I had such a great time exploring the Spanish cities of Cordoba and Cadiz in the Andalusia region. The history of the region is fascinating not least because it was ruled by Muslims for some 500 years!! The Muslim legacy is still visible in the architecture, food and even language. Did you know about Spain’s Muslim history? Don’t forget to leave a comment, like and subscribe for more videos! 🇪🇸🇪🇸
You are such a blessed person that introduce the world in a great excellence. I am benefited a lot to decide where I should go. I and my family will pray for you to excel in your assignments.
Beautiful España! ❤ I am captivated by your series on this remarkable country and its rich history, especially the era of Al-Andalus. Thank you 🥰 For nearly 800 years, the people of Al-Andalus flourished under Islamic rule. The 'Moors,' derived from Mauri, were largely Berbers from present-day Morocco (ancient Mauretania) Under the banner of the Umayyads from present day Syria and led by Tariq Ibn Ziyad (who was ethnically Berber too), they crossed the Strait of Gibraltar (named after Tariq), establishing control over various regions of the Iberian Peninsula from 711 CE to 1492. This Islamic era profoundly influenced the Iberian Peninsula Over time, 'Moor' became synonymous with Muslim, as many Iberians converted to Isla m. Ultimately, it was these conversos and their descendants who were displaced by Christians after the Fall of Granada during 'La Reconquista.' Today, their descendants in Morocco still honor the memory of Al-Andalus through their songs, still holding onto the keys of their ancestral homes.
I was in the Marine Corps and spent 5 months on a Navy Base, which was 45 minutes from Sevilla. The best 5 months of my life! The Spanish were kind and hospitable. My goal is to go back to Spain 🇪🇸 soon!!
This content is beyond moving ... inspiring ... and rich in character, love ... life and joy of the world. It shows the blind true colors they have not seen... colors that do exist and can be experienced. Since watching this channel I started approaching strangers which has made me amazing new friends, buying things I love like fragrance and clothes, and exploring beautiful parts of my city (stockholm) ... the beauty of life is such a joy and I am happy to be alive and young
SalAzar IN THE HOUSE! This was very well put together. Thank you for including us for the ride! I plan to visit my ancestors hometown in Burgos Navarre Salazar Valley. Con Respeto Amiga Desde SAN DIEGO BAJA CALIFORNIA
That part of history i actually remember . I appreciate that you cover not just the partying scene of different countries but the history, and different cultural dynamics as well.
Nice presentation and videography , you work very diligently & professionally, well done 👏 Spain 🇪🇸 beautiful country and people, well historical and awesome sunny 🌞 environment 😎 it's in my bucket list! Stay safe and healthy 👌
I really loved the vibe of this episode with you interacting a lot with the locals. Also seemed like you really enjoyed yourself. I would too. Andalucia is my favorite place in the world. Any chance of visiting further down south in Costa del Sol? Málaga is amazing.
I'm from LA and the gentleman at 24:58 is wearing an LA tee. That's a sign I have to visit! I love the vibe, presentation, and history lesson here. Thank you.
Very nice to watch Angelica show us the stunning places of Andalusia. Very well documented. I bet Angelica loves this place very much, and I can see she looks like a bonita Andalusian as well !
Malini youre storytelling skills are incredible, thank you for showing this incredible city. I was in Cordoba last year and you can really feel how special Andalusia is, it has something very few places have
Your ethnicity reveal is one most tempting reasons I have ever heard to support a UA-cam channel. I know 2 clues - your Spanish has a very good Castilian accent, and you also speak pretty good Italian. I guess I could flip a coin.
Last year I watched your video on Granada and made the decision to go. I spent one week in Granada and Madrid last month and had an amazing time. After this I'll have to add Andalucía for next year's trip xD
Like always Malini your video are always so interesting…..and yes both Cadorba and Cadiz are Super cool 😎 places to visit….Thanks for sharing…until soon ….💕Alex🇬🇷
Just bought a house in a beautiful village 30 minutes from Sevilla. Will be moving there later this year as a citizen thanks to my grandparents. This is something that I have wanted since I was very young and its finally coming true.

So we had the whole evening to check out how lovely Cadiz is. 😅………..🤗🇨🇦
HI angelica I love your content, i just wanna correct something the Moors origin is from North Africa specifically from Morocco. Tarik ibn Ziyad was a Moroccan Berber who conquered the iberian peninsula.
Malini, your videos are awesomely vivid and excellently beautiful , superb and stunning. I really, really enjoy every video of yours. Keep going. God bless you all the time.
The place you met Pepe and ate, I could see on the wall pictures of Matadors, as Spain is famous for Bull fighting. Their favorite sport. Andorra is also a lovely place.

Hello Malini, I see that Andalusia has completely hit you but there are other Spanish cities that you will love. As a Valencian, I recommend my city and if you can come to Fallas from March 15 to 19 and you can try the authentic paella, the foreigners who have tried it They all say the same thing, the difference is abysmal, very different from what they do in their countries, a hug.
I just want to thank you for this video which transported me back to Spain, a country that holds a piece of my soul! Twice I've been blessed to wander its vibrant streets: Madrid's energy, Barcelona's artistic flair, Seville's flamenco heartbeat, the historical echoes of Toledo, Granada's breathtaking Alhambra, and finally, the spellbinding Cadiz, where it was the first time for me to see the Ocean !!
"La bella de Cádiz tiene ojos de terciopelo". An old french song singing by Louis Mariano "la Belle de Cadix à des yeux de velours, la belle de Cadix vous invites à l'amour ..." Thank you Angelica 🙏🤓 AN HISTORICAL OVERVIEW OF ANDALUCIA, SPAIN THE PREHISTORIC BEGINNINGS Neanderthal man is known to have lived on the Rock of Gibraltar, 50,000 years ago. In about 8,000 BC an influx of North African tribes established farming settlements throughout the region, and these people are known today as the Iberians. Andalucia's seaboard was extensively settled by the Phoenicians, who established a chain of trading posts, founding the sea port of Cadiz in 1100BC - which makes its Europe's oldest city - and strongly influencing the way of life of the native Iberians. The Phoenicians were followed by the Celts, who in 800 BC moved south across Europe and into Andalucia. By 700 BC the Tartessus Kingdom was flourishing in Andalucia, and a century later Greek sailors founded trading ports along its shore.
