Great music for one of m'y favorite picture !
One of the most underrated and best movies of all time and this piano theme defines it to its core
This track is soo fu… awesome
Minds me of the music from The Conversation. Love this movie
Loved the movie. This music captures the insidiously mounting feeling of dread that is underlying the story. Time is running out and you can feel it.
Plus, seeing Central Texas in the 80s was awesome.
Playing this on the piano at 3am, the kids are not happy😂
Great idea, I saw this movie and didn’t think of playing it till now. thx
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️
OMG same here, I got my daughter a real nice keyboard from Christmas for piano lessons, I take that over at night wen I get up at 3, my wife is like imma throw that keyboard away you got it more for you than her 😆, but Santa mysteriously brought headphones too a few days later, I actually watched this for the first time last year and instantly knew somehow I had to play this on the piano, now I can all I want....at night, but I did go into Cosco a few weeks back and they had a piano on display, you know I played a little snipet of this and an older guy stopped dead in his tracks and looked at me and said you seem to have this thing down! Sounds good!! Felt nice to have a small audience 😁😀😀😀
In Texas ur on ur own
When I heard this.. fell in love with the movie
Since the quote is from the very beginning, either i was lucky that the rest of the movie turned to be worthy of love
or
it confirms there is love on first sight 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of the best music thank you cartel sir, best like
What a great movie. Even as a youngster back in the day, this was great. Watched it again recently and got even more out of it.
So bloody simple and yet so haunting.. kinda I hurt myself today to see if I still feel
I love this music score🎼🙂☕🥁🌃
The best movie and song
Excellent. Really blended with this movie.
That's right granny
I am the only Algerian who watched and enjoyed this movie
Nothing like TEXAS
@all4world WTF dude lol how do you know that you're the only one?
@@jeff_costello The proof that my words are true is a whole year that has passed since my comment, and not a single Algerian has responded to me
in Algeria you're on your own.. I guess like everywhere
this video has 22k views so why woud you say that no algerian have seen that movie, i'm from Setif Algeria and i have seen it like 18 years ago.
Beautiful and sad but with positive impact upon the ears, mind and soul...
Neo-Noir - brilliant.
Lovely.
WICKED, wow... 🎼
feels so nostalgic to me, my father had this music on a compilation he used to put on when I was a child, I love this theme so much it made me want to watch the movie but I haven't seen it yet
Worth watching, especially if you're a fan of Coen movies...
No reason to wait, it’s not like there is anything better being made.
Superbe musique. In my pocket !
Awesome 👍🆒👍☕☕☕🥁🥁🥁
Gorgeous
Carter Burwell as a composer is up there with Bernard Hermann
He’s incredible
I just watched Blood Simple for the first time
And I was curious who did the score
In Bruges has one of my all time favorite scores
He really hits the mark!
I swear I've heard this score in another movie. Am I crazy?
Same here. It definitely reminded me of something. Maybe it was briefly used in a game or tv series as an homage to the movie.
It is very similar to the break down in clubbed to death which feature in the matrix.

Brilliant
Blood simple and raising arizona are my favourite coen brothers films. I fail to find any other of their movies which are more ‘coen’
This whole film felt VERY plausible and was beautifully acted. Whatever happened to them all…!?
Do you mean the actors? They were all successful, I think. Frances McDormand and Emmet Walsh became part of the Cohen Bros. go to list for actors. Both are in Raising Arizona, for instance. She was famous for Fargo. He was in Blade Runner. Dan Hedaya did Cheers, Clueless and The Usual Suspects. Getz appears to have stayed busy too.
@@StromBugSlayer it’s good mate, was a bit of sarcasm!
Why is it so hard to find “crash and burn“ from this soundtrack on UA-cam? It’s my favorite track and it’s nowhere to be found from my searches.
Great ominous, pending doom track. Road to Perdition-ish too.
It FINALLY occurred to me from reading these comments that there is an obvious Carter Burwell/Thomas Newman similarity, and it makes so much sense considering they are hands down my two favorite composers.
It feels like that Julian Marty's upturned eyes are still staring at me very scary even after the movie... Like a flaming incinerator.
❤️
How Thomas Newman-esque.
Agreed - and it makes sense!
They also seem to be friends and share a smiliar kind of composing style.
For example: the score from "Three Kings" is composed by Carter Burwell but Thomas Newman also contributed to one musicpiece.
@@KaMui_AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs Which one? Do you remember the name?
So happy to see you say this. They are, hands down, my two favorite composers. I get so much joy from them, such depth of feeling.
@@sarahbreed6798 Me too!
Carter Burwell went on to score The Goofy Movie. While that film certainly had some good and memorable music, it is worlds away from this
Does this track appear in a different movie at all?? this is driving me crazy! i swear i recognize the tune from another film
Ale leje. Ty, a co z tamtym co zalega?
Którym?
@@dejvv2506 No ten łeb co zalega od dwóch tygodni.
@@radosawmiluk9129 A no ten. No co? Cały czas kręci że zgubił.
Similar soundtrack like Padmaavat
The movie to me is kind of hit and miss (even the Coen's didn't like it), but the soundtrack is great, especially this piece!
