I wouldn't use air canada if i were you they should be happy that youtubers are doing it for free you are helping them with business
Exactly👍👍👍I think you’re a great world traveler👏👏keep you happy, motivated and energetic in spite of these experiences💪💪
I hope the CEO of Air Canada gets to see this
@@TattoosLovers I disagree with your interpretation of the situation. Air Canada was happy to have him there. It sounds like somebody on the cabin crew was uncomfortable being filmed and the cabin manager overreacted. Ultimately Canadian privacy law comes into play here. That is why he received the email before his return trip. Air Canada needs to better communicate theses laws with all travellers.
No mater what airline you travel in Canada on they would be subject to the same rules.
As a Canadian who was forced to fly only Air Canada (I worked for a Crown Corporation) I watched this video with a small grin on my face. The ATTITUDE you experienced is NOT a rare, one off occurance...it reflects the overall attitude of the Corporation and it's employees...that is why their rival WestJet has grown so rapidly in the past few years !
I have flown air canada many international flights and domestic. Never experienced anything bad. Westjet was decent but not as good as air canada imo. Maybe its cuz i have only flown in the country with westjet toronto - calgary.
Completely agree with you.
American Airlines had management line that and it filtered down to the employees who acted that way.
Wasn't WestJet bought by AC not too long ago?
@@lilijastoppler377 ...ummm...NO !
This guy gives authentic experiences and reviews. Sam Chui videos are out of perspective, he gets the friendliness and service because he’s Sam Chui. This guy gets the experience we would get if we wanted to vlog on a plane.
I write about filming on board above. It really does have to be with permission from the airline. If a guy walks into your workplace and just starts filming you... how would you feel? An aircraft is not really a public space but EVEN IF IT WERE, anyone should be able to go about their work WITHOUT being recorded on video, if they don't want to be. How would you feel?
@@djlondon7956 the CAPTAIN gave him permission
Man, this whole Sam Chui feud is wild!
@@djlondon7956 A person shouldn't work in hospitality businesses if the person don't want to be filmed and most important don't know how to politely decline being filmed when the higher authority already given permission to be flimed. It is a competitive business and one person mistake can ruin the face value of the company.
@Vishnu Gokul execpt he decides on whos good and bad based on who pays him and gives him extra perks in order to "buy" a good review.
I believe it. I used to work in a hotel where we hosted Air Canada staff every day so I used to meet over 100 Air Canada employees at least 5 days a week. I must say they were the rudest bunch of people I have ever encountered. Not all but most of them.
And who were the nicer?
They resent living in our shadow.
@@szervosz Lol! right?!
Wow Air Canada! Possibly a good lesson in public relations that one bad customer experience garners 8,200 reactions and 330,000 views, and I'm watching it 2 years after it happened. So it sticks. It does not make me ashamed to be Canadian, but it makes me ashamed of you. It was 13 minutes into this video before Josh referred to David, the Cabin Manager, apologising for his behaviour, and frankly, 13 minutes is a long time in UA-cam time, and it's time you deserve.
It's not so much just the Cabin Manager's behaviour, it's the fact that the cabin crew TURNED THEIR BACK on a paying customer. Not flying with you, ever.
They don’t really care. Time to move on
Same here. I'm Australian and I travel. I'm also a retired third-level airline pilot. And it seems Qantas is going this way too and has been for some time - although I have not flown Qantas for some time for that very reason.
I'm personally ashamed you are a Canadian! I'm ashamed of Air Canada as well. So both of you can be low class together. Go apply for them it sound like you will fit in great.
@@charityrocks And we're all ashamed of you.
@@charityrocks well I’m ashamed of everyone watching this, I’m ashamed of myself, I’m ashamed of every person that ever lived
A guy sitting at an airport bar noticed a beautiful woman sitting next to him. He thought to himself, "Wow, she's so gorgeous she must be a flight attendant; but which airline does she work for?"
Hoping to pick her up, he leaned towards her and said, "Love to fly and it shows?"
She gave him a blank, confused stare and he immediately thought to himself, she doesn't work for Delta.
A few seconds later, another slogan popped into his head. He leaned towards her again, "Something special in the air?"
She gave him the same confused look. He mentally kicked himself and scratched American Airlines off of the list.
Next he tried "I would really love to fly your friendly skies?"
This time the woman barked back at him "Man, what the fu*k do you want?"
The man smiled, then slumped back in his chair, "Ahhh, Air Canada".
we need more honest uncensored review like this, instead of those staged commercial reviews from Sam Chui lolll

@@NavigatoTravels absolutely! Correct reference of the video.
True, true, sam is so fake, except that he gained some LB‘s recently, and that‘s true😂😂😂😂
Agreed. I skip many Sam Chui's videos as they are unwatchable.
I cannot understand the cabin manager's attitude towards somebody being escorted by ground staff to the plane like a VIP. It is like arriving at a famous international hotel and get a slap from the recepcionist.
You had the perfect analogy!!
All_Roads the flight crew were cool with his filming, they even told him that if he wanted footage of the flight deck it was fine. It was the cabin crew that was the problem. Cabin crew bad attitude is not unusual and happens more often than many realise.
Alan Piper the power has clearly gone to their heads.
Chatta290 that’s common these days. Had a similar incident on a Qantas flight years ago after which I chose alternate airlines for years. In my experience, when you get bad service from the cabin crew, ask for their names and positions. They will be reluctant if they realise that they are in the wrong and will generally change their attitude. If they still have an attitude and ask why, tell them that you need it for your report. If they offer you a complaint form, tell them that will not be necessary as you will be sending your report directly to management. If possible, film them behaving badly and send the footage to management with the report/complaint. If you get no response, post it on social media, you’ll get a response then 😊👍.
Yeah exactly
The use of those words by them is not good for me. As a uk person, I thought Full Legal Package meant, yes you can film, we will give you the legal packages (paperwork to sign for model releases) I wish officials in USA and Canada would say thinks literally and clearly. Reminds me of immigration in Cali where there was a guy by the rope line to immigration desks, i never realised he stamped my passport to exit (there was a 6 inch gap in rope as it meandered back towards the desks) all he said was "you made your choice" what the hell does that mean. I only knew when he shouted over to the desks, the last guys been done. Well thanks for telling me.
Because Air Canada has such a MONOPOLY in Canada they think they're above the law .
Being from Canada, I feel so much empathy for you that someone in this position pulled a power trip and then you were treated that way by the crew! It is completely unacceptable and so isolating! I know very little about flying, but I do know about professional, appropriate behaviour. It begs the question whether the manager felt he had something to hide. I'm glad to hear he apologized. All this pre-flight preamble makes me wonder why they are so nervous about being reviewed.
Josh, another great video, your honesty and integrity is so clear to see. You are extremely engaging and I am very glad to have found your channel
I’m very sorry that happened to you. Josh please continue with your amazing, professional and very well done videos. I really enjoy each one of them.
lol the same exact thing happened to Trek Trendy. Then they invited him back for an apology flight. But his 1st and your experience is exactly what you get with them.
Some airlines feel like they are doing you a favor. I hate when businesses think this way
The best air line I have ever been on is air new Zealand. Every flight was the same service, nothing but friendly. Qantas is another air line I have flown with, and I found them to be a mixed bag of service
That was a horrific experience- the norm for air Canada
I flew Air Canada from Toronto and they were incredibly rough to me too
What a control queen!!!!
Air Canada has never been really worth while to fly.
Never had a problem with them.
@@airwipe1639 Same here.
Disappointed
My uncle works in Air Canada
He said he received a report about this flight
He said that he is investigating the problem
Did he receive verification from the pilots?
some cabin crew member verified it
@Aus Flyer Yeah, why not?
I hope they get the "entire legal package"! :)))
I had a similar experience when I flew with them Business Class last March from Seoul to Frisco......the first thing one of the flight attendants said to me as soon as I stepped onboard and was filming was "you are not allowed to film the crew as stated when you bought your ticket". Very unwelcoming and unprofessional. Will definitely NOT fly with them again!!!!!
I'm not flying AC after watching this.
Glad that there are better alternatives.
I really enjoy your criticisms they're are honest especially on your xiamen video, they're needed
OMG.. Air Canada is on my "Do not fly with" List. Thanks for this video Josh.
Well one thing the cabin manager did well, very strong first impression!
I flew AC from LHR to SIN, via Bombay, after landing in Bombay we were evacuated from the aircraft due to an avionics bay fire. Spent two nights in Bombay in a hotel before they finally got me out on a Turkish airlines flight to Singapore. We were kept in the dark almost the whole time there. Oh and Yes, it was called Bombay then.
I had very bad experience air Canada 2018 I was fling from Bombay. Cabin crew very rude . I think my flight time around 13 hr it was very bad experience I was with my two kids and wife , I evan wrote in the client remarks in the flight tv remark section . This not a first time I think 2012 from London to Toronto same Cabin crew so bad . Hope Canada will correct they mistake and they will give good training to cabin crew .
Thanks!
Rainbow and sunshine’s just reminds me of Sam Chui’s videos haha
Yeah I have never seen a negative review for any airline from Sam Chui. I like his videos but sometimes I think he doesn’t want to fall out of favor with the airlines or even SkyTrax.
I hope there will be more people like this Rockie in the world..
U look great 👍 in that shirt Josh!
The best reward of your experience is for Air Canada to do exactly what you sarcastically said you were not going to do.. AC should smack a GoPro on David's head for an entire flight so he can experience how his actions make passengers feel!
I worked for airline management for 10 years, and cabin crew can make or break a flight. The worst experience I ever had was as an employee of the airline by the senior cabin FA. When they are bad, it does trigger rage, for those brief moments we get to experience what it's like to be a prisoner, and be subject to injustice... Fortunately it's infinitely inconsequential compare to real world injustices and discrimination, but it's a glimpse nevertheless to the inhumanity so many persons across the world experience on a daily basis
Many years ago, I had a senior air canada stewardess yell at me because I didn't know where to put the newspaper they had given me when boarding. I will never fly with Air Canada again.
“Passive aggressive” - Canadian hospitality at its best mate lol smh
This has been my general experience with Canada as a country: at one point I was singled out at Toronto airport because my English was "too good" (actual words used by the police thug) for a French passport holder! My response ever since has been: Canada? Never again!
In Canada?!? Are you sure it wasn’t a US customs person?
@@redlady222 .... Toronto Pearson airport. My whole point in flying to Costa Rica with Air Canada had been to avoid the harassment at US airports, but it turns out that Canada is no better!
People say that Canada discriminates against "brown" people more. But in my experience, even recent European and American arrivals are quite effected. For example, I know Europeans who are told they don't have "Canadian experience" and are rejected for the job
Ahhh C’est dommage! Yup we suck 🇨🇦👍. And I’m a Canadian Veteran saying that! I’m ready to leave!
@@MoosefromCanada .... I have much love for the Canadian people. But sadly, Canada is turning into the US when it comes to police and politics.
Hi Josh,
Wow! I can't imagine being blatantly threatened in such a way. Being a Canadian, I'm sorry that Air Canada presented themselves so poorly. In the end--as uncomfortably enduring as it must have been--I was pleased that David apologized and that you accepted his apology. Equally, I was pleased that Air Canada had invited you to their headquarters and that you also flew again with Air Canada at the end of July. They do deserve a second chance. Can't wait to watch the outcome of that video. Fingers crossed!
Darryl
@joshCahill Congratulations, for being honest, you are one of the few who doesn't sell themselves, and that's why you're the only one I follow on the subject.
Fact: Air Canada cabin managers are chosen based on seniority, not merit.
I think it's an isolated incident.. I took air canada from Toronto to Vancouver and it was fine .. business class.. but yeah .. after this I'm not taking them again .. no excuses for that kind of behaviour
Boy soles it is usually isolated. It’s just not nice when being caught on camera. When someone tells you s/he is filming with authority, the only thing to do is to cooperate. It’s good for everyone. Who stands to lose except the airline itself
Amazing review. I like the fact that you post honest reviews and not fake advertisement. I like flying with Air Canada but last year I was on a flight from FLL to YUL and as I was walking inside the plane with my GoPro in my hand one of the flight attendants asked me to turn it off. She said I could not film. Weird!!!
I was shocked by your report on the treatment you received at the hands of the Air Canada Cabin Manager!
I see from comments below that this incident is being followed up on and may be reaching the highest levels of management at Air Canada, as it should!
With the welcome you received from the Air Canada ground staff and the welcoming aboard from the Captain himself, only to be so disrespectfully treated by the cabin staff would turn anyone's experience upside-down.
Hopefully your 'second-chance' flight with Air Canada went much better as the experience you had previously with them is NOT what Air Canada stands for, nor is it what we Canadians expect from anyone representing this country!
The Cabin Manager of your first flight is just damn lucky I wasn't his supervisor or he would be flipping burgers at some ratty greasy burger-joint!
Keep up your interesting, honest, even-minded reporting. As you have said, travel is not always sunshine and roses, just as life is.
Keep the faith buddy and fair travels as you bring us some of the BEST travel reports on UA-cam!
PS. We're having a gorgeous Summer in Vancouver if you're planning a trip out this way. :)
I’d like to know more about your approach to privacy. I’ve seen unblurred faces in your videos. If I was sitting on a flight and a passenger had cameras all around him with me in the sight line, I’d be pissed and asked to be moved.
exactly!
Come the next recession, those employees with poisonous attitudes (like that flight's purser) at major airlines will mostly be utterly axed, and left bewildered as to what happened.

hey josh! i just wanted to say that i love your videos and your accent
I wonder if that cabin manager still has his job? When you think that inappropriate things happen, only 10% gets caught. That means there were 10 other times. And why would he want to pick on an economy class passenger who is obvious known Air Canada management.
As a paying passenger you have rights as well.
Rights....

If anything journalists are more public than anything.
As journalists you don't need to give good news.. the only thing that a journalist has to abide by when it comes to ethics is pretty much giving the opportunity to talk to both parties.
But air Canada doesn't want to respond so that's their choice.
I would call him a reviewer or a critic.. since he reviews the service... but you can be both of those and still be a journalist.
I hate to burst your bubble, but today, as soon as you step inside an airport, you relinquish your rights, you no longer have any; and if you think you do, well let's us just say, you should lose those silly thoughts real quick.

Curious, where is your camera when you have shots where it is facing up (such as from a carry-on). It must be hidden or else the people would know they are being filmed. The microphone in your shirt collar seems easy to tuck in and hide....camera is another thing. Thanks
Yes, typical air Canada. Inconsistent, unprofessional and everyone does their own thing, even in terms of safety. Crew walking to the gate, starbucks in hand, late, gliding past queuing signature class customers, laughing and indifferent. Totally unprofessional. My experience with air Canada was abysmal. Unfortunately, Air Canada cabin crew have a history of passive aggressive behaviour. Their union is so powerful and makes it nearly impossible to fire these drags.
My guess is since the airline is so subsidized that the cabin staff is aiming to reduce the number of passengers per flight. Even the cabin manager, if one thinks about it.
The plane flies whether there's 30 or 250 people on it. They get paid the same. Now tell me what's easier, serving 250 passengers, screaming babies, and cranky elderly people, or a nice quiet empty.. Airline operates no matter what the livery manifest says, and an airport will most likely give gate priority to half full plane, in turn easier on the cabin crew.
Air Canada's cabin crew seem to average over 45, so physical labor is not on the top of their list. Best thing is the airlines powerless, as a strike shuts down everything and is bad press for True Dough !!!!!
1. Airline is heavily subsidized, operates no matter what
2. Tail wags the dog, so the crews shape the Airline as they wish
3. An empty plane is easier to service than an full one
4. Paychecks and Raises are gurranteed, no incentive to improve
5. Airline innovates by cutting passenger comforts, and charging for irrelevant things.
Blame the unions. Red scare taught you well.
@@jacintofernandes2907 Not all unions are bad, but you have to admit, firing a bad employee is made much more difficult if they are in one. What is red scare?
@@jacintofernandes2907 So the unions that keep people from being fired despite being incompetent assholes are blameless? Care to explain why?

Hi Josh! There will always be people working in the air who are totally ignorant to other peoples wishes. I spent 20 years as cabin crew and I always tried to have this attitude that my passengers are paying my salary and they come onboard with a hope of a great experience and this is something I wanna provide. If I were this cabin manager on this AirCanadaflight I would have briefed my crew like this; "Today we have a guy with us doing review on us as carrier and as crew. Treat him like you treat everyone else and this means; givne them all the best service. He will be filming onboard and this is a grand opportunity for us to show that our passengers has picked the best airline. So, crewmembers; get out there and shine, like we always do".
As a Canadian, I have flown on Air Canada many, many times. I would say that from most of my flights with AC, they tend to be very rude, abrupt, and most AC employees seem to hate their jobs.
Why do you expetc people to treat you like a king? You are just a passenger.
@@Achineche Atleast I would like to be treated like average. We can compare Air Canada to there rivals and if treated way below average they are not good.
@@Achineche Being treated with respect is NOT being treated like a king. Please let us know where you come from so that I, at least, can avoid that part of the world. Thank you.
That's not true. I fly AC for past 28 years internationally and it's as good as any other international airline. I know people who are working for AC as flight attendants with seniority and trust me, they have no reason to hate their job. I wonder where you get that 'they hate their job'??? In fact, they're financially rewarded better that Emirats on beginning level. So, just because this guy had ine negative experience and this is his own personal opinion, that doesn't mean that AC in not good airline.
Yikes.!! Sounds horrible..would never fly with them.
Sorry you had such an uncomfortable experience. As a Canadian, I have to tell you that AC is not very respected here. They used to be one of the foremost airlines in the world. Their service and reputation has deteriorated badly over time. I do not fly anymore, but if I did, I would only fly AC if I had no other choice. However, that being said, I'm glad they "made it up to you". BTW, this is the first report of yours I have seen. I appreciate your honesty.
Brian does air canada charge for head sets ? I read that once, a few yrs ago. Still happening ?
Sorry, haven't flown AC in a long while, so cannot answer your question. However, last I heard I believe they do. I think there are a few airlines that do charge for headsets, but not 100% sure.
People shouldn’t be saying things that are not true. I have been flying air canada now for 20 years and every year qualified as Gold Elite member. Air canada service is exceptional good. I flown all the three classes of Air Canada, both short and long haul. Looking forward to many flights with my beloved airline.
You must be in a minority. Every time I hear comments about AC people are complaining about the lack of service and uncaring crew members. Any comments I have heard like yours, are very few and far between. If you have never had a problem, consider yourself very fortunate.

It's 2019 and Air Canada of all airlines doesn't need to act like Air Koryo. Air Canada should brief their crews that aviation videographers are huge now, and competing airlines recognize the immense benefit UA-camrs are for their brand.
Look at the Canadian airline Westjet. They rolled out the red carpet for UA-camrs (even the one's that refuse free flights) for their inaugural LGW to YYC 787 service.
Lastly, the United issue should encourage Air Canada to welcome documentation of their superior service. It should be a source of confidence and pride. Air Canada seemed to try to make it right, but what happened... happened. Hopefully Josh's experience can have a positive impact on company culture.

If it a norm in air canada nobody should ride in it. You want to be fu**k by this bully and it group ride air canada.
Yes n no!
No thank u to cameras, not near me or children!
You have clearly shown many ppl! They can broach airline u know this? Legally.
A hidden became !!!
The airlines who don't want you to film know that their airline is shit n not up to the standards it needs to be only people who have something to hide don't want u filming n that tells me all I need to know and AC I would never use again.
I wanted to go to your instagram to ask if you can review Air Canada. Thank you very much Josh. ❤❤❤
In my experience, Air Canada can be rather contemptuous. One of the very few airlines I actively avoid.
Can be rather "contemptuous," you mean disdainful, disrespectful? I think l can come up with adjectives far better suited for their service: Obnoxious, horrifying, ignorance, unqualified, not worth the paper they're printed on. I could be more explicit, but I'd be lowering myself to their standards, so l will refrain from doing so.
I can see your discomfort and anxiety on the aircraft. It is sad how one person's rotten, haughty attitude can spoil what otherwise had the potential to be a great experience and review for Air Canada. Well done to Air Canada's ground crew and Pilots for acting professionally. Sadly, all their good work gets tainted by the cabin attendants' unprofessional attitude. I am sorry you had to experience that bad hospitality.
One thing that cabin crews often forget is that passengers rarely remember what the aircraft looked like, what amenities they were given, how the food was. Most of it is really average and not very memorable, even on Air Canada. One thing they DO remember, however, is how the crew made them FEEL.
Antonio Ramos Absolutely correct.
Very well said. A smile and warm welcome can make a huge difference
I agree. I refuse to fly Qatar due to a pursers horrendous attitude to my almost deaf 80 year old father trying to go to the toilet. I was disgusted and wish i had filmed this horrible man, i was mystified this guy was a purser with QR and therefore concluded the staff way below standard
Just based on your experience, I will never fly AC again. What happened shows you the LAXIST CULTURE of the cabin crew at ac
This guy speaks so many accents at the same time.
How many accents do you speak with Pish Tish Pullyerself?
That’s because he’s multi lingual, English, German and Czech and possibly Slovak speaking.
Most likely it was just a cabin manager that was on a power trip...so unnecessary
I always fly AC to Asia because I love the 787. It’s a mixed bag. While no one is rude, they are sometimes indifferent. They always service me which is fine but it’s inconsistent. Unlike Asian airlines there are a lot of older flight crew who seem like they are a little tired of the job. I would say when flying out of an airport from Canada the food is generally terrible but flying back from Asia, the food from Asian airline catering companies is far superior especially Taiwan or Japan.I fly them for safety, the 787 but service is hit or miss. That’s my honest review.
I fly to asia twice a year from yyz and AC is my last choice , I have many choices from yyz , eva is easily my first choice , if you want 787 go Korean there great also
Unions yo
AC only has a couple of Asian destinations. You'd be far better off flying an Asian carrier. Unless your destination is Hong Kong or Shanghai that is, because Air Canada doesn't fly to these major Asian cities: Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Denpasar-Bali, Phuket and many more.
I agree I don't like using more than 1 airline to get to my destination @@therock8224
@@ritchie2634 Also, it's almost always a lot more expensive to change airlines - so many airlines are offering a one-stop service between the USA/Canada and just about every major city in Asia. If you change airlines you may need to pick up and recheck your luggage too.
Welcome to Canada. I find Air Canada Service to be below average most of the time. Crew always seems to be having a bad day and hating their life. You don’t see them smile. Of course you also have nice and helpful crew but overall crew always seems to think they are superior. However they are saving the world from Covid . They will remind you faster than the speed of light when your mask drops below your nose. Sometimes rudely. But go ahead and sneeze and cough while eating and drinking that’s ok.
You should havent boarded the plane. That treatment would be enough for them. File a complaint against cabin manager and crew to Air Canada's CEO
@mariha asif Absolutely right! I think the Cabin Manager was doing this for long time. That person is a bully. No doubt about it.
Yeah but by boarding the plane he can make good content out of the situation (he began tweeting about the experience as soon as the aircraft took off). A little bit of discomfort for a bunch of good content. Nothing at all wrong about him doing this - gotta be strategic.
Air Canada’s unofficial slogan : We are not happy until you are not happy.
Screw that
Its the other way in reality : We are not happy if you are happy.
@@digit313 🤣
Well Air Canada ... you must be so proud of your Cabin “Manager” and his “customer service attitude and sense of hospitality”. Now over 36,000 viewers ALL OVER THE WORLD at this writing have heard of this incident. Great PR work 👍🏻. And here’s what’s so troubling ... the Commander of the Flight (the Captain) welcomed Josh on board in front of the Cabin “Manager”. That alone should have clicked with the MORON to stop and apologize. No matter what you, Air Canada Public Relations, does now ... THE DAMAGE TO YOUR REPUTATION IS COMPLETE. 👍🏻
Was not just the 'cabin manager'.
Yep he poisoned the whole crew. An FA should have slipped a note to cpt right away to check comments. And should have been an immediate upgrade, rolls royce treatment including foot massages and shoe shing and yes bust out that caviar you stole.
To be aggressive with you as you board, taking 4 hours to apologize, asking you to give them another chance then getting an email with what sounded like more aggression towards you for what you do, I’m not sure I would want to fly with them again anytime soon. ❤
Or ever
As a Canadian, I avoid Air Canada for any international flights. Even American carriers don't suck as much.
I respectfully disagree. I fly regularly with AC internationally, to Europe, long hauls and they're as good as any other national European airline. To compare AC to any American airline is ridiculous.
@@luciasaunders9736 you're right, that would be insulting to the US airlines.
Don't be so dramatic, it isn't terrible, they are up to par with competition, which is Westjet, American, United
@@luciasaunders9736 American Airlines have good international service, especially compared to air Canada. To say otherwise is to be in denial, or a sense of Canadian insecurity and inferiority complex to the us.
@@KanyeTheGayFish69 But both Trudeau and Biden suck equally as much. I believe they're in a race to see who can be the most pompous arrogant douche.
They screwed up. They know they screwed up and it seems like they're trying to make good.
I'm looking forward to Part 2 to see if they pull it off.
Air Canada ,cabin manager on a POWER TRIP. WELL done josh.🇦🇺
Cartier Gemmell I’m a former flight attendant (quit a few months ago) and I can assure you: POWER TRIPS IN MANAGEMENT ARE REAL. It’s a plague. Horrible!
What’s a power trip?
Power trip on one side absolutely... but also entitlement on the other side...not much room for meeting in the middle 😖
13:33 he DEFINITELY got a message from ground staff at HQ bc of your post and followers tagging the company that they sent a message to the pilots to try and avoid a PR nightmare 😅 AC is the worst and super sneaky - sincerely an EX AC Flight Attendant
I love how weird things keep happening with you and you tackle them in the best way possible without worry :)
Well, the next time keep a voice recorder on yourself, on the whole time so you can expose their real face. Hypocrites!!!! Shame on Air Canada!
good idea! but they might come after him for one-sided non-consented recording too
@@alfchuah yes and no, it all depends on each country's law, different countries may have different laws about voce recording where you are actively participating, as well as different laws for uploading content
@@timmytabasco1891 that's interesting. That would have to be the same with video recording too then right? And if true for video then the government wouldn't use CCTV as it would be unlawful?
Timmy Tabasco it’s illegal in. Canada but the flight departed from London
jordanaus75 CCTV in public spaces to film is allowed. A plane is private property hence you need an individual’s permission to record them.
WHAT?!
How could Air Canada do this?!
I mean, I've never flown Air Canada, but I knew they were reasonably good. But this...the manager who said and did these horrific things...he should fined and fired.
Somebody didn't like being filmed, the service manager didn't handle it in an appropriate way. Honestly this just shows that policies haven't caught up with technology.
Maybe the cabin manager is so used to bullying his juniors that he thought he could intimate you. He was definitely wrong for threatening you and he wanted to show you he's the boss. He should be hauled up for his uncalled for behavior. Good that you did not leave the flt and he would have "won"! Keep doing your honest good work cos it is such a fantastic job you are doing. Keep it up Josh 👍👍👍
Earlier posting.... typo..... I mean intimidate you and not intimate you
this is insane, how could they treat customers like that especially when everything was already approved
You do make a difference Josh, I respect you for that. As you said, you have to work hard to earn a title of Cabin Manager, but that guy was Super-rude to you.
