Love to see NH Hooning. We are severely under recognized for our Hooning abilities up here. We have the best roads, the best conditions (rain, sleet, snow, sun) and the best drivers IMO. Hoon Free or Die!
Quick reflex, ability of focusing, and sharp mind is more important in racing, than the car itself. Many people made fun of Ken Block that he is not talented and not a top driver, yet many tricks is hard (and impossible) for most of people to recreate what he did in the Gymkhana videos. Yes he had more special and more powerful race cars, and sometimes (not always!) he had to make more takes to make the trick perfectly, but I think He still was really skilled and focused during those incredible and stunning tricks with his cars.
Actually did this on the LIE...twice when my wrx was 2 months old. It snowed, and my dumbass had summers on in the middle of january. Got blizzaks the next day
If I were trying this I'd use the handbrake (very briefly around 45 degrees into the initial 180 turn) to swing that rear end around quicker, but not too long that you sacrifice the momentum you need to keep you rolling into that j turn. I'm thinking that would make it a little more tight and snappier, but either way it's hard to do a full 360 all in one move with that car unless it's wet lol. Great job 👏
I just want to know how many times it took Wyatt to get it before this video. Other than that, I really enjoy this series and hope to make it up to the school one day.
Might sound wild but when ive done it, i feel when the steering wants to naturally pull back the other way and i let go and catch it when its right, then correct after
My tesla did this in the rain once when i was trying to drift. Was going like 70 and for the first time in 60k miles it finally broke free and fully 360ed. Was very surprised but i was able to pull off the maneuver without hitting anything thankfully. Would i ever attempt it again? No.
Honestly shocked this doesn't end with an exploded transmission.
Us too!
Honestly, everybody I know who has one is waiting for theirs to blow, but I've yet to see one go. All pushing about 500 or more whp too.
As a 6spd WRX owner I can comfortably say
They'll only blow up if you launch them or make a lot of power
Props to the running camera man 3:35
Warden CO for the win!
Wyatt you’re not only an expert driver but also a wonderful teacher. 💯👌🏼

Ken Block and Travis Pastrana started their rally career here in NH at Team O'Neil . I would say we are the home of Hooning!
Yeeehaw! This was a fun one guys. Nice job.
Yes it was!
Hello from Argentina! Question: Why don't you use the handbrake for the first part of the maneuver?
Dang! Look at Baby Driver!
Gotta add this to the rally school curriculum.

Subaru should recognize this team's effort and consider putting this impressive video from Team O'Neil in their advertisements.
they can't do that.... it would encourage ppl in wrong way.. lawsuits
I love to see how capable the VB is in your hands!
This is amazing!
When the sunnies go down you know it is serious business
This training school definitely need a sponsorship from a tire brand
It is pretty!
can't wait to see if the handbrake upgrade helps make this easier.
Looks fun
It was!

How is power transfer from a 180 to a J turn? Also, Is there a runway nearby where you can do car stunts?
How would you do this move differently on a wet road?

Me too! Except in an 81 Honda Accord.
RIP Ken 🙏🏼
Would this be easier in a rwd car?
@@whatthe9078 Yes, with RWD you could use throttle.
You should put an old school bus on will it rally
Let's say we might of tried once but it didn't make it up the hill...still looking for a short bus.
@@Teamoneilrally lol that's awesome
Have you heard about Jean Ragnotti?
this is a guaranteed roll over in my car 😂
360 flip?
@@DriftNick lol that would be the case
At this point I'm expecting y'all to see how high you can jump it.
Love it. Was great to meet ya at OMR Chris, now to get my WRX transmission fixed so I can presumably break it again attempting to rally. 😆
Dubai drifts🧐
Pull the ABS, tractions control fuse
Maybe not pretty but definitely wasn't ugly
The top of 3rd in these cars is like 70mph I believe lmao
HES BACK! ngl, hasn't been the same without Wyatt.
Man these new subura impreza are really ugly. And don't get me started on those gargantuan plastic wheel fenders. Actual travesty......
