🤔 it kinda crazy that the man who brought one of the most iconic horror villains 2 life also directed some amazing family movies like this one - major Payne - and the last star fighter- the boy who could fly and others
"That was a bedtime story?" Toot toot! Payne's version of The Little Engine That Could had me rolling, even as a kid. "I saw what you did to my friend!!! Bam!" 🤣🤣🤣
yeah that shit still bring me to tears laughing everyyyyy timeeee lol! :D love it haha! When he starts like animating his legs kickin' with his fingers.. i die every time lmao
The only person I can remember who did something like this in real life was removing his infected appendix. It had burst and the only thing he used was a little novocaine for the abdominal wall.
Did you know Damon Wayons and Adam Sandler costarred in a movie together? It’s called *“Bulletproof”* …came out back in 1996 Also another good Damon Wayons movie is a movie called *”I’m Gonna Git You Sucka”* (1988) starring his brother Keenan Ivory Wayons
BJ dying of laughter was exactly how I felt the first time watching this movie back in the Blockbuster days 😂👏🏻 I still laugh the same every time I watch this movie. Great reaction!!
Asia, to be honest, your life was not complete without having seen Major Payne. I'm so glad we could remedy that for you and bring you into the fold! Good work BJ! One of my favorite movies of all time. Me and my friends can quote this movie front to back from so many times we've seen it. It never stops being funny!!
Keenan Ivory Wayans wrote, directed and starred in 'A Low Down Dirty Shame'-good movie. White Chicks w/Marlon and Shawn. Bulletproof w/Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler! I have always LOVED Major Payne! I HATE when ppl put this movie down, trying to say it was a flop. This is 1 of the best
Asia getting down ARETHA FRANKLIN "RESPECT" I loved it!! Did you know that song was originally written and recorded by Otis Redding but it was the Aretha Franklin version that got famous!! It became the anthem of civil rights and women's rights movements during it's trip to #1 in 1967
how can you not?! haha woman had pipes! i love her part in Blues Brothers, shes both funny and a ridiculously good singer/performer. one of the all time greats
"Oh I see you and your friend Cujo here have a little attitudinal problem needs some readjustin'. Well we gonna fix that quick, fast, and in a hurry" - I was 15 when this came out, this line still pops into my head every time I hear a dog barking, lol.
This is My favorite 90s classic love major Payne (1995) my name is major benson winifred payne! As of 0800, I am replacing Major Frankfurt as your commander officer! 😂😂😂
36:33 Dotson, the kid Alex punched, left Madison school for Wellington on the night they tried to sneak into Wellington Academy to steal the trophy. He told Alex that he was leaving Madison instead of going with them to steal the trophy. He was mad that he got demoted.
Going to the video store on a Friday night as a kid was awesome. I remember my parents would throw parties and my cousins would come over and they would rent us a bunch of movies and snacks
Aisa & B.J. When the cadets are running slo-mo in the rain... that a take away from Full Metal Jacket. And in the beginning when he mentions Charlie squattin in the bush getting stronger... thats a take away from Apocalypse Now... wirh Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando which you need to watch. 👍
BJ laughed at Asia biting her tongue??? Quick, Asia, grab your field knife and give him an attitude adjustment haircut!!!! 🤣 Man, I sure do enjoy watching you two enjoy these really great movies. Thank you for taking us along for the ride!
You 2 had me rolling! Love this flick. Military doesn't allow you much time in chow halls, still hear those voices; you got 5 minutes to eat and 4 minutes are up! Were eating wolf today, wolf it down! Were eating duck today, duck in, duck out! .....
9:33 Having gone Army basic training. His hand gesture after yelling is so perfect. Some drills have a tick after they yell at some. Mine was huffing. Also, he may not be his brother. But he is definitely his Uncle. Damien Dante Wayans. His last big, big role was Malibu's Most Wanted.
I thought major Payne was one of the most funniest movies I've ever seen. I used to watch when I was a kid.Thank you so much for reacting to this With Respect and kindness always your big Fan chris
My first 2 years in the Marine Corps, i was part of the silent drill team at 8th & I. Ive judged plenty of drill comps but we were never allowed to compete in them.
I think it’s great that Payne never once raised a hand against the boys to discipline them. He was tempted for sure but he restrained himself. He just hilariously and creatively punished them for their actions. And in the end he did mellow out.
This movie was hilarious, . . Its sad that nobody would be able to make this today without controversy. . Two other great movies with Damon are "Bulletproof" where he co-stars with Adam Sandler, and "The last Boyscout" . Where's the co-stars with Bruce Willis. . both pretty good 90's movie's.
My sons played this movie over and over along with Uncle Buck. When they would start crying I would ask to see their fingers. There would be a smile between the tears!
The main Wayans brothers that are seen are Keenen, Damon, Shawn, and Marlon. They have other siblings, sisters and brothers. In the film, the one who makes fun of Damon Wayans and is caught dancing is his nephew Damien Dante Wayans. Damien's mother is Elvira Wayans Damon, Keenen, Shawn and Marlon's sister. You should check out Malibu's Most Wanted, it features Damien Wayans and it is funny.
I came to see if anyone mentioned his nephew. I laughed right from the beginning when he put his arm around him like they were bonding, then, psyche. lol push-ups. Hilarious, talented family
That is how the Marine Corps works. If you get passed over twice for promotion, you get forced out. Reaching the rank of Major is considered a successful career for an officer in the Marine Corps. That doesn't mean there's necessarily a time frame, though. My father retired as a Lt. Col. (not from being passed over, but he just decided to retire after 22 years), and he was stuck at the rank of Captain for 8 years without being passed over once.
When this movie came out, my kids were in elementary and middle school. My husband was a Major in the U.S. Army. The kids thought this was the best movie ever made. We got it on video and they watched it over and over. We were stationed in Germany, and every kid on the base just loved this movie.
My son has slept with his eyes half open since he was a baby. He is a military helicopter pilot. When he was deployed, it really freaked out his whole unit to see him sleep that way.
Ironically, I just found out today after all these years that the kid Cadet Deak, the one he told in the beginning 🗣 " I am not your brother," is actually Damon Wayans' nephew Damien Wayans in real life lol
Another similar movie from 1996, and it's also military, with Steve Martin is Sgt. Bilko. It got a few other comedy folks, like Phil Hartman, Dan Aykroyd, and Chris Rock was in this as well, though not a large part.
Keenen Ivory Wayans is also a well known Wayans brother followed by Damon, Shawn then Marlon. I think it's another one that's not as famous name Dwayne. Keenen did a lot of action movies in the early 90's as well as a comedy called, "I'm gonna get you sucka" that had Damon in it. His action roles includes, A low down dirty Shame, Glimmer Man and Most Wanted.
You wanna see Damon Wayons play a serious role with some silliness? Check out the movie "Colors" also starring Robert Duvall & Sean Penn who play cops who aren't exactly buddies & its directed by Dennis Hopper. It's loosely based on the real life rival between The Bloods vs. The Crips gang war in L.A. It's a very underrated movie that deals with real life situation's although the characters are fictitious. Damon plays the part of T-Bone, a gang member & he does a great acting job being serious. Check it out if you haven't already. Not a big role for Damon Wayons but definitely worth a look!
3:38 Bad To The Bone is a song by George Thoroughgood if I remember correctly. May have mispelled his last name but this is obviously his most famous song it isn't his only hit "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" is another hit of his and I know one more but it's name is escaping me at the moment. Edit: Just remembered, the other song I am remembering of his is called "I Drink Alone"
Whats awesome is the kid that he told "I am not your damn brother" is actually his nephew and is in a lot of their movies and helps write for them.
What, yall coming with the facts today
"I am your damn uncle"
Hes in Dont Be A Menace too. The one who hits the blunt and straight chokes 💀
Yeah he’s closer in age to Marlon and Shawn than Marlon and Shawn are too Keenan and Damon
RIP Bam Bam Bigelow🙏🏽
Loved his feud in ECW with Taz.
the scrawny redheaded kid with the big ears would grow up to be The Shermanator in the american pie movies!!
Oh SNAP! Thank you for that. Good spot!
That completely went over my head.
Fun fact: the director of this movie, Nick Castle, was Michael Myers in the original Halloween.
Yea, I had heard that a ways back. Very cool. .
Fun fact: that was more of a cool fact.
Oh wow didn’t know that at all. Very cool fact
He also directed "Dennis the Menace" (1993) with Walter Matthau. Another great nostalgic classic! 🤗😊💓❤💗
🤔 it kinda crazy that the man who brought one of the most iconic horror villains 2 life also directed some amazing family movies like this one - major Payne - and the last star fighter- the boy who could fly and others
"That was a bedtime story?"
Toot toot!
Payne's version of The Little Engine That Could had me rolling, even as a kid. "I saw what you did to my friend!!! Bam!" 🤣🤣🤣
At least until PTSD took over.

For years I thought he has banging on the drawers but now the banging is in his mind.
One of my favorite ‘Wayans’ movies. Never gets old! 🙌🏿💛
She found a way into his heart without using a field knife.
The only person I can remember who did something like this in real life was removing his infected appendix. It had burst and the only thing he used was a little novocaine for the abdominal wall.
“If he in there he ain’t happy” is a quote I use to this day, classic lol movie from my childhood
I still say, "What? You find a piece of candy in yo pocket?" 😂
Orland Brown was so cute. Now that poor man is all messed up. God bless him.
Orlando Brown as Tiger, classic......child actors have such crazy lives.
"Dur, yet dur" perhaps the best line written in all cinematic history!!!
Gets me every time.
@@JeRk-g5y Me too, I will always bust out laughing when he says that lol
I always say that and no one has any idea what the hell I'm referencing. 😂😂😂

Yeah Bullet proof is good. I love I’m gonna got you sucka. Wish they reacted to that instead. Hopefully one day!
Same here, nobody reacts to those and they are very good.
Another good Damon Wayans movie is Last Boy Scout with Bruce Willis.
My favorite line from that movie “anyone ever tell you, you look like a struck match?!”
A low down dirty shame with keenan ivory way and was good too
Asia bit her tongue and I immediately thought “want me ta show a little trick ta take your mind off that pain” 😂😂😂
😮
😂
Nearly 30 years later and this movie still makes me laugh. Damon killed this role.
OMG….this movie kills me…favorite quote: “when a man gets to eyeballing me, it makes my Agent Orange act up & gives me the urge to kill!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Blockbuster, Hollywood Video and Home Video+ was our childhood movie rental spots.
There's still one Blockbuster left in the country... here in Bend Oregon. Very nostalgic.

That part where Payne was slapping the man had me dying 😂
One of the greatest movies ever made I've probably watched this movie 25 times I never get tired of it my kids can recite it word for word.
Agree. In living color is still one of my favorite childhood shows. I still crack up watching it.
Right it has so many young comedians in it that got their start from that show. Most notably Wayne's brothers and Jim Carey.
George Thorogood and The Destroyers
Yeah, the intro song.
