Your game is a gem, I just hope you focus on tutorials and UI more so things are more clear to follow and learn how to do. The last time I played I really liked it but I felt the learning curve was too high because these aspects were lacking and I'm just a casual gamer
Your game looks pretty good, I'm interested but will wait for more content to be added before buying. There's one thing I'm curious about. Are all locations procedurally generated, or only the random encounters on the world map? What about loot? Do some locations have fixed treasure or is it all RNG?

I remember this dungeon from first demo version. This game is a treasure. The ragdoll stuff is so funny sometimes with the body parts flying all over. Hidden spells to find. Skyrim type skills, what's not to like? Tongue-in-cheek humor, just wonderful.

What's not to like? It's shallow af. Unfinished and slow moving. Tries to do a lot of things but hasn't really mastered any of them.

Bought this game when Splat did his last video on it, and while the game is nowhere near feature complete the foundation it has laid is phenomenal. Everyone we have so far was clearly designed from a fun first standpoint, so if the game keeps growing along this same path then it's going to become a genuinely amazing RPG.
My favorite thing in this game was pushing "C" (I think it was C) and everything goes slow mo - which is pretty epic when fighting a group of mobs and being way more tactical in a crazy fight
That fall after the cave the goblins were watching you like "damn bro, I think he's hurt bad enough already".
That jump fail was one of the funniest things I've seen! :D
This game is a real treasure, the first time i fired it up i was locked in for hourssss. i come back from time to time, and theres always tons to do.

I've played this game, its super fun, there's a huge section of the town that you can build up with upgrade buildings. At this point as far as I am aware, you cannot build those buildings and make them actually DO things, I played for 12 or 15 hours until I got to the point where that started to be a thing, and had a blast. I'll be picking it back up for sure once the buildings are fully implemented.
Some of the buildings work; but sadly like 80% of them have missing/'coming soon' features which makes them pointless for now. =\

This game came up on my steam discovery queue last week or so and I really wasn't too interested in it then- I thought it was another beat-em-up VR game. I don't have VR equipment so I ignored it right away. Your video has made me go back and add it to my wishlist instead. Great work!

like was said in the video, there are definitely asset games that are labours of love that just maybe don't have an art budget or its a really really small team (like, one person even) and they can write code really well, but can't model or draw for the life of them. Its definitely hard to find them sometimes, you have to wade through all the shitty asset flip shovelware, but that's why there are people like splat doing what they do to make it easier to find the shiny good ones.
As a side note, I've been following this game's development for a couple years on tiktok/youtube and had played the really early arena demo. I got a steam notification that it had released, but waited to purchase it until I had watched Splat's first video on the game back in november/decemberish.

To me, it’s highly probable that among the most immediate of things to add, is Grapple Goblins. Keep the fights with pressure.

So, bought it the day before yesterday after some humming and hahing, and spent seven hours so far. Mainly use spears in combat (copper spear right now, will move up to iron once I can find a smelter and anvil), with a small fireball, a slow-moving lightning orb, and a double-barelled pistol when I feel like mixing things up. Been fun.

Honestly, this game is really well made. After seeing this video, I bought it and played for 10 hours straight (and thoroughly ignored the story for those 10 hours). There is a TON of content in this already. Well worth picking up.

he's overleveled for the area he's in. Its also a bit of a power fantasy style game, but there are more difficult enemies.

Have had this in my wishlist since your last review. Looks like it might be time to pull the trigger. I like fun, so... [update, just read the Steam reviews again; many recent reviews still say it's not ready yet - broken bows, lots of content still missing, map is too large for no reason, etc. So, I guess it sits in my wishlist a bit longer]

I may have missed it as I work while I watch, but can you craft from inventory?
I think this game could be great, and it's already really fun, and people should try it. Also, it seems to have foundational issues that haven't been worked out yet which can be very annoying, at least to me. If the existing problems aren't addressed, I don't see a point to the developer adding more and more to the game because those problems are going to express themselves through each added system.
Try it for yourselves though, maybe increased sales will help the developer to refine their product.

Picked this up after your video before on it and had a blast until I came to a weird bug or... system. Everytime I left an area and tried going somewhere else I'd be in combat against 8 bandits and just get absolutely destroyed by their range and magic. Like, as hard as I tried no way around it.
I should reinstall and try again though.
