Thank you sweet Meredith for the upper & lower body workout. Now taking my newly adopted dog for a fun run. God bless your day. See you on the 6th of August @ 10 am.😃👍🙏
I made it thru. I have mobility issues so i cant stand too long. Did most of the upper body from the chair and the lower body standing. My body is sore but i feel that blood flowing. I love how u walk us through each set and we can go at out own pace.
Thank you very much, Meredith! A great class. I was a little scared thinking it would be too much for me, but absolutely not. And modifying the exercices a little for each repetition makes it nicer, too! Your positive energy passes through the screen.
Great job creating a challenging but attainable workout for seniors, Meredith. I enjoy upper body workouts and hate lower body. Squats are so unkind to my knees so when you explained the substitute for the squat I was 😊. Your pacing, warmups and cooldowns are all very well constructed. Thank you for filling this important need for seniors to have guidance to stay strong!
Hi Meredith 👋 long time no watch videos due to some reasons that needs more attentions. Now I wanted to start again in streaching. Thanks for sharing and I enjoy watching and follow again the steps. God bless 😊🙌🙏❤ Philippines 🇵🇭
Thanks for the great strength training workout. Couldn't decide today whether to do standing pilates or strength training. I'm glad this one was chosen. Have a great weekend.
I completed this last night and felt complete, it is great you created your workouts for people that may have limited mobility. I look forward completing other workouts you have created. ❤
AMAZING WORKOUT I’m 58 and I’ve been looking for a complete strength workout I don’t like the word “senior “ 😅 I only seem to find workouts with the “senior ‘ to be too easy BUT I do have issues with one ankle and knees and don’t want workouts that are complicated or crazy hard or having to get up and down from the floor so this one is fabulous targets both upper and lower body with simple but hard enough to target every muscle I was sweating all in one complete workout thank you keep so much them coming 😊
Hello Meredith! It’s been a bit since I’ve commented. I have continued to follow you and be inspired by you. I’ve done variations of super-setting routines with my senior group fitness classes for some time now, but recently used this video routine - adding a bit more to make it my 45min time frame designated for classes. Keeping in mind my groups median age is 82, here is the feedback. (I am 65 and like you demo the whole time using heavier weights to attempt greater similarity to their average dumbbell weight as to keep the program doable and low risk of injury). The feedback was “it was super hard!” in a nutshell. They like to work out hard and aren’t your average senior residential living demographic. I think for them it was the extended degree of standing vs sitting. Out of 15 ladies, I’d say half want me to teach this format again, but the other half said it was “too hard.” BUT they DID do it and no post workout injury occurred! My question to you, if you care to reply is: do you know what age your followers are? I’m wondering if most are younger seniors, as I consider myself. Like age range 57-67? Perhaps I should be tweaking more if your followers are a younger demographic than my class attendees. Also, can you advise me on how to get a soundtrack such as what you use? Right now I use iTunes and have compiled easily 50 or more playlists of songs from the 40’s- 1990’s ranging from big band to Motown, to mainstream rock that is upbeat not hardcore. They like the variety but I often think I’d be better off using a version like what you use. Hope I’ve not asked this before. If I have I’ll just blame my 65 yr old memory that I forgot I did! 😉 As always, I thank you for your creative and safe and effective videos for this population! You have helped me design programs that are enjoyable and useful to aid in them improving their strength AND their confidence!! Looking forward d to hearing back from you! P.S. Happy New Year!
Hi Carol, Happy New Year! So, general age is early 70’s but really all ages from 40’s and up! I think the younger group would really enjoy it! The music, we go on copyright free music and make mixes. I hope this helps!! Great hearing from you!! Take care, Meredith
I swear Meridith got this old lady out here looking like a young girl 🙌🏾 my grand children tease me saying " Nanny you doing your sit and be fit ?" I be like 👵🏾 tease me if you want to!! Just recently I was mistaken for my 36 yr old daughters sister not the mom 😂😂😂😂🤭
Wow what a good workout. I don't think ankle weight quite yet with knee replacement a year ago.But will work up to it. Did this with Balance class a couple days ago.Nice workout.Nothing like what I did 2 years ago before knee issues started. Going to gym 4 days a week did weights and machines. Oh the day....Plus I was 2 hears younger too ! Lol
I've been doing your intermediate resistance band workout, which has been good. Wondering if you have to plan to do an advanced resistance band workout? Thanks!
@@SeniorFitnessWithMeredith a workout program for continuous days. So I could know what to work on every day. I like working with weights but should only do it every other day I was told. So would like to have a program that I could follow. Thanks.
I enjoyed the workout a lot but I find you’re constantly blowing into the microphone and it’s distracting. I tried muting it but then you miss out on the directions.

Hi Holly! I will work on an advanced band workout soon!! Thank you for the interest and support!
Great workout. I’m looking for a14 to30day workout. Is there one on SF ? Never know in what sequence I should fallow your workouts. Thanks
Please ask me again, I’m not sure what workout you want…thank you!

A regiment for every day to fallow is what I’m looking for. Mon-Sunday.
Hi Meridth, when I do the weights should I feel the burn?
No, you should feel your muscles engage, no pain. Possible soreness after:)
What size weight are being used
I am using 10lb here :)
I enjoyed the workout a lot but I find you’re constantly blowing into the microphone and it’s distracting. I tried muting it but then you miss out on the directions.
I’m sorry you get that from the audio. Hope there is a way you can enjoy it.
