Skyler Dutton It does have pretty bad animations. If you're someone who doesn't care about that, it's a good mod... But after being spoiled by animators like Ha_ru and F34R, it's kinda hard to like it in my opinion.
Jayden Kingsley yeah I’ve done a fresh install of the game at least 10 times and that’s not even an exaggeration, the game will either refuse to start or even if it does start it constantly freezes when I try to save and guns just won’t make sound, sometimes I can’t even switch guns. And some assets are just downright missing cause the Boston library is blue and black for me and the rain makes a ridiculous static sound.
Terrain 78 it’s the opposite for me I used to have the s and now I have the x and it sucks. I think maybe my Xbox is fucked up somehow cause it keeps telling me how a ton of my stuff I want to download is corrupted
I like that Siren Head plays the nuclear warning, as the monster when not mimicking sirens is known to use sounds, voices, or phrases of importance to that individual to scare, bewilder, or even lure in its pray. And knowing the Lone Survivor survived war and it was basically the event that indirectly took his/her family away it’s only natural for Siren Head to use it as an intimidation technique.
I absolutely ADORE Whispering Hills mod. I got it a really long time ago before they added bobble head nurses and all the other great scares. I watched it grow and its honestly one of my favourites that I don't think I will ever get rid of

I would love to see a mod that takes into account how certain armor would/should render enemy's attacks ineffective or change how you are affected by them; Maybe ghouls and bugs can't damage you through metal armor, but you'll get knocked around instead. Maybe plasma has less of an effect against various polymer/composite armors, but eats right through leather, etc.
they had a mod like that in new vegas and it made not having any armor very dangerous where even a weak gun can kill you in two or three shots and later on with metal and power armor made pretty much everything besides mini nukes and anti mat rifles do pretty much nothing unless they were using ap bullets.
@@theholytoilet6668 Well, should rad roaches or the like be a threat to someone in power armor? At the same time, perhaps adjustments could be made so that c=you can't be in power armor 24x7 - like not being able to eat or drink while wearing it, etc.
biostemm For example, if it was adjusted where you couldn’t stimpak yourself while in power armor, that could be interesting for some since with your mod idea, power armor would be a lot more defensible. More defense, but no healing.

You should check out the Zombie Walkers mod. It has a decent amount of features like roaming packs, player infection and you can even enable NPCs to be infected and then turn into ghouls. The author also got permission to include the "Feral bite" mod which is very similar to the "Bite and Grab Skill" you recommended in this video! Maybe a combination of "Zombie Walkers" + "Fallout 2287 (Gas Masks of the Wasteland) / Nuclear Winter" + "AKM - Assault Rifle" or some more handmade / pipe type weapons. A theme of maybe playing as someone who had a personal fallout shelter and is re-emerging after the nuke and the subsequent fighting had died down.
@Hooligan Boogaloo Agreed, Boston can get laggy even on the most optimized raw Fallout setups. I've heard if you have a ghoul HD retexture mod that doesn't help the FPS either because of the sheer amount of ghouls.

Just found your channel. I just got into mods recently, since I got XCOM 2 for PC. I had already played it on console, so I decided to mod it. I was immediately addicted. I have 106 mods running, and I have about 50 more lined up and ready to install once I finish this first playthrough. It's holding me over for now, but I'm dying to get fallout 4 now so I can mod it. I'm a full time student, and we're going through it with covid, so I can't afford it right now, but the moment I can. Anyway, your video was suggested, and I'm excited to test it out.
Grim looks good on its own with vanilla performance, the enb is really not mandatory at all, and it comes with a performance version for weak configurations.
For me, I usually pair the "Modern Weapons" Mod for unique and real guns into fallout, paired with "Zombie Walkers", and "Whispering Hills" for the experience. I also try to play on survival, have a Player home mode that is survival like and finally try to increase the spawn rates of normal animals, so it's a slightly easier time getting resources for survival. Then from there it's not only good for role-playing, but great for immersion. Imagine, your character leaves the safety and comfort of a player home or settlement for food, and hunting. But it's alittle late, and nightfall hits, and everything starts to fight you. You make it into an abandoned building with only one way in, and your trusty p90 you found off a Bandit. I love it personally due to its immersion.
FeralGhoulOutbreak is an old but great mod. Mixed with FallEvil, FGEP, More Feral Ghouls, Worldwide Ghouls and Whispering Hills basically makes it Silent Hill/RE, and a mix of Dying Light and L4D. I also have Mutant Menagerie for some extra spice.
the next fallout rly needs a horror dlc or at least a horror biome itaking some large portion of the map or so kinda like point lookout, (edit follows) : but cranked up to 11

I'm currently working on a few mods for consoles. I used to be a console gamer only and felt like consoles were getting left out. I have been working on an older mod of mine, and improving it for consoles, as well as making a few new mods.
I play a bunch of horror mods altogether in a single game, but I also install the Holy Bible mod and role play as a sort of inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus (Order of the Hammer, daemon hunters) from 40k. It’s altogether a remarkable role-play experience that allows you the fearlessness of a religious zealot but also tests your fear limits. It also lets you shouts "foul demon scum! I am invincible! The faithful will always triumph! Have at you!"
Not gonna lie Siren Head would make a great fit in the Fallout universe, I could see it that when Caesar had someone crucified, a centaur came and died by him, they would slowly merge together until they made that

I don’t think it’s even possible to be honest with you. Just look at the sheer amount of content it adds into the game. Plus the weather effects and textures etc for new enemies? I understand the siren head mod does a lot of that but it’s in a scaled down way. I think GRIM is so good of a mod, the console just can’t handle everything it adds. Or else it’d be ported onto Xbox by now...
Fallout 4 already is basically a horror game for me. Any non-human enemy freaks me out whenever they show up. I almost am always in third-person mode just so I don’t have to see anything too closely.

While I was playing fallout on one of my saves I was in the museum of freedom....and I had a mannequin mod on whare if you look at it it becomes alive...and uh...I got so scared I ended up leaving the save game and never touching it ever again...
I want a mod that removes the Stimpack animation and immediately heals me like it did in the older games, its just annoying to me and gives the enemy an even bigger chance to kill me, that and it was never in the older games and just feels weird to me
theres a compatibility patch so you can have both silent hill and GRIM. making it a very scary game. make the game mode survival too. maybe add one hit mobs just to make it more on edge.

My Xbox runs smoothly I think it depends on what version you have, I had a One S it froze all the time but my One X hasn't frozen once.

Not gonna lie Siren Head would make a great fit in the Fallout universe, I could see it that when Caesar had someone crucified, a centaur came and died by him, they would slowly merge together until they made that

I showed this video to my son, who likes sirenhead, and the intro made him jump enough that his neck hurt. I explained how the scene made my son jump and tweak his neck and showed her the video, she jumped and tweaked her neck on the same side. Thanks for the laughs.

sorry to say, but will probably be hard, the mod author isnt modding anymore, so i imagine he wont make a port himself, but, if he allows, i think someone might make the port for him...
I don’t think it’s even possible to be honest with you. Just look at the sheer amount of content it adds into the game. Plus the weather effects and textures etc for new enemies? I understand the siren head mod does a lot of that but it’s in a scaled down way. I think GRIM is so good of a mod, the console just can’t handle everything it adds. Or else it’d be ported onto Xbox by now...
Grim - The Curse seems like Fallout 4's equivalent to the Skyrim Mod, Survive The Night.

Im reading H.P Lovecrafts novels and grim makes me think that i just walked in to some of his novels.
Fallout 4 already is basically a horror game for me. Any non-human enemy freaks me out whenever they show up. I almost am always in third-person mode just so I don’t have to see anything too closely.
Another great mod to add to this is the LString Bow mod. It's a great survival tool for stealth killing and you can switch ammo types on the fly 👍

the protectron there is op btw. kills ghouls easily. i kinda regretted activating it. lol

While I was playing fallout on one of my saves I was in the museum of freedom....and I had a mannequin mod on whare if you look at it it becomes alive...and uh...I got so scared I ended up leaving the save game and never touching it ever again...
I want a mod that removes the Stimpack animation and immediately heals me like it did in the older games, its just annoying to me and gives the enemy an even bigger chance to kill me, that and it was never in the older games and just feels weird to me

theres a compatibility patch so you can have both silent hill and GRIM. making it a very scary game. make the game mode survival too. maybe add one hit mobs just to make it more on edge.
