why you are my favourite UA-cam channel ❤👏🏻
Excellent review Tim, one of the best I’ve seen, no silly background disco music, just down to earth normal sounds making one feel like I’m there, instantly worth a sub, thanks for sharing 👍😃
A pearl spoon is used because a metal one will affect the taste of the caviar. I cried a little at the commentary on the champagne 😂 I love how he is flying first class and yet, he is so confused 😂 it's super nice to get a review like this
Just got back from the food bank, where I got my can of beans and box of Mac and cheese. Sitting in my bachelor pad and watching UA-cam off my neighbour’s wifi, while I eat. Life’s not fair, but God still loves me.
Yes sir, some of us had a very hard job and hard life. Thank God I Was self employed because not one company would give me a job. All my friends and their friends got them though. So you are right, life isnt fair. My friends worked for big companies and have saved millions and will get millions mre when they retire , but giving up 200 thousand dollars a year for clock watching is to hard for them to let go and retire.Thats pure greed, and the truth is , when this country crashes in the around the elections , these greedy people will lose every dollar that have. Meaning they worked for free in the long run.
What an amazing person you are - totally real, no BS. Thank you for putting up this video. It's fantastic to see the amenities. Looking forward to your next video. Keep adventuring!
Tim, I kid you not! Watching this fascinating video on the big screen in my living room, I got entirely lost in the feeling that I was on the massive plane with you! The sounds, the low rumble as the plane taxied for takeoff, the turbulence......I was there! It was kind of spooky! But what a great adventure you had, from the food to the drink to the shower, it was all far beyond anything I've had in flying. Thanks ever so much for taking me along on that very interesting journey! Cheers!!

I absolutely loved this flight! 😅 I can understand why you couldn’t sleep. It would be like wasting time a little bit with so many things to do like eating delicious food, drinking champagne, and doing fun things like a shower so high up in the air. I think 20 minutes of sleep just to have the sleeping experience was enough. 😅
I flew Emirates first class two years ago because my boss who I was traveling with got upgraded. There was jollof rice on the menu! As a Nigerian I was stoked !!! It tasted good too. I was very impressed ! Even my Nigerian boss ordered it and really liked it.
You are the realest travel vlogger on YT. I felt like I was there with you for the ride. I have a fear of flying but I feel so much excitement about flying in the A380 at the same time😅.
We got upgraded to business class from Dubai on to Manchester. Wonderful experience that we could never afford. Food and drink were amazing and real cutlery. Comfy full length bed with pillows and an upstairs bar - champagne all the way. Loved it.
I've seen quite a few review videos of this exact flight but you once again have topped it. It's informative, humorous and inclusive. I feel like I'm there, keep it up!
Love❤your Emirates experience! From the food, champagne, comfy cabin, shower, goodies & awesome hostesses, this is a dream trip! Kudos to the pilots Tim for getting you safely to Dubai! Gonna check Emirates for my Middle East trips later this year!
Hi Tim, I've seen several Emerates first class video's but I liked yours the most. You are really enjoying everything like a kid in the candystore. Loved it!
Looked like a beautiful experience....they've truly thought of everything to make the customer comfortable and happy. And I was VERY impressed with the price!
Expensive, yes, but very exclusive and every need catered for. Have to admit it would be my style! Great that we can share these experiences with you. With all that you do for us on UA-cam you deserve to try out the luxury end of lifestyle.
@barrycoppock calm down barry, over three thousand pound for a flight to do a video plus his accommodation is a bit extreme in my eyes, when all that money could be put towards his family home or some in a savings account for his child.
In my humble opinion, First Class with Emirates is exceptional. Attention to detail extraordinary. Fine food and a wine list with detailed insights a great joy to read. Extremely well presented, glamouros cabin crew with positive and helpful demeanours makes the journey a great pleasure. We have been so lucky to enjoy the Emirates Airline experience so many times all around this wonderful world where you are welcomed and cared for like you are family. EK deserve all the accolades received and will no doubt continue to lead and set the standard.
very nice showing us whats its like in Emirates first class, love this airline and always wondered what was upstairs. I love the way you explained everything, so clear and no wasting time. What you found dull in the lounge before boarding would be lovely for me, I thought it was great but obviously you have seen better!
Hi Tim! Wanna thank you for helping me get through a dark time. I've been in and out of hospital for the past 5 months. Lost loads of time from work which of course is stressful. Watching your videos has helped, im gradually going through them. Hoping to return to work next week and get back to 'normal' take care and keep up the great work.
I felt like I was on the plane as well. Everything you showed was a WOW moment. Thank you for allowing us to join you without the feeling of being crowded in with everyone watching from all walks of life 😂😂😂
I like how you don't dampen your criticism for certain companies or places, you say what you're thinking and that is very commendable, if someone is paying that much money then they should be getting their moneys' worth
What a great video. Showing me in my very advanced years what I have missed , if only! Wonderful to see the A380 the first class luxury and the faultless service. Thank you.
That was one of the most enjoyable videos I've watched in a long time. A real world review of first class travel. You have a voice I could listen to all day and your filming and editing was spot on.
Thanks for sharing this experience with us. There certainly was a lot of amenities. The closest flight I have taken to this was Thai Airlines in 1986. I left the plane with two large bags given to us, filled with presents. We still have some of them. At 74, I will probably not experience something like this, but you have done a great job telling us about your flight. Safe travels to you!
Not gonna lie...he looked seriously frightened at the end of that flight. I myself would have panicked. I don't like flying...but for some reason I thought the sensation of the turbulence would not have felt as bad in that section of the plane...like you'd have more insulation from it! I don't like when pilots say, "little bit of weather"😅.
The hot towel given to passengers on flights are actually for the ears, the heat opens up the earways and prevents that, sometimes, painful pressure in the ears when the plane starts going down for landing. But it always puts a smile on my face when I see people use it in the face ☺️🤷♀️
@@richardkenney9433 That's interesting. May I ask for what purpose? I mean what purpose is the dry heat of the towel meant to serve for the face and hands? I am sincerely curious. And thank you so much for your service as a flight attendant for 30 years, it's a tough job ❤️
Nice video Tim. I have never flown with Emirates, but flew once with Qatar airways to Indonesia in economy. The service was great, the food was also great and I was served my favourite single malt whisky Laphroig in a crystal glass and not a plastic cup, and that was in economy.
Captains make the decision that is safest for the passengers. .. not to be heroes or please the passengers. When you're flying that amount of people or any person, safety is of utmost importance .. not the passengers' convenience. I wish passengers would understand that. Even delays are for their safety most times.
I’ve flown business class with Emirates to Dubai & it was much better from Heathrow. Chauffeur service straight to Emirates Lounge & stewardess with bottle of champagne & nuts whilst we were still on the ground.
Been to dubai 4 times, stayed on the palm everytime, sofitel, anantara and atlantis, judging by the balcony and the views Tim you are at the atlantis! Love the video as always!

Thanks for the insight Tim, I've never tried 1st class & only flew with Emirates for the first time last week to Dubai & it was a cut above the budget airlines, also chucking it down with rain when I got there + holding pattern for an hour, keep up the good work.
Fantastic video Tim, I treated myself for 40th Bday, and flew Etihad Business class Melbourne- Abu Dhabi - London. It was absolutely amazing... Like a time machine, I just blinked and was in London..
Yes Emirates chauffeur drive will take you to Great Yarmouth. I did it recently and it was plus about £100. Not a lot compared to ticket price! You didnt mention that the thunderstorms and rain in Dubai are man-made with cloud seeding!

You've got an amazing way of making us feel like we're your best friends or family. I absolutely love that , and that's what makes your videos so special.
The First cabin is really nice, especially the one on the 777 aircraft from Stansted. You feel like you`re the only one on the plane as you see no one once your door is closed. Top food and drink. Its not as expensive as some Vloggers say. On average you`re looking at £6k in first to most routes and £4k in business from the UK.
Tim, I love how you measure the size of showers by how many people can fit in them. That is so cool. I did not even know they had airline flights that were so nice. I'm thinking about taking that flight and simply not getting off the plane. It has everything I need. I may as well just live on the plane. Thanks so much for the wonderful walk.
Thank you so much for putting yourself through this. My son was telling me that Dubai has seen a lot of rain of late. But the services in this flight looked fantastic ❤!
I'm glad you mentioned that there was only 1 other person in first...otherwise I would have thought it really invasive to chat the whole way through. lol
Loved your review, very detailed and well spoken covering all amenities unique to 1st class. Thank you. Looking forward to watching your hotel and biz class return to Uk.
Is it wrong of me to sigh and wish that I could experience this just once in my life, knowyo probably never will?! 😮 I love the way you include every detail’ thank you!!!!

In the shower?😅
@@pottytheHemmyfun actually I do even when I am sleep
Yep, I’ve watched countless “black box” airplane tv and also on YT … whoop, whoop, pull up … whoop, whoop, pull up … ✈️ 💥
Always wear the belt 😊
Jus wet myself , couldn't get to toilet with seatbelt on. Thanks mate
Only Tim could get a broken shower, trapped in his pj’s and slippers and struck by lightening all on his first class emirates experience 😂😂😂. This is why you are my favourite UA-cam channel ❤👏🏻
😂😂😂
You poor thing having to fly first class, the sacrifices you make for us Tim 😁
Lol and only 20 minutes sleep. Poor thing 😂
The thorough approach to this video is amazing ❤
Excellent review Tim, one of the best I’ve seen, no silly background disco music, just down to earth normal sounds making one feel like I’m there, instantly worth a sub, thanks for sharing 👍😃
Wow, thanks!
A pearl spoon is used because a metal one will affect the taste of the caviar. I cried a little at the commentary on the champagne 😂 I love how he is flying first class and yet, he is so confused 😂 it's super nice to get a review like this
He’s flying 1st Class yet he is so confused … ⁉️
You sound like a snob 😅
Just got back from the food bank, where I got my can of beans and box of Mac and cheese. Sitting in my bachelor pad and watching UA-cam off my neighbour’s wifi, while I eat. Life’s not fair, but God still loves me.
Same here hon…just got a Food Order from my Church and Rental Assistance 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Love these videos tho and to DREAM❤❤❤❤❤😂😂
@@filhodarosa7512 you made me giggle. Its not the champagne.
It’s not happiness to be rich. Not good be too rich or too poor.
Keep telling yourself that. Delusion is the most wonderful mistress.
5:24 Tim's obsession with the number of people a shower can fit always makes me chuckle 🤣
I read this comment and literally 2 sec later at 23:55 he does it again 😂😂🤣🤣
Right, and I love when he uses the word “gutted “
I wonder what they’d do with one person sitting and two standing 🤨
@@julieaustin951 And "I'm not gonna lie" ..😂😂

That was brilliant. His face on the approach was unreal. You did well kid.
Definitely! I noticed that, too! But I would have felt the same way that he did. 😬🤢😬
Cheers!!
That's the very reason I try to film the way I do and the whole walk with me experience . I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
@@WalkWithMeTim Your filming perspective is FANTASTIC! Can't wait 😁 until the next episode!!
LOL "decongestion" had me in stitches!
I flew Emirates first class two years ago because my boss who I was traveling with got upgraded. There was jollof rice on the menu! As a Nigerian I was stoked !!! It tasted good too. I was very impressed ! Even my Nigerian boss ordered it and really liked it.
An amazing experience - this is on my bucket list for 'one day', although I'm not fully convinced that I'll ever be able to afford it. Maybe one day!
You are the realest travel vlogger on YT. I felt like I was there with you for the ride. I have a fear of flying but I feel so much excitement about flying in the A380 at the same time😅.
Dates are good for you. The suite looks splendid, especially the leg room.
😂🤣
It’s $3200 pounds!!!!! You are welcome.
😂😂😂😂😂 Thank you
😂
Build a house with that money....here in Africa in any case
Thanks, couldn’t be listening to him…
Hi Tim, I've seen several Emerates first class video's but I liked yours the most. You are really enjoying everything like a kid in the candystore. Loved it!
Looked like a beautiful experience....they've truly thought of everything to make the customer comfortable and happy. And I was VERY impressed with the price!
Absolutely splendid Tim. Another glimpse of something that is beyond most people’s reach but that we would like to experience.
Tim makes a reasonably interesting topic strangely compelling!😊
Energy, enthusiasm, respectful yet straight talking.
Expensive, yes, but very exclusive and every need catered for. Have to admit it would be my style! Great that we can share these experiences with you. With all that you do for us on UA-cam you deserve to try out the luxury end of lifestyle.
Thanks Barry .. its something I very much doubt I'll do again lol
The same on Turkish first class. Elegant , tasty , fresh.
I agree Barry
@@kookytoots6755 these are not holidays. It is all work to produce the videos. Rarely more than two days spent at the location.
Thanks Barry , hope your getting better
I felt like I was on the plane as well.
Everything you showed was a WOW moment. Thank you for allowing us to join you without the feeling of being crowded in with everyone watching from all walks of life 😂😂😂
Looks lovely . The phrase “a bit of weather “ quite an underestimate . The phrase “water landing” springs to mind .
I really like how you show us truly everything and tell your real thoughts. That shower was such a dedication!
I like when they do say that. Its comforting
Suprising when you pulled that tray table out!! Absolutely huge! Love your channel.
My mind is blown away to see the Emirates first class, its something that I don't believe exist in this world. So beautifully!
The hot towel given to passengers on flights are actually for the ears, the heat opens up the earways and prevents that, sometimes, painful pressure in the ears when the plane starts going down for landing. But it always puts a smile on my face when I see people use it in the face ☺️🤷♀️
Ohh I did not know that.. but you could probably use it for both. Face and ears.
But good thing to know this. Thx.
🙏⚘💜⚘💜⚘🙏
😆 thank you, that's good to know 😊
ears....I was a flight attendant for BA for 30 years and I can assure you they were meant for face and hands.
@@richardkenney9433 That's interesting. May I ask for what purpose? I mean what purpose is the dry heat of the towel meant to serve for the face and hands?
I am sincerely curious.
And thank you so much for your service as a flight attendant for 30 years, it's a tough job ❤️
You weren't that private then?
Nice video Tim. I have never flown with Emirates, but flew once with Qatar airways to Indonesia in economy. The service was great, the food was also great and I was served my favourite single malt whisky Laphroig in a crystal glass and not a plastic cup, and that was in economy.
Credit to the Captain for flying through the storm. What a lovely plane. Enjoy your time in Dubai xx
Would you rather he landed?
@@ejkalegal3145Go around the storm? Often times, that's a solid option.
I am , video coming Friday
Tim, your kindness and good spirits are so infectious. I truly enjoy watching your videos and following your travels. It is like breath of fresh air away from such a busy, and sometimes cruel world. You’re an inspiration to many, including myself. Keep up the great work, and nothing but the best to you!
Weather in a plane makes us realise we cannot control everything! Stay safe Tim
Stay safe from what?
@@areguapiri errr, weather! That's what was written....
@areguapiri Lightning struck the plane, and the turbulence was pretty rough. Didn't you watch to the end?

Great vlog Tim..ty...🎉I saved hard and flew Emirates Business to see my dtr in Perth WA...it was FABULOUS...could not fault a thing. I payed 3K and that was about 8 years ago... 1st Class looked amazing,as I have mobility issues I think if I ever go again..1st, as it will be much more comfortable ✈roomy and accommodating 🎉
Thanks for the insight Tim, I've never tried 1st class & only flew with Emirates for the first time last week to Dubai & it was a cut above the budget airlines, also chucking it down with rain when I got there + holding pattern for an hour, keep up the good work.
Emirates and Airbus A380 are the best of the best.
Me watching this knowing my broke ass will never go to first class
LOL. Same😂
You never know, life can be quiet surprising. I know that I will get to fly first class many times in my life haha

Zero evidence to prove it.
I absolutely LOVED your first class cabin. I would have been in heaven. And that shower room was crazy big! Thank you for the fantasy air trip.

I watch a lot of these travel videos and must say I think Emirates the best! Some people say it's a bit dated and tacky but seems fine to me! Love the fact you have your mini cabin! You can keep the caviar! 😩 A sausage bap does me!
yes even in economy
The funniest first class video I saw was Noel Philips in drinking champers and eating a bag of Monster Munch!
7:42 You were battling away there with the great Sam Cook, " Another Saturday Night" Tim.
Is that the Sam who has free flights just because the airlines want a good review 😆x
Thank you so much for putting yourself through this. My son was telling me that Dubai has seen a lot of rain of late. But the services in this flight looked fantastic ❤!
