Used 3 coats of vht
and 3 coats of clear coat

Pro tip: open your hatch/trunk if your light is split or in the spray zone, and tape off the inside of where the light is, the spray tends to spray through the crack and can leave a whiteish color mark on your paint, which sucks to get off even if you’re using latex (plasti dip) spray
Also... use paper and painters tape....

What is the purpose for the second and third spray? What are they? I only have the VHT.
Very nice job mate. Do you think one can would be enough to give the headlights the same amount of coats? Oh, and a quick tip, any little cracks or imperfections in the lights - if you give them a quick sand with a really fine wet and dry and then buff them with Maguires ultimate compound, it'll remove them and give the spray a better finish.

@@steveb2079 after - you want the tint to sit on the plastic, not on top of any polishing products. Just give th a decent clean before spraying
If you wet sand it to a even haze, use some compound, then go over it with polish it will look even better. Good job though.
Will it still stay shiny without wet sand and polish ?
I agree. Wet sand after the nightshade to get the blotches then wipe off then hit it with compound

There’s plenty of videos of how to remove the tint on UA-cam. I’ve seen some go from very very dark back to oem within a couple minutes

The most important question of them all … is it 100% ROAD LEGAL?? Have you ever got pulled up?? And can you do the headlights tinted ???? (Not as dark) but can you tint your headlights in the uk?
Not sure bout uk but in the us as long as its not that dark

@@Calonv it will be exactly like before, it will just remove the tint
I cant see my lights are there brighter bulbs or is there a way to lighten the coats
Sand it with 1000 grit sandpaper
Until you have removed enough of the paint, then spray clearcoat paint, and then sand with 2000 grit. Finally polish
Sgmhould have masked over the clear.
