  • Hi everyone,
Today we are back to our Playing in Pro-Stitcher Series. Our topic is the REPOSITION function under the Modify tab. I use this function all the time. We all use Drag/Drop when advancing our quilts but it can be used in every situation that has you moving a design. I use Start Point and End Point when combining designs or when I want to pick where a design will start on my quilt. When you get into more custom quilting with Pro-Stitcher, Nudge will become your best friend. Hope you get in and play, touch all the buttons and see when they would make the most sense for you in your quilting.
    As always thanks for watching,
    Adam

The explanation of the bounding box was so helpful to understand where the buttons put the designs. Turning on the bounding box was a great tip. Thanks!

That nudge tool tip is well worth the price of admission! I had no idea you could use it that way. Thank you so much! Love your videos.

Adam you are such a good teacher, it is so great to take one thing at a time and explain all it’s functions. Some I use all the time and others I really was not sure off. Now if I should forget I can go back to your videos. Thanks so much

I have a stack and whack and want to put one design in the blocks of the stack and whack and another design in the sashing and another in the borders. Do you have a video that shows how to do this? If I get 3 designs that I want to use do I set them up as a workspace and save them and then add them as I go across the quilt? I am trying to learn this and the store I bought this from is far away and not much help so I am trying to learn on my own with help from you and other you tubers. I don't want to ruin the quilt so will practice on an old sheet or something like that.

I don't have a video for this. I would break all of the components you want to stitch in see the best way for you to attack it with what you are comfortable doing. Stitching the ditch between the elements is a good place to start, so you can do one part at a time.
