I loved your description of emotions being like a river, flowing in and out. Even better was the discussion about identifying with emotions. Rather than saying (and believing) "I am sad," we can say "I have sadness," or "I feel sad." We aren't our emotions. We experience emotions.

why can’t I stop when I was in the hospital for a procedure for five days and soon as I come home I wanted to smoke, I smoke privately the most is six cig a day, when I get off of work from a high school, of 15 years plus definitely and after eating two cig, and bedtime, I can even do two cig a day, but why I feel so attached to that, I have my family husband but I feel up like it eases my mind, I’m down to one, because I must quit, I have to do the one day two day at home, no cig at all, I’m listening to you because it’s a habit in the mind I must break that and I’m doing it with your video ❤🙏🏽

I relate to what the exsmoker Layna said about singing. Nasia tells us to find a POSITIVE reason for quitting. Mine is so that I can sing again! Right now, my voice doesnt have much power, I can't sustain notes, and I HATE that! I love to sing! That, and my health are definitely my reasons!❤

Loved your description of being present..... Just BEING rather than doing; and a feeling of childlike curiosity... I am interested in what you said at the end about "Finding out why you didn't want to be available".. Were you using the cigarettes to "escape" something or someone, like I was? Did that come down to control/trust issues? By the way Layna, I love your hair. Cheers

U know what?! I never smoked in my life. With 46 I had my 1st cig. All my friends r bikers... we live free, ride n do what is right. But I used to drink n ride my harley... Long Story short. Its all a lie! Alcohol makes u live in the past. So i quit... cigs r much worse. I regret the day when I started smoking. Now I am a 56 old biker n business man, I take care of my 35 employees, but I cant take care of myself. So sad!

What Im taking away from this journey is 5 things 1. There is a reason for smoking...we are running away from ourselves n quitting guides you to look at those reasons. 2. Self growth then happens. 3. You start to rewire ur brains. 4. You get to be n not do 5. You love ur own self then

Its interesting how you hold light smokers accountable for their habit because correct me if I’m wrong but smokers dont instantly go from smoking their first ever cigarette to smoking more than 20 a day instantly or over a short period of time but the addiction builds up over years & it needs more nicotine while the habit keeps building. When you do become a heavier smoker that is when not only non smokers but especially other people who smoke become irritated by you. You just lose respect from others, especially other smokers (often lighter) because when you are constantly needing a cigarette, it shows you have a big problem that is just gonna spiral out of control & personally I dont mind people having a smoke then & again but when its a heavier smoker, I really dont like having them around me & its pretty mean and they could be a decent person but you are always worried about them while they indulge in cheap dopamine so as a result you end up alienating yourself from other people, non smokers & lighter smokers. Plus as a lighter smoker, you can fall into the trap of falling deeper into the habit.

$1000.00 to quit smoking? you like all others only want to help the rich. You really dont want to help people. you know smokers are desperate to stop and you take advantage.

Hi Marsha, if that were true, we wouldn't be offering over 100 free videos on this channel and a free support group on Facebook. Nobody else is offering this! You've been watching our videos and commenting over the last week for free, and you're welcome to continue to do so. The CBQ Program is a transformational multi-award winning program that goes deep and requires more resources from us. We understand not everyone can join it, and that is why we are offering a lot of help for free. You're welcome to apply the CBQ Method by yourself without paying anything.
