He is my partner.mjse love him too. Everything is from me but he is very greedy of money where aaiyasi and money are seen. There after having fun, they go away and quarrel with me and make me bhaga de te h.. I listened to you and did it accordingly, but every other third day again she keeps calling me. So what is the meaning of smju me???
However, after seeing his character, I stopped spending money on anything behind him. So he has an excuse that I don't give money. I can't handle him, so he has driven me away. Talking like this. But if he talks to me on some pretext or the other, then what is the meaning of this?

Clark, what do you do when reading so many books to help you retain the info? Like write a summary in your own words, bookmark, highlight, etc? I would really love to hear your ideas on this.

Missing out if you haven't delved into 'Step Up: Success Unlocked'-a treasure trove of practical guidance on crafting a prosperous routine. It underscores the crucial role of routine, discipline, and our environment in the pursuit of success. With discussions on motivation and the potency of daily habits, this book serves as a stellar source of inspiration for those seeking a fresh and improved start. Highly recommended.

The advice about having a journal was eye opening. I have fallen into the constant education of self help, and surely practicing it; but sometimes it’s more of a distraction than active & productive.

I'm currently living with my parents and I disturb them all day by telling what I read everyday . I think unknowingly it is a great way to remember what you read. And now I’m currently about 80% through "Playbook to Millions by Grant Cardone. I have read a lot of entrepreneurial books and self improvement books, and this book is my absolute favorite. This book is extraordinary and really gets you to work extremely hard toward your goals in life and succeed at multiple different areas like personal finance, business and career. This is an absolute must buy if you need a push to get you going in business or you want more out of life.

When you talked about the first book, the Dopamine Nation by Anna Lembke, it made me think of when I used to work at a big company where most of the people disliked working there (thanks to management). I started to answer people's questions "How is it/how are you doing" with the same answer and lots of positive energy "I'm great because it's soon Friday!", and the closer to Friday the more energy I put into it. First, I did this because for the fun of it and I like to see people's reactions when I give an "abnormal" answer to an imprinted greeting phrase everyone uses but does not really mean what they say, more that they just say "hello".
After a while I started to feel that energy that I faked when replying, it started to lift me up, give me energy, and the closer every Friday came the happier I got, and so did people that asked me these "hello" questions.
So somehow, by being stubborn, curious, and pushing for something new in a weird and funny way I made myself and others happy with this weird "experiment.
I remember especially one older guy, who didn't talk to so many people, always quiet and gloomy. This guy became so energetic and talkative after a while.

I had never thought about self-help books as entertainment, but you are right, they can end up being used that way! Journaling has been far more beneficial than I ever could have imagined, not only do I have a record to go back to in order to hold myself accountable for goals, but I enjoy the re-reading past memories. The most surprising thing most people who journal probably already know but I didn't is your thoughts can come out written in a way that for some reason you couldn't congeal and express using internal dialogue alone. I'd add "Atomic Habits" to your list, I have applied the techniques there to everything from getting myself to floss daily to spending far less time on social media, it works!

Maybe the reason old classics are so full of wisdom is because some truths are timeless and because through the ages people have found the wisdom worthy of keeping in hard copy and making new copies. Poorer books often don’t make a second print run

The best book I've read in the last five years is Iain McGilchrist's "The Master and His Emissary". The master being the right hemisphere and the Emissary is the left hemisphere. McGilchrist's thesis being the thinking brain has taken over from the holistic brain.

Thank you!! I would love to (and really need to)get in to a coaching program, but my biggest fear is not having enough time to dedicate to it. I’m so ready to build my 2.0 of myself and need a lot of change to be who and what I want to be. Health (both physically and mentally) career wise, being more present, growing as a wife and mom, financial health, addiction (not to drugs), setting and hitting my goals, journaling and meditation, .Etc. I need it all. But the time commitment is what I feel always holds me back.

I totally relate to this Gabbie. It is totally overwhelming to try and take it on all at once. When I kept it simple and made 1 small change and committed to that 1 thing and kept consistent, it became part of my normal routine after a while and then I was able to add another thing. My mom always used to ask "how do you eat an elephant?" 1 bite at a time. Be encouraged, you're not alone.

Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls. The balls are called work, family, health, friends, and integrity. And you’re keeping all of them in the air. But one day you finally come to understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls-family, health, friends, integrity-are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered.
You need to be doing fewer things for more effect instead of doing more things with side effects.
      ‐Garry Keller,The one thing.

    1. I got a question - how to you keep doing stuff when there's a set back in your life, or when it gets harder? How to negotiate with yourself so you won't stop?
    2. How do you always keep going? Like when I reach a goal. I just stop. Then I regress.

Acknowledge the setback, if you can do something to change it great; else learn to move on. From there, when it comes to keeping on look at tasks you can do in a daily basis. Example instead of say “read x book” one could instead say “read for 10 minutes whatever book you want”. All the best!

Concentrate on maintaining a high sense of purpose, and the success will flow to
    you naturally.
Steve Jobs is a prime example for this, who amassed quite a fortune in his relatively short life, actually cared very little for
material possessions. His singular focus was on creating the best and most original designs, and when he did so, good fortune followed him.

You really need this book, you will not be disappointed but actually richly rewarded at least 20 times over other books you have mentioned. It’s about overcoming sex addiction.
It’s called Open to Bliss by Omid Mankoo
And if you are not blown away by it I’ll send you the money you purchased it for. Have in mind, once you get the solution to mysteries and puzzling sexual things you will think you actually knew it before simply because solutions make sense. So before you read have in mind that so many things are a mystery to you, because once you start reading the answers which make sense you will seem obviously true once you get what I am stating.

i told a friend this. some women want to go through the failure and start all over with a new relationship. some want to chase that dopamine of initial sparks flying, when the current partner is not releasing that dopamine, she is chasing after. so, it might not be that she really is into that guy talking to her; he simply is setting off the right dopamine in her mind that she is craving! he looked at me with amazement, eyes wide open, still face, and awed!

    • @giozsea6098

dopamine can defeat substance; many will feel down from it and back away, few will lean in and wake up!

I have work, business also. Everything is there and running fine but still no luck. What to do in business, even when money comes, where it goes, I do not know and every time I am a thief, then give the answer to it. Will the Law of Attraction work? Will Mind Power work or not? Will it work or not? Will selfie poses work or not? I have arrived. Please give a final answer whether all these things will work or not. I am tired of going here and there to God temple and temple and I have spent a lot of time on my mind power, but if I do not get this much result, then please support me.

I'd recommend anything by Robert Greene but I found The 33 Strategies of War particularly good.

Happiness can be an expression of mastery over one's emotions, therefore part of a healthy self discipline. Back in Ralph Waldo's day, there was so much more oxygen than what we struggle with (& for!) today. Huge difference to the brain.

I will recommande, ""Factfulness'' by Hans Rosling. This I found as a life changing book, as the book provides methods of how understand our actual world based on the facts.
