Great safe work out! I have been exercising over 30 years and most the time do not take weight classes because of my neck, shoulder and low back issues. You explain things well and do exercises that are not too complicated. So many instructors tend to do exercises that could cause injuries. I also like that you incorporate balancing in your exercises and want to thank you for mirroring your moves with ours!
Hello again with much Gratitude for this particular workout is getting more fluid and I so appreciate your reminders about posture, keeping elbows tight and knees slightly bent. Yes, all those things are fundamental but to hear someone else's voice gently reminding of them is key (for me). This particular routine coupled with the Hip Pain Seated Stretches is a super charged combo!💪🏽🏋🏽Doing the Hip stretches first, made the dumbbell workout much more fluid and enjoyable. Today I realized while my effort was there to use dumbbells on my own, I was doing several movements incorrectly by over extending my elbows and shoulders at times. Seniors are more susceptible to injury so having your guidance is a tremendous help! We all need supportive people in our lives but not everyone has a big family or local support system. Love this exercise. I’m 73 and trying to stay strong. I have osteopenia and I’m on my way to osteoporosis. My doctor wants me on medication and I’m trying to stay off. Do you have any advanced strength exercises that include floor push ups, planks and squats? Thanks.

Hi Meredith - this workout was awesome! I just have a couple questions about form if I may please. 1. The rotator cuff movements where you're going out sideways with the weights and bringing them back together. Do I have to keep my hands facing up like that? Kind of hurts my right wrist. Not bad, just not comfortable. 2. The front leg lift when you're holding the weight on your thigh. Does it matter more to keep that leg straight when you are raising it up or can you bend the knee and raise it up higher? Thank you so very much for sharing these workouts! Every other day to give the muscles time to rest and rebuild between sessions.

Yes it is…very low impact, so great for muscle and bone strengthening!

Hi the last single dumbbell exercise at minute 21:20 when I bring up the dumbbell my hands don't have to be straight ?
Your hands will be on the ends of the dumbbell, so they are facing in towards each other. I hope that helps!
