    In this interview, our lovely member Pauline shares her story of how she quit smoking 30 cigarettes a day after 45 years with the CBQ Method on September 13, 2019.
    That was the first time Pauline tried to quit smoking, and she wasn’t even that committed when she started our program. But her commitment grew as she went through the process, and she succeeded on her first try!

    Pauline is adorable, and a strong willed women! I agree that the biggest issue that drove me kooky was the mind games of smoking, constantly thinking " I want a cigarette, do I have enough cigarettes? Always being seen sitting outside by my neighbors smoking( hated that), the smell of the smoke on my clothes..it went on and on, drove me nuts..my mind is finally quite again😌 lol..until I heard you Nasia say to change the thought in my head to " I want air" instead of " I want a cigarette " , as a person who likes getting into fitness by biking, running, working out and hearing my breathing progressively getting labored ..I said that's it! I just want to breathe air, fresh air!! Now I think I inspired my close friend to quit too..I love my new me, thanks for all your help,im so glad I found you and your method😁

    Thank you Nasia and Pauline - you are right the homework immediately started changing my mindset. Having to journal each cigarette is so important. It's what led to my first AHA moment.

    Thank you both for sharing. Im in the program now. Doing the homework IS the key. Im unfortunately haveing trouble with that part with kids and work. I have to dedicate a certain time of day to do it. I love the course and Im always so happy to see people succeed.

    Been a month now im down to 2 cig a day. 5 hits at morning, 4 hits at 2 oclock and 5 hits at 9pm. If i can do this thru Christ who strengthens me, so can you! Its not that hard lol.

    Can you please tell how can I stop for smoking for day or two at beggining, I want to stop very badly but after 3-5 hours I couldn't stop smoking.

      Hello, the key is overcoming the mental addiction. Pauline is sharing many gems in this video that help you with that!
      If you think about it, you don't smoke for 7-8 hours at night while you sleep. Why is it that when you're awake, you can stay away from smoking for only 3-5 hours? It's because your mind is awake. It's because of the mental addiction. Once you overcome the mental addiction, which is what the CBQ Method is designed to do, you will be able to stay smoke-free without using willpower, struggling, and counting the hours.

      @@politicalflashback.880 I tried for a week, everyday I'd smoke after 3-4 hours like you said, then I realized the reason, it was because there was nothing special about the quit day. so I made it special by saying to myself that I'll never turn of the logic switch again, never and I slept and started the day after and now I'm on day 10 and it's not bad as I thought it would be

    What About Quitting Chewing Tobacco? Much Harder and been Trying to for the last 22 Years.

      Hi, thanks for your comment. The CBQ method can help you quit chewing tobacco because quitting chewing tobacco follows the same principles as quitting cigarettes. Everything Nasia shares about tobacco applies to chewing tobacco too. The CBQ method works for smokers, vapers, and those who wish to stop using nicotine substitutes. 🙂
