I think these are my new favorite workout videos. I am in my 70's and do not drive, so walk everywhere. I tend to overdo general "beginner" exercise videos, resulting in muscle spasms and set-backs, as I assume I have the flex of a younger person. These are very good, lightly challenging exercises, and for balance they are awesome. Thank you for this series - I have subscribed and will continue to recommend and send links to my friends.
I had a spinal cord injury after a surgery went wrong. I am at the point in my therapy that I need to work on balance. I am so delighted to find your video. You will be in my home at least once a day. Thank you for having this available to us who cannot afford to have a therapist come into the house each day!

That was hard but I did it my replacement knee did good not as good as normal one. But I did it. I am proud of that. I am saving this one and will come back weekly to those favorite ones.Till they are mastered.Thank you for getting to my weak points.Great workout ! That last movement with feet in front of each other never did that before and it was so hard.Had a chair and door frame ready to grab and I did. But kept going ! WOW !
What a lovely lady, knowledgeable and pleasant personality. Love her exercise videos for seniors. I'm not really a senior; I graduated about 50 years ago. Now I'm just an "oldie."

Bonjour Meredith. I notice that most seniors usually shuffle when they walk which results in tripping & falling. Do you have exercises that prevents one from shuffling when walking, that is, ensuring that one always lifts each foot up properly when walking. Usually chronic ache in the calf muscles and / or knees prevents one from lifting each foot properly. Can one use weights to strengthen the calf muscles? Merci bien.
Hello! These balance exercises are good to stretch and strengthen the hip flexors, ankles, hips, calves as well. Doing the strength training workouts are very helpful as well. I hope this helps! Take care!

I really need to get my balance back. My hips have gotten weak…problem there with the lack cartilage.
You can do it!! Work your balance and do lower body strengthening as well!!:)
