Nice to see the kids involved. It does two things… they learn to appreciate the work that goes into the world that they live in. And, they have memories of helping dad with something significant in their lives. Who knows, they may even become tradespeople as a result.
When I was a kid, my dad was building our house and the kids ran the wires from one electrical box to the other. Still remember those days! Great to see kids helping Dad! 😊
Beautiful work, job well done. Really enjoyed when your son was in there, helping you. Plus the sound of children in the other room and your wife walking by. Thank you for sharing! 👌
I know exactly what it’s like to have kids running around my 21 month old so. Trying to climb the ladder while I have some cypress ceiling boards is a little nerve racking. Nice to see the family side man. Respect for not editing them out
Matt Cremona, I never took you for a barbarian before. But using a $$$ pattern bit and your precious planer heads on that enhanced-brutal MDF is just too much. I cry for the tools.
@@JV-pu8kx My real question was of course, why MDF instead of, say, poplar? Medite at $2 - $3/BF isn't a lot less than rough poplar, and nothing says MDF like the finish of a machined MDF edge, and it will dent more readily then even something as soft as poplar. There is some time value in less milling effort, I guess, and no propensity for movement.
Very nice work on the panels under the big windows. I started watching when you were welding your band mill. It's been a journey seeing your business and home thrive. Thanks.
Your daughter finally asked the question that I've wanted to hear; that should be posed to all hosts on UA-cam channels, who work alone. "Who are you talking to?" It is hilarious, and something I would find difficult to do as a host, and that is to think aloud in a pedagogical way, without a visible audience. So, kudos to your child, and keep on finishing up projects, and we'll enjoy whatever you do, mistakes and all.
It is so stunning, your detailing is amazing. I wouldn’t think it matters a fourth of an inch, but it truly does, very pleasing to the eye. I love watching your mind work, and the outcome. AMAZING, AMAZING WONDERFUL CREATIVITY
Some people may thing all you are doing is overkill, but since this is your forever home - why not make it how you want it to be. Looking great - Stay safe.
Yes, go ahead and celebrate, you've done a lot of really nice work. Looks excellent and thumbs up! Btw, the switch box by the door is 1/32" of an inch off-center, pls fix before next video 🙂. Thanks for sharing, Matt.
Looking great! Living in a construction zone is a challenge, but brings satisfaction when completed. The most I did for our house was 640ish sq ft of 18” porcelain tile. Since the underlayment was a particle board that needed to be replaced with plywood so mortarboard could be put down first. All the kitchen cabinets came out and sat in the living room while I did the kitchen floor. Since I worked a regular job the work hours for the home remodel made the job longer than we would have liked…oh well we love the finished floor! Oh I did notice the bucket is gone!
Matt the room is looking really good almost there just a few more details . I like your helper on the long board i believe in the long run it will make him appreciate the whole renovation hand maybe wanted to follow dad's foot step have a great day
Enjoyed watching you work and listening to your wife and children talking. Multiply the number of your children by 3 and you have the amount of noise my siblings and I could make😂❤
I have a feeling this project is taking a toll on you as per your comment, "Instead of doing what he wants to do, making furniture and sawing logs". So many details and your perfectionism (which I appreciate) makes it take so much longer. But that's you Matt, gotta be right or why do it? Thanks for the special appearance by Pancake. Thank you for detailing how this type of project is done correctly and completely! PS: Lindsay is going to love it!
I think that you maybe missing Matt's working philosophy in that he is still building furniture, but in this case the whole area including the sun room, the breakfast nook, the kitchen and the great room is a single piece.
Matt you are a genius. That room is looking awesome. I love the view from those huge windows. Is that a 16 gauge you were using on the trim at the end?
Wonderful job! I really enjoy your videos and your amazing work ethic. And you include your family and friends. I'm not a woodworker. I just appreciate your work and creativity and the way you take the time to share.
A superb job again. It was a joy to see the next generation holding up their end of the board. He has an amazing mentor. Good job customizing the factory window trim. Their R&D team needs to watch this video. It is too bad the collar on the router bit let go at such an unfortunate time. I am a bit suprised you didn't work a bowtie or marquee inlay into the solution! Joy to the world.
Ya! Whom are you talking to, Matt? 😂😂😂. Kids are so cute. Room looking so good can't wait to see it furnished. Great job as usual and thanks for sharing.
I've had that exact issue with a router bit, very annoying! I can't remember how, but I luckily destroyed the template not the work piece. You can buy sets of different sized set screws which would hopefully include the one you need.
Loved the question from your daughter, “Who are you talking to?”
My miter saw extension grew up and moved away. I sure miss him.
Getting a timber craftsman to renovate his own home is a guaranteed way to guarentee everything is going to take longer...but will be perfect.
Matt, you just need to think of the house as a *really* big piece of furniture.
Nice to see the kids involved. It does two things… they learn to appreciate the work that goes into the world that they live in. And, they have memories of helping dad with something significant in their lives. Who knows, they may even become tradespeople as a result.
Nice to hear your children and wife in the house. It's a living house. Good job anyway like always.
That voice activated, hairy roller stand you used at the miter station seemed very effective.
Love your active kids. 😂❤
Matt Cremona, THE most particular finish carpenter in the world... Wow, you are doing some gorgeous over-the-top work, sir!
He is a perfectionist, so I know how stressed he was cutting into those floors for the vent cover. I was stressed just watching him!!!!
I love it “Who are you talking to?”
Quite the finish treatment... home made fits , true to design...and tight &right..!
loving Max in the video. Father son project time is the best.
The voice operated miter saw stand is epic.
Getting your children involved is teaching them new skills that will come in handy in their life!! 😊
Also, free labor. :)
Back from Paint sounds like another complete department !
When I was a kid, my dad was building our house and the kids ran the wires from one electrical box to the other. Still remember those days! Great to see kids helping Dad! 😊
Max has a steady hand, just like his poppa. Nice.
Matt, the room and pass-thru are looking awesome my friend ! What a gift you have Sir !
Wow!!! Great job Matt!! All that finishing work always feels like it takes forever but the end result is sooooo worth it. Looks Amazing!!!
Matt your attention to detail, shows in the superiority carpentry. Love the tongue and grove. ❤❤thanks for sharing
Stunning craftsmanship 🎉 🙋♀️💖🇨🇱

Matt, wonderful work, and Kudos for the ThankYou to your son when he assists you.
Looking great love the finish around the windows
Matt Cremona, I never took you for a barbarian before. But using a $$$ pattern bit and your precious planer heads on that enhanced-brutal MDF is just too much. I cry for the tools.
My tools would stay pristine if I never used them

MDF is perfect for trim
Part 65!? No way! But feel free to keep them coming 😉 I'll be here watching
Love it when the kids get old enough to get some free labour.
Your right Matt, it definitely is looking like a room. Outstanding project
the attention to detail en patience during execution. Next level , respect
Fleißig und gründlich wie immer, kommst Du heute einen großen Schritt voran, gratuliere.
Nice touch with the black paint
Very nice work on the panels under the big windows. I started watching when you were welding your band mill. It's been a journey seeing your business and home thrive. Thanks.
That sun room is really looking good.
I really hope that visitors to your home will appreciate the work you have so tediously done!
Nice work Matt. It's nice to see you create a perfect finish like this.
Greetings from Belgium.
A labor of love 👍🌴🇨🇦
One word - Awesome!

Ok now your in the “good enough phase “ 😊
Terrific work. This is my favorite UA-cam series; I never miss an episode!
Nothing wrong with attention to the detail and being a perfectionist Matt....
Great video, very cool to see your son helping you. Thank you for being safe
Good Morning Cremona Family. (
It's looking gorgeous! Given your skills it must be hard to know when good is good enough.
Some people may thing all you are doing is overkill, but since this is your forever home - why not make it how you want it to be. Looking great - Stay safe.
That salty opening. I get you, Matt :)
(My kitchen cabinets are still half-done)
Yes, go ahead and celebrate, you've done a lot of really nice work. Looks excellent and thumbs up!

good job Matthew man with golden hands
Wow, that’s a lot of progress this time, well done it’s looking great. 😊

The room is looking super. Great to see the kiddo's helping as well.
Beautiful with a million dollar view.
You all weren't kidding with the "it's all trim"
LOVE THAT VENT SYSTEM 😉
I was never a fan of painting wood trim as mine is all stained, but the way you did it looks really good.
Really coming together Matt, well done both of you :)
Wow, love the integrated look and warm feel of all that trim!
Like the new sawhorse design
Beautiful! Love watching Matt the genius work!!?😊
Enjoyed watching you work and listening to your wife and children talking. Multiply the number of your children by 3 and you have the amount of noise my siblings and I could make😂❤
Matt, What do you use to fill your screw holes on your trim? Spackle? Everything is looking great!
Good stuff, whatever it is you're doing
Great job Matt! Thanks for sharing the video with us!💖👍😎JP
See you started the next generation woodworking training. Looking fab. Great job you are doing.
Good job helping out Max!
Look! Matt is standing on folding platform rather than a bucket!
Is looking stunning Matt, I feel for you... another step closer :)🤗
Great work! You sir are an artist at wood working.
I love the team work! In my experience, it is really hard to convince the little people to participate.

Nice work platform. I’ve got a couple of the smaller ones but that size looks handy.
That v-groove paneling would have looked amazing on the barn. Maybe the next time you build one...
Only 4000sqft needed
Ya! Whom are you talking to, Matt? 😂😂😂. Kids are so cute. Room looking so good can't wait to see it furnished. Great job as usual and thanks for sharing.
Looking good the detail is getting closer to being done.
Man I need one of those living miter saw material supports! :)
great work, classy!
13:20 Is that Star Wars I hear in the background?! Come on Matt... Use the force to lift up that board. 🤣
your a True craftsman i look forward to your videos
That is one long project. The room is looking great. I am surprised you did not finish it in this video.
