Smoking Cessation Formula - CBQ Method Hi Nasia Davos! Lovely video as always! Very helpful! I usually have intense emotions at time ...maybe when I had a fight or someone did something or I did something which brings out intense emotions!!- I fell like turning to smoking ........I’m on my day 22 of my quit and I faced such a situation 3ce already....I can manage my cravings much better now but the times Of intense emotions inspite of knowing cigarettes are no help....Idk why but I turn to smoking.........probably because I don’t know what else to do.......I should learn to deal with yhat
Shehnaz congratulations on your success! Intense emotions are also caused by thoughts (our thoughts affect our emotions and our emotions affect our behaviors) so you can apply the strategies of this video to manage those thoughts too :)
I was previously successful in quitting. I lasted four months but have slipped up and found myself with my bad habits once more. It is all mental and I know I can stop smoking again. I’m grateful to be here (don’t get me wrong cravings suck) but something about re wiring your mind and taking control feels amazing. Stay strong everyone & thank you CBQ for the guidance 🎉
I have never thought of being in the state of "wanting"...this is so true...I don't really want to smoke, I want to not be bored, I want something to do, and smoking and drinking is my "to do"...
God bless you Once we know what the maze looks like it no longer becomes a maze!! Cravings last 3 minutes physically 3 min It feels like 3 months dont it?? Ugh I wish i never started smoking. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us Amen
These videos got me through a lot of my physical cravings when they were there, now they help with my mental cravings, which are becoming less and less frequent and also weaker
I slipped after 34 days. This video helped me before and I just forgot about it. I have to keep it fresh in my mind when cravings come. I'm back up to 6 days nic free
Nasia, thanks a lot for your work. I can’t describe how grateful I am… I’m so happy I’ve found you and your channel because your videos and your method have helped (and are helping) me a lot. I’ve finally managed to see the error of my ways. I’m from Russia, I’m 28 and I’ve been smoking for 11 years. I’ve always thought I would never do this for good. But now (and thanks to you) I really believe that I can do it and that I don’t need cigarettes anymore. My quitting date is today. After thousands of attempts (I’m not exaggerating, unfortunately) And this is my first comment on UA-cam;) I just really want to say THANK YOU. Maybe some day I will tell you this in person;) Thank you
Hi Alina, thank you for letting me know! You're right that you don't need cigarettes :) I'm so glad the CBQ Method is helping you and I wish you success on your journey. Hope to meet you in person too!
You must work for God because this program is working for me with very little discomfort ! I received a beautiful spiritual gift from God early this week that brought me to tears ! They were happy tears and tears of Joy Amen ! Thank you Doctor!
I'm so grateful to you Nasia! You have uncovered the main ticket to quitting that so many smokers struggle to find! Thank you for your videos! I started reprogramming my mind to be a non smoker on jan 1st of 2023. I listed as many triggers as I could think of. I identified 30 daily triggers. I ranked them from weak to strong and divided them up between 4 weeks. The whole month of january has been about tackling my mental addiction and its thanks you your method that I'm where I'm at right now! Week 3 of weakening triggers! My quit date is set for Feb 5th! I've gone from constantly being controlled by smoking to rarely wanting one! I use your advice on every situation! I talk back to my craving mind. I remind myself what I dont like about smoking. I watch your videos whenever I feel to overwhelmed by a craving. You are awesome Nasia! Also curious, where you are from? I've been trying to identify your accent because I love it!
for those of us who have addictive personality, then its time to work on that part of our personality. I have been addicted to just about everything but most of it was a lot shorter time before I said I don’t need this cigarettes have been only thing I have not been able to let go of and I hope I watching you over and over my brain will start absorbing all this information and stick!
$10.00 dollars per pack a day x 7=$70.00 per week x 4 weeks= $280.00 per month I haven’t smoked for 10 days now May 9 2024. I hope I can keep it up. I’m doing this cold turkey.
Thanks for your advice. Now I really understand why after months of quitting I still want a cigarette. Sometimes cigarette was the only friend, especially for men. You might communicate with too many people every day, but late at night you still fell lonely and you still want one cigarette.
This is wonderful and so helpful ! You are exactly right. We have been avoiding our feelings by smoking. Now it’s really a pleasure knowing I am working on myself helpfully and not destructively. By listening to myself and asking myself what will help always works. Bless you for this system

Loving the content, I quit smoking 2007, 2017 starting vaping and having the odd cigarette now and then but during lockdown I was smoking heavily I decided to stop again nearly 2 weeks now. These videos are really helpful thanks.
Omg!!!!! Lol this is sooo true ..Ive been trying so hard to quit ..ive been off and on because of these mental cravings ..and i couldnt understand what was going on .I understand now ...I'm going to give it another shot , and continue to try ❤❤ thank you so much ...Here is my sign that i have asked for 😂
I have so many many mental thoughts ....and it is a constant thing .I struggle so many times with this .I've tried many times to quit , and cant seem to beat the mental cravings.I will always keep trying tho ...Hopeful 1 day i will do it 😊
🙃 and today is 40th day without vaping or smoking. Still feels craving at different times in whole day and sometimes feels immense need and becomes very short temper at times but still fighting and firmly standing with my decision. Beside this, I'm doing my all day routine tasks, going office, spending time with family etc and still alive 😄 Nothing will happen with you as well. Just throw it and make yourself firm
Today is day 81 without smoking & vaping. Feeling much more comfortable and relax. Still feels craving of nicotine and sometimes thoughts of smoking but I immediately stops thinking and diverts my attention to other things and just after a few minutes I forget about smoking and feels comfortable. Gained a few extra pounds but feels more energetic and active.🙂
How long did you smoke before you decided to quit? What made you decide to quit? I’m starting tomorrow (Monday nov 2nd) I am scared of failure. I’m actually quitting a lot of things all at once. I need to be healthy again. I hate my life right now. I want better for myself and my family! Cheers
I have decided to quit smoking, tomorrow 09 November is going to be my first day without cigarettes, I hope I'm going to be successful this time, last time I relapsed after 3 months
Thank you Nasia❤️. I'm very grateful to you. It's my start of new life and your videos helped me a lot. Quitting cigarettes is my biggest achievement and I'm in forever debt with the CBQ team.
Amazing really helpful video, so many of my problems in my life that I link to smoking is addressed by this video. Thank you for sharing this information. I think understanding the background to addiction helps me, specific techniques I find useful include deep breathing and grounding in the moment, challenging both negative thoughts to stopping and positive associations with smoking by writing down in a small diary I have is also really helpful. Most of the information I have gotten from the CBQ method.
Same for me sir. You have to pick a day and stick to it when you wake up. Have that last cigarette before you sleep if you need it. I literally have quit 5 times and had set backs but I am almost there. I can feel how much I have learned from each time I failed myself. My true problem is to stay smoke free for life. I still cant see me not smoking. The longest I quit was for 3 months and than all of a sudden something bad happened and I went right back like I never quit. It is super hard to stick it like glue. Someone told me dont think about quitting all the way up until I am 60 because that's why I feel it is impossible. One day at a time will set us free.
Lol I have to same exact problem. It's always my last one. It also seems after I smoke that so called last one I want another even sooner than I normally would. But ya it's a vicious cycle of the last cigarette.
Thanks Nasia. I try to be an observer'' of my thoughts without acting on them, that way I can discover my addiction beliefs and challenge them with the Truth.. I think its a CBT technique..
Hi thanks. I quit for 1 week and all of sudden I walked in to gas station and bought black and mild cigar . I thought it wouldn't hurt if smoke one cigar. Smoking is not a moral issue but an addiction and we are not bad people for smoking. We are addicted.
Yes, for me it creates such a guilt. Ones that make me feel very judgemental of myself!
I agree entirely
~The nicotine is only in your system 3 days, 5 at most, so it’s more mental than physical.
It is indeed a bit of a moral issue. Tobacco smoke in horrible for pets and children, look up the info
