Seriously disappointed in all you dullards saying the dark wizard is the Necromancer. So he’s Sauron? Despite Halbrand being Sauron IN THE SAME SHOW. The Necromancer is Sauron people. That’s what he’s known as during his time in Dol Guldur. Bunch of smooth brains over here.
If the Dark Wizard is Saraman, the continuity of the story seems contradictory. In the LOTR triology, Gandalf goes to Saraman seeking his help, it is only when he does this does he discover Saramans treachery, Saraman says to Gandalf, "We must join him", him being Sauron. Additionally, there is a scene when Saraman appears and says to Gladrial "Do you require assistance, my lady". 😮
his name is ALATAR, thats the harad people will call him Morinehtar, the blue, killer of darkness, cause he destroy the last forces of morgoth acolytes with the silver light moth, he is the other wizard who has a staff made of a tree branch like Gandalf, and before he dies he will teach his moth power and give his blue hat to Gandalf.
The dark wizard is definitely sauramon. A much younger version. The stranger is Gandalf. I mean istari Gandalf had a power called Istari light which created light in the Mines of Moria.
Vala is the singular of Valar. use of Vala would be incorrect in some of your sentences. Gandalf's original name is Olórin (The accented o is read twice. So "Oloorin" (o's as in omen)
Who cares what anyone is in this terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad franchise, which is so bad it should be a violation of the Geneva convention to make anyone watch it.
I have not read the Silmarilion so this show is absolutely fabulous to people like me! (at least I don't cringe as much as I do with that show that includes the dragons and the freaky, nasty, incestuous white haired royals 😁)
The worst thing about it is that it is so limited in the story, there’s too many things untouched. But to create such story is no easy task and could possibly take half a lifetime to complete.
He’s got to be one of the Blue Wizards
why does it sounds "ishtari" to me everytime you pronounce the word? there is no letter "h". Istar/Istari. and also Sauron, not Sowron
because its voiced by AI
@@sehsiderpecicAnd AI cant read obviously😢
4:08 “their Meyer names”… I wonder if he’ll cite the sixth and certainly most well known, Oscar Meyer.
Nice video
Thanks 🥂
They look like they are cosplaying, unlike peter jackson's wizards
i sure hope the ishtari beat shauron. sharuman of ishengard is the key to their success.

sooran vs the ishtari
Ciaran Hinds is so well cast as the dark wizard. He is certainly, at 70, old enough to do the part justice.
He fits the role perfectly
in Season 2 reveals his name as GrandElf

True! Or perhaps ROP is setting up a new storyline instead of being a prequel to Lord Of The Rings.
@@Film_Paradise That seems unlikely! What would be the point of that?
sow ron.
There is no h in Istar. It’s to painful to make watching this video tolerable.
Snob
There is, however, a second “o” in “too”
@@EddieTuckerIV lol
I know we’re literally watching lotr lore videos but you are a total dork.
Unknown origins and purposes to whom? Well known to anyone who’s familiar with the source material

Eezengard?

Gundalf
Dark wizard might be Necromancer i think...he has many similarities with him...
Well🤔
The dark wizard is definitely sauramon.

Learn how to pronounce these names please. It’s distracting

Thanks man, you've been helpful. Much appreciated 👍
I think Dark Wizard could be Saruman.
If not, might be the Necromancer
The Necromancer is what Sauron is known as during his time in Dol Guldur so no.
saron?
uh·staa·ree

Then don't watch it and leave the rest of us alone. Please.
