cling film is actually a good shout for masking, i just used bin bags and tape

Looks absolutely lethal !! But is it road legal ? Have you ever got pulled up? And how’s the visibility at night when you are driving?
I'm thinking about doing this but this looks far too dark. Think I should be good with one or two coats? Or am I better off buying pre cut tints?

You do you look at that after 2 coats and say “ yeah I need that to be darker”??? 😂 there’s no way that’s passing an mot like that

@@drex9395 used brake fluid to remove then retried spraying lighter, removed again... Better to buy tinted already or use film tint

@@K1scarcrazy depends. It's illegal but not everyone cares, especially if the brightness is enough for it to not be dangerous
How long will it last before you should do a fresh coat?
Wow love your video it's so raw and funny but I just never thought of using cling film to mask off with its so simple but the simple ideas are always the best ideas.
I would have shook the can first as per instructions then there wouldn't have been any spots or splatter as the thinners in the can will have fully mixed with the paint.
Best video and I have already shared it with a professional painter I know 😀
Forgot to mention I usually stand the can in a container of very hot water before using it, this plus shaking the can works really well for me.
are the brightness of the lights badly reduced?

I have some inner slight scratches on the inside of my lens after I opened them, was wondering if a little spray would work to cover this on the outside or I will need open them and repair the scuffs.

So I paid someone to spray tint my headlights and now they are foggy and not as bright as my stocks were & my lights were perfect before.... how do I fix ????
If it's a spray then just remove dude.. easy fix break clean will work you can also try nail varnish remover which is good or even 100% alcohol cleaner
H4 Torque - oh okay bro. Is it normal that’s it’s foggy tho with spray ? Idk why it’s foggy after he sprayed them. I would keep them but I don’t like the fog. Doesn’t look clear on the headlight
dcmasta123 use goof off instead of break cleaner... less corrosive break cleaned can cause stress fractures of you use too much

it all varies on what state u live in. I would however invest in led bulbs if you don’t have them already. That way at night the light shines through better.

how do you get the tint off
It usually fades within 6 months or so depends how thick the coat is but you can remove it with some gasoline and a rag

Of course not!! The whole point of tinting them is to not see anything at night but to look good in the day.
Mines white so I did make sure everything was covered but some of the black overspray showed
