    ❤‍🔥Everyday I practice one or two of your workouts, is another day of taking care and loving myself, while working towards weight management and my overall health goals. There's tons of fit trainers online but there's only ONE you, Meredith! For me, it's the way with which you support your students, teach proper form and continually stress helpful important reminders around safety, is what sets you apart! That you've actually worked with Seniors in an official capacity, puts my mind at ease. I know you take your work seriously and genuinely care for your students experience.

    Thank you. I have never done a dumbbell workout before. I am 75 year old, post breast cancer/mastectomy. This is a great addition to my recovery. I used one walking stick rather than a chair and felt great. Thank you so much 😊

    Really solid workout. I'm proud of my age and abilities. Yet I'm also proud to call myself a senior and your workouts are clear, concise and effective. Love the stretching. As we age we need to add stretching into all our workouts. Thank you.

    Great safe work out! I have been exercising over 30 years and most the time do not take weight classes because of my neck, shoulder and low back issues. You explain things well and do exercises that are not too complicated. So many instructors tend to do exercises that could cause injuries. I also like that you incorporate balancing in your exercises and want to thank you for mirroring your moves with ours!

    Hello again with much Gratitude for this particular workout is getting more fluid and I so appreciate your reminders about posture, keeping elbows tight and knees slightly bent. Yes, all those things are fundamental but to hear someone else's voice gently reminding of them is key (for me).
    This particular routine coupled with the Hip Pain Seated Stretches is a super charged combo!💪🏽🏋🏽Doing the Hip stretches first, made the dumbbell workout much more fluid and enjoyable. Today I realized while my effort was there to use dumbbells on my own, I was doing several movements incorrectly by over extending my elbows and shoulders at times.
    Seniors are more susceptible to injury so having your guidance is a tremendous help! We all need supportive people in our lives but not everyone has a big family or local support system.     Hi, I am 60 years old and use to high paced hard workouts but because of a back injury from years ago that has started acting up my days of hard core workouts are over. So glad I found your workouts, I fully enjoyed this and no pain

    Love this exercise. I’m 73 and trying to stay strong. I have osteopenia and I’m on my way to osteoporosis. My doctor wants me on medication and I’m trying to stay off. Do you have any advanced strength exercises that include floor push ups, planks and squats? Thanks.

    Excellent workout! As I get stronger I will increase the weight. I used 2 8lb and for the rotator cuff I used 2 5 lb

    Hi Meredith - this workout was awesome! I just have a couple questions about form if I may please.
    1. The rotator cuff movements where you're going out sideways with the weights and bringing them back together. Do I have to keep my hands facing up like that? Kind of hurts my right wrist. Not bad, just not comfortable.
    2. The front leg lift when you're holding the weight on your thigh. Does it matter more to keep that leg straight when you are raising it up or can you bend the knee and raise it up higher?

      Hi Lucy! Thank you for the comment! As for your questions: 1. hands can face in if needed; 2. You can bend the knee if that is where you get the best ROM and no pain in any part of the leg, lower back, hip flexor.

      That is a great weight starting out, or doing regularly. Please make sure form is right and all feels okay when doing the moves, most important. If so, then think about upping the weight:) Take care!!

    What pound weight is good to be using? I have been doing some weightlifting using between 4 to 8 depends on the workout. Just curious what you are using

      Start low weight, and increase if it feels easy to do the movements with the weight you choose. I hope this helps!

    Hi the last single dumbbell exercise at minute 21:20 when I bring up the dumbbell my hands don't have to be straight ?

      Your hands will be on the ends of the dumbbell, so they are facing in towards each other. I hope that helps!
