Hey guys, so TreyM , one of the mod authors who made Pilgrim, is leaving the modding community due to his father getting colon cancer. If you can guys, give a shoutout and well wishes to his family. Thanks
honestly, i always make my game look much more realistic, maybe a touch too oversaturated, and tend to favor visibility over fake horror. You'd be suprised how scary you can make the game if you make it look as real as possible.
but an immersive game doesnt have to be a realistic game. to each their own, and no knocking people who like hyperrealism, but immersion is more about the feeling of the world than how close to reality it 8s
I remember this really shitty console mod called "A nightmare in diamond city" where you got teleported and fought a Ghoul wearing a power fist called Freddy Krueger He looked NOTHING like Freddy Krueger
Creepy Mannequins makes me want a weeping angel style mod where the mannequins leave their stands when you look away, slowly closing the distance until they suddenly attack you, combine the two and now you'd definitely up that scare factor.
With the synth voice mod thing, I think it would be terrifying that one version had higher voices and the other had deeper voices. Like, the older versions voice boxes decay from the wasteland and have deeper voices because of it. And then, the newer versions, the ones that the Institute has guarding their home have the higher voices designed to sound nice. Or, the newer ones have deeper voices to help intimidate others and then the older ones have higher voices because of voice box malfunctions. They sound like everything is ok when its not.
Some more ideas for mods I have are this: Animal overhaul: it adds more animal variants Goris fallout 2 companion: adds goris the talking deathclaw Chinese remnants sub faction: adds chinese soldiers obviously Civil war armor: it's name says it Mole rat queen: ads scrapped fallout enemy Master's army super mutants: super mutants/ nightkin from Fallout 1 2 and new vegas Wasteland cryptids: adds unique creatures which you can either kill or keep as pets Manwell weapons: based on the CC weapon but adds pistols and shotguns to make it seem like Manwell is an actual arms company
It's Raining Cats And Frogs it doesn't exist its just an idea I came up with I liked how Fallout 76 created some enemies based of of cryptids in the Appalachian area so I'd like to see a mod that does something similar
Good ideas man, i still don't get why there's no monsters adding mods in this game. I keep coming for these juice themeed vids hoping to see that and always end up disappointed
My favorite sound mod, is the one that replaces ghoul sounds with the flood sounds from Halo. Works great with the Zombie Ghoul mod, and Ghoul retexture mod.
The cool thing about the night of the creeps mod is that the black ghouls have huge roaming distance so it'll run around half the map looking for something to attack once it spawns. It is also possible to encounter them during the day, but they'll run away from you if you see them.
Never tried it but theres another mod like pilgrim called morose it adds new music, ambient sounds and new weathers but no enb. It seemed quite scary too.
I hope you feel rested from your day off ! Missed ya yesterday but you definitely deserve some time to yourself! Love your videos and keep up the great work!
I think all the mods above + Darker Nights (darkest option) while you play and not using any flashlight or night vision makes things really spooky. In times I just started to scream by things jumping out from the dark while I'm trying to find the path to somewhere.
One of my favorite things to do in fallout 4 is to use a mod like minutemen national guard and have 2-3 minutemen following me and when I'm going into a horror mod so it seems like the minutemen are investigating a disturbance or something like that
I respect you so much as a youtuber, I've only watched this and one other video of you and I am already subbing. Keep at it my guy, this is amazing content
I'd like to hear about mods that make FO4 harder. Frost is one of my favorites and regular Survival has become fairly trivial. I enjoy your regular mod update videos. Thanks for the effort!
Nothings scarier than getting ambushed by 2 deathclaws when trying to make ur way back to sanctuary hill after finishing nick valentines quest, its survival and u didn't sleep at diamond city
7:04 So, I play without the volume, and I thought that the synths had another, more elegant voice, to fit with the high-tech -ness with the Institute, and I was pretty disappointed when I heard their real voices. I'd like another synth voiceover.
Concerning the "Raider Children" mod; I like it a lot because it is really dark and quite disturbing, but what was really interesting and very unexpected was all the references to Stephen King's The Dark Tower series that the mod author put in there. I just finished those books a few weeks back and this mod was the last thing I expected to find to contain so many references. If you haven't read them, do it! Then install that mod! It blew my mind!
you should try whispering hills. its a silent hill mod :). install it after pilgrim and install pilgrims recommended tree and grass overhauls. its got several silent hill monsters and the whole dragged into the otherworld thing with sirens and a pitch black sky. it is amazing.
I use vivid weathers, nuclear winter, winter season texture mod(any winter wine will do), walker zombies, darker nights then set the walker zombies mod to replace pretty much anything that not a major faction or animal, robot or sythn. What this does makes it pretty much a zombie wastelands where you will be pretty much the only one around and with the weather and dark lighting mod using the silent hill weather option is just amazing.
All I want is a modular Springfield M1A w/ an Archangel stock w/ a 1-6x toggleable scope (with full peripheral vision when ADS'ed), some usable canted sights, scope mounts and barrel shrouds as well as adding 6.5 mm Creedmoor ammo that any .308 can be changed with due to their heavily similar, if not identical cartridge size, making only a change of barrel necessary
Bro I was just talking about how the feeling of a post Apocalypse world was missing. If I could make mods I would focus on acid/radioactive rain. Literally at its worst the rain glows. Shelter inside or your armor and guns suffer. Not only will your gear rust away and become irradiated. Your health will too as well. Just think this would be pretty awesome. Kinda like how the rain ruins your weapons in Far Cry 2&3. Anyone help yourself to my mod idea
I am NOT a mod author! I am just a player! So here are a few mod ideas I have: T-46 PA T-47 PA T-48 PA T-50 PA And all the other PA models between the T-51 and the T-60. Creature-adding packs: It's self-explanatory. Ex: The Megalodon Scorchbeasts Tunnelcrawlers A few more weapon packs.
Hey juicehead I love all these mods and would love to subscribe to them but I think the 4 Sim Settlements along with my other 30 mods are making my my computer to ctd. Keep up the good work 👌
Not gonna lie.. I havent picked up fallout 4 since november of last year. Until AHS Apocalypse came around and now I'm completing a playthrough thanks to these mods.
I mean, You could use the deeper ghoul sounds, or use the frickin Halo 3 Flood sounds (Is actually REALLY scary when you have mods that make damage alot more realistic)
Someone should do a mod working as that with Black goul and Black bear (in night time), but only with manequins. With scary faces from showed up mod. Manequins that don't move, just spawn behind you and making damage only if you don't look at them. But they can spawn at variuos amounts.
For ghouls voice/noise, i have a mod i use on xbox called horrorghouls soundpack (made by Failip on nexus, ported by LandoCummando on xbox). What this mod do ?, it add around 280 new ghouls sound to replace those cheap bad zombie voices by actual undead creature noise that crave for your flesh, use it with the realistic weather mod that everyone know and the zombie walker mod, and you'll love those rainy night in a city filled with death (personaly i do)
Call back comment I think I just found that the "Feral Ghoul Queen" u ran into during your horror live stream was added by the mod "Raider children and other horrors of the Commonwealth"

TBH, I would love to make my Fallout 4 more realistic. But I would need all of the DLCs in order to get some Fallout 3 weapons.
Exactly! If you Want a scary game, you need an immersive game.
This is so true, i did it to mine and it's way more immersive/creepy than any "scary" mod.
