    This is a good set up for a lower horsepower bike. Makes it feel like it has more power than it does. I tried a TQ with a juggernaught on my 20 hp drag bike and hot damn it's super quick off the line. Wheelies like crazy! It will make it quicker too 300 feet but it starts to slip too much at high speed. My bike will get into the high 70's with a conventional clutch, but will only hit 57 with the TQ/juggernaught set up. belt is shredded in 3 passes. Thanks for the videos btw. good job!

    • @Black66
      @Black66  3 роки тому +3

      Thanks! I hear ya. These converters just don’t handle a lot of power very well. Good for lower power applications The converter is good on this bike for trail riding and stuff like that.

      I also tried one on my drag bike and basically got the same results bike would not go over 62 mph but the launch will slap your cheeks to the back of your head I can also smell the belt burning when I launch only made a few passes before I but the 3 disc back on

    I was driving my little modded coleman around my neighborhood and the Greenwood Indiana police came and pulled infront of me and jumped out and surrounded me like I was some hardened criminal. I am the president of my home owners association and I was just checking everything out, and it was very embarrassing! The police said I couldn't drive it without a plate because the neighborhood roads belonged to them???!!!??? They threatened to impound my coleman, so I just sucked it up and went straight home. I was less than a quarter mile from me house. It was the dumbest waist of police resources I believe I have ever seen in my life!!

      @@FartOnBoobies I don't ever police my residents. In fact, my residents give me crap because I don't get on people enough, that's why I have to drive around and appear to be checking things out. It's a volunteer job and honestly, it sucks. People damn me if I do and damn me if I don't. Folks just love to hate, but it's all good, someone has to assume to position, even if sometimes the position often times feels like being bent over while people kick my asshole. Ironically , I didn't ask for the position, the residents requested me.

    Here's what has me and my buddy stumped right now. we have the same setup you do but pre-juggernaut. We had just installed these torque converters but before the torque converter install I was hitting 50 mph with an 11 tooth on the jackshaft and 40 tooth rear. After torque converter install, I'm topping out at 38mph now.. doesn't make sense

    • @RiderDecker
      @RiderDecker Рік тому

      Dude I have the same issue, Ct200U ex with the 212 swap and gov delete. Hit 50mph with the stock 30 series torque converter driver. Put the jugg on and im hittng 35mph but revving up to 5k rpm... Just today I decided to but the mod 2 cam, 18lb springs, vm22 carb, billet connection rod and billet flywheel in hopes of getting the jugg to open up a bit more and use the higher rpm my engine should produce, right? Nope. Idk if its my jetting or what. Seems to run smooth with no break ups, but going from a 125 to a 130 jet starts making the bike break up. I'm pretty lost atm.

    • @R1CEBWL
      @R1CEBWL Рік тому +1

      I thought originally it was a belt issue. I double checked to make sure everything was aligned correctly, which it is. I had purchased a new upgraded belt that seem to work a little better but it still feels very stiff when trying to roll it on the ground. I know a little stiff is normal but this is excessive and I feel it's bogging my top speed down. Nothing in the rear has changed and as soon as I take the belt off I have perfect free roll again and everything is fine so it's not the wheel axle or the brake assembly. I'm just getting extra resistance from somewhere on the belt and I'm not sure why..

    • @RiderDecker
      @RiderDecker Рік тому

      @@R1CEBWL so yesterday I finished building up my engine. Happy to report that dropping a mod 2 cam, 18lb springs, Billet Flywheel and Rod gets me up to 55mph with the juggernaut. Revving to 6200 (on the street) with 3 psi in the rear tire. Lots of torque for offroading and plenty of top end for onroad.

    Did you ever have to do the valve lash with the govenor removal, vm22, and tc installs? How much did you invest total in this 196 engine. Thinking of doing the same

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 роки тому +2

      No, I don't mess with the valve lash with the governor removal, carb and stuff. The price isn't too bad. I think it was around $50 for the carb kit and $60 or 70 for the converter and around $30 for the header pipe. I added the parts list in the description on some of the Coleman videos.

    • @TheBiliken
      @TheBiliken 2 роки тому +1

      Did you remove the govenor but not have to replace the valve springs? Also I will make a parts list of the things you used. You didn’t use an7 degrees flywheelnpiece right? Also did you use the regular self tapping screw’s you used for the 212 govenor removal. Thanks again and I will report out how it works. I followed your video of the tillotson govenor removal and it worked great on our tillotson.

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 роки тому +1

      @@TheBiliken No, on the 196cc the springs where good enough to support the mild mods on the engine. Although springs are a good investment for the price and won't hurt . I use a 1/4×20 Allen button head screw with some Loctite or RTV for the governor arm hole and the press in shaft hole
      If you watch this short playlist, it shows step by step what I did to the bike. I would answer your question directly, but I do so many videos and parts swaps it's hard for me to remember the exact set up in a given video. The parts I used are in the description of the videos'. Love the Vids bro!!! Keep em comin!!! So I have a question. 1.)Does a Gov. bypass (zip tie/hole on Gov. arm) produce the same outcome as actually removing the entire Gov. assembly?
    2.) Can u do a vid on some 18 lb spring swaps? (Not sure if u already covered this, but If so, sorry:)

    • @Black66
