I've just recently discovered the Dark Souls series about 3 months ago. After defeating Dark Souls 1(loved it!) and promptly buying the sequel, this series has become my personal favorite of all time!
great exept you missed a couple of things: in majula, on a ledge just where you come out from the tutorial area, is a pair of binoculars. these can be used to (among other things) free aim spells accurately, and do it from far away. use that and your soul arrows and you can kill the lizard guarding the fire longsword, and then venture into his lair (after a very difficult jump) there you will find...
I really enjoyed this video. SO MUCH better than a regular old walkthrough. I've said this before and I'll say it again. This channel is one of the most unique channels out there. Much respect to Vaati for taking the time and effort to make these amazing videos.
Honestly, of all of the things in this video, my favorite part is that you informed everyone NOT to the light the torches. It was something I tested as well, and a complete waste of time - so actually something I would have really appreciated knowing ahead of time, haha.
***** they don't reward you for wasting time lighting the other torches.... "And why would you or Vaati think anything is supposed to happen? They're just fucking torches" you really made that comment?... omg i can't dealt with this... youtube why would you do this to me... why would they be added to the game, think, no seriously, think harder cuz no one really knows the answer yet... speculations are still there... looks like you have never played other games nothing more than darksouls that include torches puzzles...where you would light all of them and something would happen, dah. it's more of a common video game knowledge that's for sure.... by all means if you know so much of this matter tell us why are torches in the game and tell us their purpose... -_-
***** I know right!? Every gamer should have this kinda way of thinking since we already should have at least tried or played an adventure or plataforming game.... wich are usually the games that have those apart from rpg or other types of games. Because if you don't know this? You are fucked when a game actually uses this, and then you wouldn't know what to do, for me, who already knows that you would have to like, activate all the levers, buttons, and lightening all the torches to open a door or to get a reward or something, i don't know.... it could be anything.... these puzzles are so god damn easy.... i can't imagine that some people actually struggle with these puzzles.... it would be sad, it would make me a sad panda ;-;
***** That's your IN Real Life, wich every mechanic is boring lmao. Aren't we talking about games? and torches puzzles? or adventure rpg games? They need to open something up, why the fuck you will have something in the game that is there only to waste your time and it doesn't reward you or else.... like really? Common Gamer Sense, light all the torches in a room, a secret door or path will unlock somewhere and it will lead to an exit from the dungeon or to a chest for some loot.... Usually these are Pressure plates, levers or buttons... Other are like, statues, rocks, chess pieces in a table, like basic puzzles in any rpg or adventure game to certain room or whatever.... Games like Pokemon or The legend of zelda... or any Rpg indie/horror games that became popular because of many youtubers last years, 2013 and 2012... I never said anything about real life mechanics those i already know...
Why is it that anytime I see a dark souls two video I am swept over with all kinds of emotions and wish I could play it for the first time again and also feel sorry that so many people don’t seem to appreciate it. Imagine for a moment that it was the only dark souls game.
I didn’t really enjoy dark souls 2 man it’s just so confusing and has annoying lighting and people have told me where to go and stuff but then I can’t really enjoy the game because I can’t explore
@@legobatmanthevideogame3194 yeah anything wrong with that? Some people enjoy games because of the discovery’s you can make or are you that much of an idiot you can’t fathom someone enjoying exploration
I'm glad they made the throwing knives and tools in general more useful this time around. Since the last game I've been wanting to make a viable Castlevania build, something that focuses around the use of tools in conjunction with its weapons, but the tools in Dark Souls were of little use and the whips were lacking. Between the Old Whip, throwing knives, and urns now, I think there may be something worthwhile here.
Those acid urns are god-like. When I'm in the mood, I feel the need to flesh out my opponents ill-defense with some well-placed acid urns, and attack accordingly, I break their armor... They stagger easily.
this is an incredibly good walkthrough style. you cover everything important without showing pointless clips. unfortunately i'm already halfway through the game, but i'll definitely recommend this to anyone who's just starting.
Vaati, I can not get over the fact that you just pulled a Souls Series move yourself at 17:44 where you say nothing will kill you when in reality it very much so does, rewarding those actually watching and not distractedly listening. It felt great seeing something like that, especially in a video with this content subject.
Like always man awsome video your probably the only dark souls UA-camr that is taking there time to make this videos unlike ppl that just make videos of them playing the game with no clue of what to do and no secrets yet solved again man awsome video can't wait for your next one
Hahaha you noob, watch EpicNameBro and get informed! He and AGermanSpy and a couple others wrote the Strategy Guide, ENB is currently a fair way through his walkthrough too... Just got his first death. Also is making an effort to showcase all secrets etc.
I played the game for about 6 hours and I didn't make it to the (or a) fifth bonfire. Choosing the explorer as a starting class was the wrong choice...
John McPineapple I started as the explorer and loved it, you just have to get some offensive stats as soon as possible. Was fun playing around with all the extra items to throw at things. Im about 30 hours in now though, so starting class troubles are pretty much gone.
"I recommend coming here early." Along with many other nice things Vaati said on the video, this one wins the prize. I found so much treasure chests, them a shortcut to the final boss of the game.
Oh man. When I climbed that ladder and a giant friggin bird dropped that badass down I was like holy shit what is this. That feeling was so epic because I was clueless. I had a two phantoms with me and lost one during the fight, but I recognized the great sword he was using from the Beta. I was like. What?! Pursuer?! Then I did some coop later and saw that he was the main boss of the area and was like oh great no gotta fight him again? But when I got there it blew my mind when he wasn't there. Of course him not being there makes sense but I didn't expect it to work out like that. So awesome.
Its been just a day since release and my UA-cam feed is filled with Dark Souls II videos. Sad part is that I can't watch any of them to not ruin myself experience I can have. *41 DAYS 14 HOURS 55 MINUTES left until April 25*
I borrowed a PS3 from a friend of mine to play it before the PC release. I also tricked him into actually buying the game :D He won't regret it, for sure.
Taking risks doesn't always reward you. I made a mistake when I pulled the lever in Aldia and missed out on a character's storyline on my first blind playthrough....
A better tip for the pursuer. The attack vaati takes notice off. Don't roll to the left. If you are not too far away from the boss just circle around him to the right and he will miss with the attack without you needing to roll. Pursuer is ridiculously easy because of that. If you keep a little bit of distance he will keep using that one attack alot.
Just wanna say it really shows how much effort you put into your videos. Keep up the good work! As a side note, I've been trying to figure out why I enjoy Dark Souls so much. I think a lot of it has to do with the feeling that you are really exploring something and discovering new things that aren't on a map or pointed out to you. I mean, I had to make my own map to remember all the connections between the different areas, and it was weirdly satisfying. But, I also wonder if this is also due to nostalgia for the n64 zelda games, which is notorious for giving you items and leaving you to figure out how to use them to progress.
Wyly Andrews Same here. But after i finished my first play through i found out that i missed the final location of the Emerald Herald in Throne of Want. Supposedly she talks a lot of lore there, gotta get her now in NG+.
This is one of the best walkthrough beginning i ever saw. Its entertaining you get just enough infos to get through but leaves a couple surprises out of it . the way he continous the gameplay while still being able to listen to the story telling -> awesome . A few jokes here and there and good tips for certain enemies. Worth the time
This video helped me IMMENSELY. Going from Knight to Sorcerer was a big step up, allowing me to engage from a safer distance at first, and allowing me to cheese my way through the first few big boys at the tower
The first boss I found wasn't in the forest; I didn't go that way. the boss I found was the old friend that Vaati speaks of. he is no pushover and his armour looks so nice (they really did the dark souls 1 version of the set justice) :)
I would suggest anyone that is going in blind to not watch any walkthroughs or guides until completing their first playthrough unless they're stuck without any other option. You only get this experience of playing without knowing whats around the corner once, don't spoil it.
Just got my game in the mail yesterday. Played for about an hour last night and it doesn't disappoint! Difficult, confusing and engaging - all the things I've come to expect from the souls series. Looking forward to getting further into the game. By the way, I really enjoy your videos about the game - so much of what I7ve come across on UA-cam has been kind of annoying, but your videos are well made and informative and the English teacher in me appreciates the fact that you are well-spoken and not arrogant. Thanks again for all of your efforts!
Yeah, I cringed when I saw Vaati write about some content in the description appearing in my sub box, now I know that a couple of things exist and want to forget about them asap.
hey vatti, i know lore is your big thing and this lets play is branching out as it is, but with your knowledge of dark souls i think it would be amazing and extremely helpful if you could do tips/tricks videos for dark souls 2. you could show us important loots, awesome builds, shortcuts, etc.
Just finished the game and now I'm finally able to watch all your DS2 videos (Wanted my first run on my own, because DS, that's why). I absolutely love the humor you show in this walkthrough. I'm looking forward to the rest of it.
Just getting into dark souls and I'm a few hours into the dark souls 2. Really love your videos and channel overall. Incredible effort and work you put into it and you have an awesome voice.
15:30 well i did go up it, but i saw him before he landed and said:"NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" and ran back to the bonfire :D hes not a threat if you know how to nope fast enough
isectoid I put my first thirty thousand souls into the "nope" attribute, works beautifully! In all seriousness though, this game has a perfect balance of aggravation vs sense of reward. DS2 has been the only disc in my 360 for about a month now... I wonder if my other games feel dejected.
isectoid Thats weird. I went up and stayed their, but I was never attacked, well I did just immediately turn left kill the guy their and jump off. Maybe he was actually behind me
Wow. Sound piece of advice for newbies, vaati. "Hey you should totally go check out this OLD FRIEND" i was like "OH MY GOD ITS AN NPC FROM DARK SOULS 1!!!!!!" Then i get to the room and i just say "Well... Shit"
I like this bro. You ad an atmosphere to the walkthrough that jives with the game it self. A mysticism if you will. Even though it's simply a walkthrough. It keeps your mind in the game.
Tbh man I've seen this video before but I always watch it because I love the way you narrate things like how you described the pursuer "Like each hollow he kills will atone for one of his sins." I love it! And I love your videos! Keep up the great work man, should also consider doing some narrating or commentating? Your honestly great at it and have the voice for it!
I actually found that this time, the community is a lot less invasion-happy than in the original Dark Souls. I'm also finding a lot more summon signs of people actually wanting to help with bosses or just tricky areas. While the game is still kicking my ass, I haven't raged at all (except for one area a little later in the game) because the players are actually helping more and not just invading all the time.
I'm quite surprised about this myself as well. I was really expecting invasions and I'm like, "Yes, come at me. I'm waiting.", and nothing happened. Hah! As much as I don't summon phantoms/shades myself, I'm proud to say that I'm one of those players that would willingly lay down his life to assist others. :)
That's because they are actually playing the game and not bored doing just pvp. Dark Souls invasions kind of sucked that way because invading felt pointless. Demon's Souls invading felt like it made more sense and I think Dark Souls 2 invading feels like it makes more sense too.
I was surprised about this as well, no invaders so far. I was beginning to wonder if something was broken, lol. However I think its just that everyone is still experiencing the main game, and invading kind of side tracks that while co-op is a victory for everyone and helps people experience the game. Its pretty nice really, but I'm sure after a week we'll see invasions start to happen, or maybe it'll just be a matter of certain people discovering the right covenant.
Hey VaatiVidya, this is the first comment I've left on any of your videos. I've been watching your videos for a while and I really appreciate the amount of effort you put into every video. I don't really have anything negative to say about anything, besides maybe the brightness sometimes being a little bit too low so it's difficult to see what's going on. Keep up the awesome content!
Watching this in 2016 and playing Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin for the first time ever after finally going through Dark Souls 1 this week as well. I think it's much better playing DaS2 now on PC with DX11 and all the patches because the game runs at 60fps and looks beautiful compared to how it did at release. It's actually closer to how it looks imho in the pre-release footage that a lot of people were upset about, but so far I'm loving the game. The only thing I don't love is the movement feeling different compared to DaS1, after playing 100 hours of DaS1 it takes a while to get used to DaS2.
I think Vaati should do more videos like this. I do enjoy his Lore Videos and all the sorts, in their formality and organization. But, videos like this, where he's a little less formal & tells a scatter joke or pun I find quite amusing and a good change. He has a sense of humor I get, so I laughed at a lot of the little tidbits he said.
I just finished up DS 2 a little while ago and although its too early (even after an entire 60 hour playthrough) to start comparing it to Demon and Dark, I can honestly say I loved it and I'm definitely going to be plaything this for a long time. I can't wait to see the lore videos start from Vaati and all the other great Souls youtubers. This community is amazing and I plan on jumping right back into the game soon!
***** he had some of Artorias's sound bites so the abyss magic stuff could suggest that what happened to Arty is happening to Orns just without manus and the broken arm and screwed up damage on the armour. also there was a lot of emphasis on the abyss in the trailers.
This is the best channel for 'soul' guides, tips, and lore videos. I just finished ds1 (unpatched) and i just started ds2sotfs. This helps tremendously. Keep making videos lore or otherwise. P.S. youre calm voice is nice to heard after dying 10 times
Please do a comprehensive video on Covenants. Mainly the Company of Champions. I joined it because I like the challenge and I won't summon outside help on any boss until I've beaten the game but I can't get those awestones and I've yet to be invaded after countless hours of play.
I can tell you put a lot of time into these. Fantastic. I put this on in the background while I was cleaning my apartment (and waiting for the PC release to happen in 3 1/2 hours :-X ). This was extremely distracting - in a great way. Your voice isn't annoying (tutorials made by 12 year olds are getting(?) a bit old). ANYWAY! Cheers! Thanks for the video, hope there are lots more to come!
Well I died and was wearing a helmet (Bandit's armour) so I didn't notice right away but then I saw I wasn't wearing a bra and that I didn't have boobs either...
Old friend ? OMG DIVINE SUNBRO SOLAIRE !!! Im going in right away "passes through the fog" FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU (Old ds psychological trauma starts to hurt again :p)
Just think of it as revenge friend, also, except for his AoE attack simply roll straight through his attacks and hit him in the back a couple of times :)
Okay... So I've been trying so hard to "get" Dark Souls. DS2 being the one I've played most. For some reason after 10 years they all finally "clicked" for me! Where I was frustrated, and furious before. I am now determined, and having a blast! Elden Ring brought it all together for me. I am currently playing simultaneously DS Remastered, DS2, DS3, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Sekiro, and dipping my toe in Demon Souls Remastered. I am not trying any perfect runs, or trying for any specific achievements. I'm playing each one to the next boss, or big fight, or bonfire, then move to the next, and so on. I find I can't bring myself to play another game right now. They aren't appealing to me. I haven't been able to touch Spider-Man 2!!!
Best way to start the game is jump down to that first ledge in the giant pit, there is loads of awesome loot down there.....I promise the fall wont kill you.... it might just break every bone in your body....that might kill you....
I must say, you have a really intriguing style… I subscribed recently when I found your explanation vids on DS 2 (and mightily enjoyed them if I may add), but I can imagine enjoying playthroughs by you of rather deep and dark games too, as you have a nice way of explaining things that happen along the way, so that it not only becomes some kind of pass-time for fun or because I'm bored, but that I become genuinely invested in the playthrough and I really think about the things that are happening. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I love your content and that I would gladly watch this kind of informative "playthrough" if you decide to do it in a game again (Bloodborne perhaps?). I am kind of short on money (being a student and all), but I will consider being a patron nonetheless, because your content is unusually high quality for a platform like UA-cam in my humble opinion and it deserves all praise it gets. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Excelletn Vaati. I JUST came upon what you ended your video with and I punched my desk in disbelief. My lore-speculation sense are burning like napalm.
Contrary to what Vaati claims here, the dogs or whatever they are at the very beginning will only attack you if you attack them. Before that point, you can run around in their little clearing all you like, for as long as you like, and they'll never bother you. Their purpose is to unnerve the player a bit, but they're not actually a threat unless you make them one.
actually, he never claimed that the beasts automatically aggro you. his exact words were "If you wait in this section too long, they start to surround you (a phrase which does not and should not immediately implicate them attacking you), and if you provoke them like i've done (when he attacked one), then they'll chase you down and... (rest of dialogue unimportant)" What you're stating is exactly what Vaati was trying to explain. Maybe he his word choice was somewhat confusing, but you've misunderstood his point.
Semantics. The kobolds don't 'start to surround you' either, bud. They don't do anything threatening whatsoever, in fact. That was my point. Most of them completely ignore the player no matter how long you stand there. Now, *one of them* has a script in which it'll walk up to you and look at you curiously. It's actually kind of cute. Eventually he'll even come down to you at the starting rotunda area you wake up on if you stay there long enough. Regardless, Vaati's intended implication is clear, despite what you say, because I recall that he also made this 'mispresumption' (is that even a word? you know what I mean) in his DkS2 first impressions video. He said then, and I quote: "wait here long enough and you become another pile of bones". That the false observation was made in *a second video* is the only reason I bothered to post something about it this time. But whatever, this is obviously super, super trivial. I definitely don't mean to hate on Vaati. It's just an extremely minor correction.
Snipetonight There were all of three total comments here before you posted, and literally two inches above your own comment you can see me already stating what you just said. Which was 8 months ago now. :^|
Sooooo, I went into this game blind, granted, I did all achievements on DS 1. I did not know about the process of leveling up by talking to the women in Majula and so, I killed the first few bosses on starting Soul level and starting equipment. Of course that is pretty hard. I used pretty much all my healing items ( I did not have Estus, I didn´t yet figure out where the women was) and so died to some scumbag enemy because I got lost. Yeah, I did lose ALL THE SOULS OF like the first THREE BOSSES.....
First time going through I saw the item at the bottom of the waterfall. You can also get to the spot by falling from the waterfall. The item I got from the crows was the Demon Great Hammer... on a sorcerer lmao

Every gamer should have this kinda way of thinking since we already should have at least tried or played an adventure or plataforming game.... wich are usually the games that have those apart from rpg or other types of games.
Because if you don't know this? You are fucked when a game actually uses this, and then you wouldn't know what to do, for me, who already knows that you would have to like, activate all the levers, buttons, and lightening all the torches to open a door or to get a reward or something, i don't know.... it could be anything.... these puzzles are so god damn easy.... i can't imagine that some people actually struggle with these puzzles.... it would be sad, it would make me a sad panda ;-;
If you light torches in certain places in SotFS, you could fight invaders and get various items, so torches do have a use :)
You know what we need now... Dark Souls 2 Lore!!!!
@@louyki "I can't enjoy the game because i can't explore" lmaof
@@legobatmanthevideogame3194 yeah anything wrong with that? Some people enjoy games because of the discovery’s you can make or are you that much of an idiot you can’t fathom someone enjoying exploration
"I'm not gonna tell you that, what is this, a walkthrough? Now, let's continue with the walkthrough."
I love this editing style, it makes for a much more interesting walkthrough to watch.
i wonder who that old friend could be...
:)
he needs a new nickname tho, darkstein?
Dragonslayer Ornstein an old, overpowered, downright diabolical friend... oh do I miss him! :)
"Eghehh... Up that ladder is death, let's not go there right now...."
They stagger easily.
xxEvilChris
The Hello carving is also God-Like if you use it close to a boss and it lands on its foot. BOOM insta-kill.
this is an incredibly good walkthrough style. you cover everything important without showing pointless clips. unfortunately i'm already halfway through the game, but i'll definitely recommend this to anyone who's just starting.
It's a different and deeper style but I like to watch people's first reactions while playing it too.
Cobfan990 Only problem is, he only finishes 1/4 playthroughs.
I watch epicnamebro but I hadn't seen any of his dark souls 2 videos if he made any yet
I bought the game on PS4 just a few days ago (2017). Vaati... Let the good souls guide my way...
Ive played the game for about 6 hours, and have so far defeated The Last Giant, Dragonrider, and the Old Dragonslayer
I'm waiting for the pc release, tell me is the old dragon slayer an orenstine reference
michaelgtho Don't ask questions that you don't want to know the answer to.
michaelgtho You will like it
I played the game for about 6 hours and I didn't make it to the (or a) fifth bonfire.
"Just walk straight through. Nothing's going to kill you."
=> Easily my favorite line here.
"I recommend coming here early."
Along with many other nice things Vaati said on the video, this one wins the prize.
So awesome.
17:43 Lol. That's right, keep running. Nothing will kill you. Nothing at all.
Its been just a day since release and my UA-cam feed is filled with Dark Souls II videos. Sad part is that I can't watch any of them to not ruin myself experience I can have.
*41 DAYS 14 HOURS 55 MINUTES left until April 25*
What happens on April 25?
King Farticus PC release for Dark Souls 2.
Just want to you know, the game is so masterfully built that its WELL worth the wait. So good!
I borrowed a PS3 from a friend of mine to play it before the PC release. I also tricked him into actually buying the game :D He won't regret it, for sure.
Hold on, brother! You are not alone! Praise the Sun! We wait!
Dude, I fucking love your humor. It's that dull British humor that can be sort of cheesy, but uses a lot of well-timed jokes. Loved it.
Taking risks doesn't always reward you. I made a mistake when I pulled the lever in Aldia and missed out on a character's storyline on my first blind playthrough....
Everyone missed it their first time through, if they didn't follow guides.
I was trying not to see too many spoilers, but I can't resist this!
Since I gave a mustache to my character I figured out the effect of the coffin pretty quickly XD
I enjoy your style of knowledge over goofy silliness that most youtube does. You may not have millions of fans, but we're all grateful.
Love the style of this video. It covered a LOT of ground in only 20 mins, without killing the exploration or figuring boss strategies for us.
i was trying to think of a way to word what i wanted to write about this style of video. you did it perfectly. also, thats alot of w's
although this missed a lot of stuff out, needless to say i found it incredibly entertaining!
GheyForGames Oh hey, it's you.
Can't wait for your Lore videos. Just finished DS2 and it left me with more questions then answers lol.
I'm really interested to see what lore people dig up about some of these bosses.
Ever since I saw his DaS 1 lore videos, I wanted to see what lore I could find myself in DaS 2.
I am really impressed that he spent so much time on this amazing episode thank you we need more people like you who really care
You only get this experience of playing without knowing whats around the corner once, don't spoil it.
new to the channel. glad to find another interesting dark souls producer to watch.
I only came here to say I won't be watching spoilers till I get this on my pc.
Yeah, I cringed when I saw Vaati write about some content in the description appearing in my sub box, now I know that a couple of things exist and want to forget about them asap.
character turns to the other gender when you sleep in the coffin.... i only figured that out 2 days ago lol
hey vatti, i know lore is your big thing and this lets play is branching out as it is, but with your knowledge of dark souls i think it would be amazing and extremely helpful if you could do tips/tricks videos for dark souls 2. you could show us important loots, awesome builds, shortcuts, etc.
Shit"
In the beginning, take the petrified something and drop it in the birds nest. you will be happy :)
Or depressed
I like this bro. You ad an atmosphere to the walkthrough that jives with the game it self. A mysticism if you will. Even though it's simply a walkthrough. It keeps your mind in the game.
Tbh man I've seen this video before but I always watch it because I love the way you narrate things like how you described the pursuer "Like each hollow he kills will atone for one of his sins."
I love it!
Xirbtt It does indeed. It'll come around, I'm sure.
>Best possible start
>Picks sorcerer
vato pls
the boss in the cathedral of blue is awesome. Im so happy they put him in dark souls 2
:3
And it was so satisfying to fuck his brains out!
*****
lol dude he is one of the easiest bosses, killing his heterosexual fat boyfriend was always harder.
I'm wondering if it's the same person or someone who happens to have his armor...
***** he had some of Artorias's sound bites so the abyss magic stuff could suggest that what happened to Arty is happening to Orns just without manus and the broken arm and screwed up damage on the armour. also there was a lot of emphasis on the abyss in the trailers.
***** im pretty sure you failed the first time, not everyone is the best ya know.
I’ve seen a lot of negative stuff about DS2 but a lot of positive too…
I’m playing it and it’s a freaking masterpiece!!! I love it a lot!!
Try its pvp and ng+
It rlly worth
@@AtreyusNinja I went straight to DS3 after beating it!!! Another masterpiece!!! 💪🏾
@@JavierArochoVegads 2 has the best ng+ cause it actually has different loot item and more unique encounters
This is the best channel for 'soul' guides, tips, and lore videos. I just finished ds1 (unpatched) and i just started ds2sotfs. This helps tremendously. Keep making videos lore or otherwise. P.S. youre calm voice is nice to heard after dying 10 times
About 10 years later and your videos are still top tier
You can get an estus shard real early in Majula by attacking the rock on the well.
Just a little hint for people who want some more healing early on.
Well it is shown in the video too.
AramisFI
?? I missed it in teh video then, woops.
AramisFI
Oh I was just listening to the video not watching, that's why I missed it. XD
Please do a comprehensive video on Covenants. Mainly the Company of Champions. I joined it because I like the challenge and I won't summon outside help on any boss until I've beaten the game but I can't get those awestones and I've yet to be invaded after countless hours of play.
That's what I figured. Been reading a lot of form posts. I think I'll pass on this covenant. I like being invaded, as rare as it already is for me.
IT GAVE ME FUCKING PIGTAILS! WHAT KIND OF COFFIN IS THIS?!
The coffing changes your sex :P
7:20 this is incorrect, you need a fragrant branch of yore to get the last few torches, once you light those an invader spawns for u to kill
Thats a different version of the game, this is the Original 2014 version
In this Version of the game there is no Red ghost
I can tell you put a lot of time into these. Fantastic. I put this on in the background while I was cleaning my apartment (and waiting for the PC release to happen in 3 1/2 hours :-X ).
This was extremely distracting - in a great way. Your voice isn't annoying (tutorials made by 12 year olds are getting(?) a bit old). ANYWAY! Cheers! Thanks for the video, hope there are lots more to come!
The coffin changes your Gender, it's not really that hard to notice, i knew straight away lol.
So thats what happened to my beard....
Andrew Norris Yepp :D
Well I died and was wearing a helmet (Bandit's armour) so I didn't notice right away but then I saw I wasn't wearing a bra and that I didn't have boobs either...
i was wering a fuul face helmet didnt notice till ng+ lol
Every time I arrive at Majula I can't help but call it Me Julie. Doesn't help the fact that there's an NPC there with a wicked set of babylons.
cj a Majula Oblongata
All day!
From me head down to me goolies.
Old friend ? OMG DIVINE SUNBRO SOLAIRE !!! Im going in right away
"passes through the fog"
FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU (Old ds psychological trauma starts to hurt again :p)
So... The dragonslayer has slain you too...?
Loll nice stories to tell, thankyou for sharing
You are Legetimetly the best channel for dark souls 2 content it brings back nostalgia and educates me at the same time keep it up brotha!
"We meet, an old friend"
Pfft I didn't fight him till I was level 97. He still beat the living shit out of me. Even with the AI's help
Best way to start the game is jump down to that first ledge in the giant pit, there is loads of awesome loot down there.....I promise the fall wont kill you.... it might just break every bone in your body....that might kill you....
you need the ring of the cat.
jarick caesar yer or I think someone puts a ladder there later, trying to unlock that event.
Thanks for the vid. Im going to give this game a try on ps4. Really excited!
+Johnwa good luck! It's changed a bit since this video. Maybe check out ds3 and ds1 also!
VaatiVidya Plus SotfS changes it completely
(rest of dialogue unimportant)"
What you're stating is exactly what Vaati was trying to explain.
CognizantCheddar You lads babble a whole lot about really minor and absolutely not important details imo.
Snipetonight
There were all of three total comments here before you posted, and literally two inches above your own comment you can see me already stating what you just said. Which was 8 months ago now.
:^|
CognizantCheddar Ah! I see that now, since your comment was a tit bit long I didn't read it mate, good thing you already stated that though, mah bad!
Yeah, I did lose ALL THE SOULS OF like the first THREE BOSSES.....
excellent work
First time going through I saw the item at the bottom of the waterfall. You can also get to the spot by falling from the waterfall. The item I got from the crows was the Demon Great Hammer... on a sorcerer lmao
I literally lol every time at 17:46 when you say "nothing's going to kill you" at the exact same time an obvious boulder passes by while not changing your tone of voice in the slightest.
I'm trying not to watch to much when it comes to this game, wish to keep myself pure for my baby
its a sex change coffin XD
Jesus,so thats why my charachter haves tits. Thanks a lot dude :D
It took me a while to realize where my beard went xD rofl. From software, that was a win. Sex change coffin guarded by fattys
Love it xD

This is probably my first comment on youtube, and that is just to swing by and say that I love your videos and you did a great job with this one. I look forward to seeing more in this series!
The quality of this lets play and the way you edit your videos is fantastic
