I've been a smoker for 56 years! In January I had my lower right lobe of my lung removed. I had Stage 1A lung cancer, fortunately it wasn't worse, but I also have mild COPD. I'm a twin & we've both smoked 56 years always being together. Even with the cancer, I started smoking again (4-5 per day), but I'm done! It felt I wasn't healing right. I'm on day 3 & my chest & back feel better! My sister this week had all her teeth pulled so she can't smoke, but she's done too. If you can't stop after a cancer dx, you seriously need help & this video & more has truly helped me. I'm struggling with it, but I'm going to do it, otherwise, the only thing I have to look forward to is regret. I'll be 70 this year, it's not too late! Ty for your wonderful videos. I'm actually watching & listening.

Your words have helped me immeasurably to be successful this time around. I cannot thank you enough for developing this program. I watch a video every day to strengthen my resolve to finally be able to say, “I’m a former smoker! I’m done with it; the shame, the self abuse, the stink! Having worked with Kay in my hospice days, she is just one of those people who will inspire you and lead you on to be your best self. Love you both 💕

    This all resonates with me…
She was me and now I want to be her.
    My body can heal…
And when she said … I sat and smoked and subconsciously waited for my cancer. 😢 ~ this is me and honestly didn’t know how to describe that until you said it.

Kay you are an inspiration! So much of your journey resonates with my own. I discovered so much about myself doing the worksheets and writing down every cigarette was a real eye opener. The reason I started smoking was because I felt I could not express my true feelings to my parents. 50 years later still holding that fear and writing it out was a great relief. Adjusting to that emotional freedom still ignites great anxiety and I went over my quit date of last week. I will try your essential oil therapy and set a new quit date of July 21st. my 65th birthday. Much gratitude for sharing your story!

Oh, my gosh! Thank you so much! “I DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND FREE!” (In 2.5 hrs-after my yoga class-I will smoke my last cigarette! Already smashed and put mustard on the rest of my tobacco, papers, and filters before tossing them in the trash! And, I have, and just pulled out of the cabinet: food-grade peppermint and lavender essential oils!!! I AM READY!!! Have been doing the work, available to me from the method, for 2 weeks. I AM READY!!! I am so grateful that have been able to follow the videos, the website, and the FB group, since I can’t afford the program-really. Thank you, Nasia, for making that available for us that can’t pay-really!

I can totally sympathise with that moment when you are confronted with your smoking as ‘self abuse’ and ‘low vibration’.I too had changed so much about my lifestyle and diet but the fact that I still smoked was such an anomaly and depressingly held me back in so many ways. I’m so glad to hear your story and celebrate you raising your vibration and becoming more fully yourself. I’m three days in which is a big achievement for me but thanks to these messages I know I am done and ready to embrace my smoke free life. Thanks for the great interview.

I am a nurse, trying to quit.
Watching this really helps, thank u!!!
What really hits me is when she said that patient get so much sugar/candy in rehab for that dopamine hit.
That really clicked me... I worked in rehab for one year, and it was really crazy how much sweets we were eating (the nursing staff) during shifts... If we werent smoking.
I think that video really helps alot of nurses to click...
    Regards

This is really an eye opener conversation. Especially coming from a wellness person. What a contradiction - on one hand you are advising your patients on wellness and also you are struggling with it yourself. The journey and conclusion is quite motivating. I am also on my journey to quit smoking-a week old. I have been on and off it . I am using CBQ methods and loving it.

I identify with what the exsmoker Kay says! My oldest daughter and I are doing this together, and we're both realizing that most of the time, we're smoking bc we're BORED. For me, it's either bc I'm bored, or nothing more than an emotional habit! I'm sure the physical addiction is there after smoking for 46 years, but a lot of times, it's not the physical addiction that makes me smoke!! How dumb is THAT???!!!
